High muggle cache plus making way for nan in the park series

Kids hunted for ages, could not find

Logging this permisssion from Co accompanied by a couple of photos as it was missing when we were at paihia. The smaller beach that the playground is at looks a lovely beachh but we didn't get to swim there oly at the main Paihia beach, which was very nice...

No luck while hunting in the rain

I will do maintenance on this cache in the next couple of weeks. There will also be a relocation as this cache is frequently mugged. Thank you for your patience.

Is this one still there? Could owner please check? Too many muggles around for me to take a good look, but I am glad that I did not try too hard, given the string of DNFs. . .

Visiting from Nelson and off around Northland on a family tiki tour - enjoying some of the many sights and towns en route.

In Paihia for a couple of nights and whilst kids were happily swimming, I set off for a walk to Waitangi - cacheing on the way.

This was the closest hide to our hotel, but despite a good look, found nothing - seems like I'm not alone!

Stayed at the Paihia Beach Resort and Spa,powered up the device and cache was 45 m away from our balcony.Place was overrun with people so made an early morning grab the next morning,not sure how the previous person had a dnf as I spotted it immediately .TFTC.

Whilst staying in the area, I thought a good way to spend a bit of the afternoon would be to get a few caches. Found this one really quickly and TFTC.

We found this cache on a walk from Paihia to Waitangi. The cache was quick and easy to find. Thank you for the cache!

Found in the dark with fireworks as a back drop..... Spending time with our favorite NZ family. Guy Fawkes night is a no go in Australia - I forgot about fireworks in the community. Nice hide! Cheers from Australia!

Had the place to myself, tried a few of the trees since my phone couldn't decide between two of them but this one got the better of me. Hope it's still there since there have been a few previous DNFs. Will give it another go next time I am here.

Had a good look around, and up and down. But we did not find it.

Grabbing a few before getting too muggley & muddy before 'the beast' event TFTC!

Tried for this one a few days ago but too many muggles. Came back early today.

On a 5-day tiki tour of Northland with sveppi. First find of the holiday. Hide is obvious, very public place hope it doesn't get muggled too often!

Off up to Northland for a little winter break with fanfan-77. Easy first find thanks.

Already 3x I check alone and last one with my sister she even couldn't find it. Search in the whole part of the Pohutukawa but I didn't find it

Today we drove upwarts north. On the way we pickup some caches. And this one was one of it. An other great day in new zealand.TFTC

TFTC. I had a look yesterday with SgtSchultz in the most obvious spot - not to be seen. Came back today and there it was, right where it should have been! Quick find today. The cache must have been taken by another geocacher yesterday.

I am unashamadley after numbers at the moment so a trip to Northland with Vistra was planned, Saturday up to the Cape staying in Kaitaia then heading to Paihia for a late lunch event.

This was published early this morning, we gave the locals many hours to find before we went in, haha. We were driving past on the way to the event and we noticed it hadnt been found so we had to find it, thankfully it was a quick find although under the original description we were unsure if it was the actual cache, checked with the CO and it was.

Made a minor change to cache description. thank you Yorkshirekiwi83 for drawing this to my attention.

After spending yesterday caching around the Far North, today yorkshirekiwi83 and I made our way from Kaitaia back to Auckland via Doubtless Bay and Paihia, stopping for many caches along the way. Noticed this cache published overnight, so we stopped to make the find on our way into Paihia for my event this afternoon. Found at 12:50pm and surprised to be greeted with a blank log for a joint FTF! TFTC!

Yah 2nd to find this one. Didn't stop here today for a play or a swim but we often visit this spot. Kids are always keen to play on the playground and in the tide. The nearby pie shop has some delicious pies. TFTC
