Easy find as it was on the ground below guard rail. No Pencil but log book still has plenty of pages. Could do with some maintenance, and a new magnet?!
Quick and easy find with CatCasper. There was a spider in the cache so got a bit of a fright!TFTC
Grabbed this one as we left town early this morning.Loved the Mad Max movies - all of them but particularly the original. But didn't recognise the site even though I remember the scenes at the beachhouse well. Thanks for a quick stop and grab tackle head.
A quick stop on our way to Lorne. We headed off down the Great Ocean Road for a few days for a belated wedding anniversary celebration. The weather was kind and the scenery along the road spectacular. We based ourselves in Lorne and then tripped around checking out the local places. While we had visited the area some time ago it was great to spend more time exploring the area, and of course the caching.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache tackle_head.**SKI Pair****
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip. Now has Ellen Sch, MrVon sr and Insve started on their jurney home to Norway so we now sign logs with our nick.

Bullertrout, Nanzie and i are caching our way to Adelaide for the mega. Picking up what we can in the time available. Nice easy find here. Its years since i saw the movie i can't remember the house will have to rewatch. All logs are being signed as BT, N, PC or some variation of that. Thanks #15128
Found with Paddle Chick and Nanzie on our road trip to Adelaide to the mega. Enjoying the caches along the way
After visiting the nearby lighthouse, we came here to grab this before heading back home.
Velk cesta do Ocenie - den 16 - Melbourne - Great Ocean Road - Colac, Victoria (280 km)Rno v Melbourne opt prelo. Stlo m to 3 tisce a nemm kde bydlet. Nakonec mi dmy nachzej motel za vy cenu kousek odtud - 65 km ! To jako by ti v Brn ekli, e se m jet ubytovat do Znojma. Tady to ale za dnou vzdlenost nepovauj. Zanm mt Austrlie pln zuby. Jete mm toho panka bourbonu a colu. Jsem zvdav, co m tu jet ek. Zlat Amerika !In Melbourne rain again this morning. So I leave and drive to the Great Ocean Road. I make a little detour and found some challengies in countryside. Than I spend whole day on the GOR and found some caches there and finished my way in Apollo Bay where my booked and payed accomodation was occupied ! Shit ! I need to drive another 65 km to Colac and pay another 250 AUD in another motel. I dont like Australia. Every day is raining, windy and cold and now this. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Czech republic.

Today we headed out from Winchelsea to do our second day on the GOR. We made our way down through Wensleydale and picked up a few trads in tiny little none weatherproof pots. Nice little series. Then on to Anglesea which seemed to be very hipster/surfer vibes and we enjoyed a nice walk around The Wetlands, more caches and ate our packed lunch at one of the murals. Onwards to Aireys Inlet to visit the lighthouse and more caching. Lorne was our last stop on GOC seemed to be a bit more exy here and lots of posh Melbs people here . Back to Winchelsea via Erskine Falls, surprised no cache there and via Bambra area to collect some super cool woodland caches. Ran out of time to do everything we wanted but you can never get them all .Thanks to all the CO for some really great hides and especially to Bushfire we were sad to read of ill health.Quick find and sign TFTC
The guardians of this cache were displeased when we removed this, placed it back as we found it to avoid any further anger. TFTC
1. Look a the seastack near to GZ. You can see the basalt layer and the yellow limestone layer. Estimate the thickness of the layers. Do you see any tuff?
2. Do you think it´s possible, that there is a new erruption of the volcano in the next 100years? Explain your ideas!
3. Photos are very welcome but optional

Find # 12715
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
A family weekend away in Anglesea. Down here to enjoy and cache the area.
Last time I was in Anglesea was Oct 2018 and I had left a few unfound. So back again to claim some more finds in the area and tackle the AdLabs
As Tyred n Cranky had found this one already. They knew where to park so I could make a quick n safe grab.

Another MAD MAX found.... I'm slowly getting through them.

Diverted from a morning walk for this one. I've always enjoyed the series over many years.
Driving past as far as Lorne I found this cache was a quick park and grab. Cache and contentws were in good condition.

