Don't think it'll be a dead end too much longer as there are new housing developments everywhere. Even the wasps are building- right near GZ so this was a real park n grab here, didn't even leave my seat! TFTC Sphir and happy new year to you.
We came upon your cache, Sphir3, while geocaching at the Newbies Event at Widgee. We are in the company of Temingi.
Pulled up and I spotted the hide from the drivers seat.

A whacky dead end to be sure !!
I headed up the other dead end,

Oh !! I hate dead end suburbs

Followed the map to the dead end. A high point looking over the estate. Quick find, just a leap out of the car - watch out for the paper wasps though.

T-Tech had to work at Gympie today so I joined him for the journey from Brisbane, then had a couple of hours to geocaching [^]
This one made me chuckle. I drove right around and ended up just having to step out of the car to make the grab. If only my arms had been a little longer TFTC, SPIKE.

Would probably have found it if i had checked that i had the coordinates on my sheet BEFORE i left home! Oh well, next trip.
Out in the Gympie region while camping at the event at Widgee, we took the opportunity to have a look around and sample the local caches.
Stopped by here for a quick find in the scorching heat.
This cache is in good condition, and makes smilie #3079. Thanks **Sphir3** for showing us this spot. Feel free to discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Good one for the little fellow. He loves to be the one who finds the cache so even when we find it we tell him where to look and allow him to discover it, his face when he does is so worth it. TFTC
Well it did prove to be a dead end as the cache name states! Did not take us long to find the cache container that has a broken bottom to it but log is ok.

It took a little while to find it,
we found one clue but didn't give much away.
It was Farley easy but very fun.

Quick easy find. The container is damaged and may need a replacement or at least duck tape to waterproof it to some extent.
Find # 4428 @ 12:24 pm while visiting family. TNLN, Left my mark in the log. Thank for placing this cache here....
Wonderful activity. Not to difficult but exciting once you discovered the treasure.

WARNING WARNING WARNING! Cache is compromised by paper wasp nest. STUNG THREE TIMES APPROACHING SITE!
I had already been warned that the 29th was going to be a caching day as the nerd in Bruce had advised that our stats for that day were very poor . So coupled with the enticement of an event in Gympie it was there we headed. Loved the creative hides which had us doing all manner of things. Thanks to Sphir3 for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
From Canberra but out still holidaying. Seeing sites and caching with geo hubby... Tftc
Last find for the year 2015. Took along a muggle with me to show what geocaching is all about. TFTC
