Great cache! Walked this track a few years ago into Kerikeri. Stunning views over farmland. TFTC
Nealy done for the day, just a few more to get and we ended up passing by here so stopped off to look for this one. It didn't seem safe right by GZ so we parked up a bit away and walked 100m or so back to the cache - good thing as one or two utes did pass by.
At GZ we saw a sign that indicated that the Te Araroa trail at this point is now closed for some reason - it didn't say why but i guess you can find out if you need to. Didn't stop us finding the cache as we didn't need to step over the stile here at the fence, we could stay on the road side and find the cache.
Easy find here and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache, all good here.

ON the way back to my apartment for the night, tried a few more caches. Found with ease, even though the mobile phone service was nil. TFTC
After spending most of the day in the hot sun at a sporting event up north, I thought I should make use of the long evening to pick up a few caches in the Puketi area before heading home.
A nice quick find here in the hint location. TFTC

Day 9 I think!!! Of my TA adventure..up earlyish to make good time to re supply in Kerikeri. Track across paddock is closed so had to carry on down the road not before finding this one with my hand rather than my eyes tftc
I was on road walking to kerikeri and as I went past here it would have been rude not to pick up this one and as I'm on the Te Araroa its fitting for me to get this cache as normally I would have gone over this point any way .
Kerikeri here I come for a night and to grab some more food .
Living life one foot steep at a time and caching my way home as I walk the
Te Araroa and discover the hidden treasures new Zealand has to offer.
Blùff here i come

Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
NZ is back at level 2 so we can go geocaching again. Please wash your hands and stay safe. Happy caching!
IMPORTANT: Due to New Zealand's recent State of Emergency declaration and a nationwide lockdown due to commence at 11.59pm Wednesday 25 March, this geocache is disabled until further notice. Logs from now until the lockdown is officially lifted will be deleted. While geocaching is a fantastic was to get physical exercise and support good mental health, there is risk of spreading the virus by many people handling a geocache. Not worth the risk. Stay home and solve a puzzle instead! Kia kaha. Be kind. Stay home. Wash your hands.