In Anglesea for a couple of days with Geodog Penny on board and staying at 'Maroo Park Cottages'
Today we went for a drive down to Lorne, finding a few caches along the way.
First up we drove around Aireys Inlet doing the Adventure Lab and finding a couple of caches before heading down to Lorne.
While in Lorne and in between showers we done the two Adventure Labs, found one traditonal cache, and also found the Bonus cache.
Geodog Penny had lots of walks around doing the Adventure Labs with us, plus she went paddling along the beach near the Surf Life Saving Club. Lucky for us she didn't go in swimming - nothing worse than a wet soaking dog in the back of the van on a cold rainyfied day.
On the way back to Anglesea we stopped off and found this one.

Found on our road trip from Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road to Goolwa SA
Completed along with AdlLab, EarthCache, virtuals and some multis while on day two of Great Ocean Road trip with alphag_25. Had to get some traditionals.
Mrs Dromaniax and I had decided that a drive along the coast was in order. So we packed the geodogs, Teeny Treek, Mini Michi and Gypsy Girl into Joey the geomobile and off we went.
The Geodogs had a few runs on various beaches, and we stopped for coffee, a pie and some cake at Kennet River.
While we were out and about, finding a cache was deemed a good idea, so this was the lucky cache.
We made a reasonably quick find, and them headed back to the geomobile and home.
A fantastic day out, we were taking in the beauty of the Great Ocean Road.
Thank you for this Traditional cache tackle_head; everything is in good order.

Thanks for a quick find in the dark on the way to Lorne. Decided to sign the log in the car, but as I opened i, out come a spider, dropped the cache in the car! With the spider no way to be seen….at least it was a smallish one!
I decided to do a road trip along the Great Ocean Road this week. It’s been a long time since I travelled along this area and it was certainly before I was into caching! Today I’m traveling from Anglesea to Sugarloaf, past Lorne.
This cache was covered in ants that all wanted to have a nibble at my hand. I signed this one quickly and returned it too its ant riddled abode.
Thanks tackle_head for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Brrr, it's cold and windy today, so a GR cache only 7 metres from where I'd parked was perfect! Off to Cumberland to camp tonight, but with muggles so caching time is limited.
Found it! Cache is covered in ants - I have brushed them off and put it back in the same place
A drive from Bellbrae to Lorne today with Bogonghazy had us finding some great caches and enjoying some amazing views, and exploring new places. Thanks for bringing us here Tacklehead
Hurrah! This is cache visit #8 for the day, but only the second find I could log. There's very few down this direction I haven't found years ago.
Found on a tour of the Great Ocean road, fortunately cache is safe from workers cutting back foliage
Not an entirely easy find today, it's a public holiday and the road is very busy. Spent time trying not to look suspicious and the cache was found and signed.

One day in frozen UK,
We drove to the drop off bay.
Took off high and came down in Australia.
With not much to bring
Bar a satisfied grin,
Less than 800 caches to my name
Then along came a virus
Which sat down beside us
And cancelled my home going plane.
We stuck to the rules
Stayed mostly indoors
But gradually sanity left us.
So with no real plans
But sanitized hands
We set off for a wood full of caches.
Of 1000 I never
Dreamed I would ever
Catch on this trip to down under
But I've stayed here so long
That it wouldn't be wrong
To think I could hit this great number.
This was a quick easy find thank you, beautiful area love it so much. Added a trade mark gummy bear

Found It......While travelling around the coast on a blustery Sunday afternoon we pulled up near G.Z. thinking it might be a tough search but Mr H_3 found it in the first place he looked. So with the log signed we continued our journey. Thanks tackle_head for the cache and highlighting these parts of the movie, We have picked up a few of the Mad Max series in our travels
Whenever I find a Mad Max Movie cache I always feel like rewatching the movies
Still haven’t got around to doing that! Too busy caching I guess Thanks for the cache.

#3867 Heading down the coast today to seek relief from forecast hot temps. We can recall two other Mad Max related caches, one was on the northern edge of Melbourne and the other at Silverton near Broken. Mad Max certainly got around. A nice quick find here, TFTC tackle_head.
Victoria Day 6: The Great Ocean Road from Geelong to Apollo Bay
Today’s the day we set off on our Great Ocean Road journey from Melbourne. The plan is to spend two days traversing the route from east to west, and enjoy the sights as we go along. The first stop was Geelong for some caches, food and the views, before heading down the road for lunch at Lorne and finally resting at Apollo Bay. Great views and great sights along the way, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
This is the specific log for this cache:
Another spot in this series found. Found a couple of these in Melbourne last year, so this is a familiar concept, though I still haven’t watched the movie yet. TFTC!
