Following work, I headed over to meet up with TangentGoat to collect some caches for the winter solstice souviner. The rain had started but luckily the was minimal.Upon arriving at the coordinates, the name of the cache matched perfectly. The cache was quickly located and we were off to the next. Thanks for the cache.
In the Ballarat area for the weekend, so a perfect opportunity to hit up the MSP series and other random caches along the way. Papi4506 did the honours of retrieval for this one. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Saint.Anthony ~~
I headed up to Ballarat after work yesterday so I did not have to get up too early to attend the event and CITO at Miners Rest.I think that Im on first names basis with the guy from the motel because he greeted me when I walked in the door.So after the event and CITO it was time to pick up a few caches in the area before having to head on back home.Headed North to find a few off of them that were off the main roads.I soon located Mt Hollowback and it was hiding itself behind the row of trees along the fence line.I soon found the sign and was able to spot the mountain. After a bit of a search I soon spotted the cache. Thanks Saint.Anthony TFTC.
After a celebratory lunch meeting and walking in the heat of the day in the shade on Mt Buninyong we sat in the cool of the car air conditioning to north of Ballarat and did a few park and grabs including this one. It wasnt in the most obvious location but not far away. Our next stop was at the top of Mt Hollowback. It had great views!
Enjoying our day out in the area between Surefoot24s 70th birthday events.Located by nirgalagrin, with the Evil Muggle performing chauffeuring duties.A lovely afternoon thanks for the entertainment for us all Saint.Anthony

Another nice little cache here, StAnthony has been providing much of my entertainment today, thanks!
A day in Ballarat with Donuthole to find a few lad caches, solved puzzles and a few in between.
It was a cool start to the day which soon changed to be a fantastic day with blue sky.
As simple as the hide was, it took a keen eye to spot.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Traditional cache Saint Anthony

Out and about caching on this beautiful Sunday with AusFox to collect a bunch of smiley faces around the Ballarat and Creswick area. I see our good friend Dromaniax was the last to find this Such a beautiful country side!!
After a wonderful weekend camping at lake Burrumbeet, we decided to start heading home. We wanted to travel back to the Bellarine Peninsula via Trentham to check out some future possible camping spots. It was another marvellous day, and we almost stayed another night, but we also had things to do. On the way home, we decided to grab as many 2/2 caches as possible. This was the first of them. We parked a little along the road and walked back to GZ. We made a quick find and signed the log. The cache is in great condition. Thank you for this cache, Saint.Anthony.
Not knowing if and when we might go into lockdown again I decided to find a cache today. I've been interested in this hill for a while and was happy to see there is cache nearby. It's a well hidden cache, a little damp inside but I dried it. I really enjoyed visiting Mt Hollowback and reading some information about it. Thanks Saint.Anthony
I am chasing 2/2's for an interstate challenge that I am hoping to sign soon. Thanks for another cache to help fulfil the challenge.
Didn't see any kangaroos here, female or otherwise. Come to think of it, we have been up this way for nearly a week and hardly seem any kangaroos at all. Nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Blessed with a sunny but windy day - the view is pretty spectacular. Nice hide - TFTC
What a stunning view on a beautiful day. Let's go home as 9 for the day is pretty good! TFTC
Thanks for bringing me out here. A pretty quick find, that little slope was a bit challenging for the little catchers legs but she got up there in the end.
TFTC all in good condition.

A quick find on a gloomy day but it was nice to be in some rural country for a day. I like the hint , like many hints they don't appear to be much of a hint until you get to the GZ, then it becomes very useful. TFTC.
Caching in the area we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

There is a surprising number of these things around here. The ex-volcanoes that is.
Travelling in the food company of Bushfire we headed more northerly for a full day of caching and an ambitiously long list of caches to try and find. For some unknown reason we missed following our list so things became less organised and involved more driving than necessary but lots of fun and caches It seems we are now in Saint Anthony territory as we are now also in the latter part of the day. A quick find here TFTC Saint Anthony
After a short break in Creswick where we gobbled down one of the biggest home-made pies I have ever clapped my eyes on we continued on our journey to Snake Valley via a rather circuitous route allowing us to avoid a chunk of the monotonous Western Freeway. Upon arriving here we both waddled across to the GZ and I was the one who found the cache since Mrs B was blown backwards towards the car after a rather volcanic eruption of a meat pie (beef cooked in red wine) flavoured gas that I trumpeted as a tribute to the ancient volcanic area we were traveling through!

TFTC. We were heading back to Maryborough after an event in Ballarat. We had decided to return via DIP as we had looked several times. At the event we confirmed what was needed. We we driving past here and saw the green flag on the GPS. We had to stop here for a quick easy find. Now to the DIP
I actually walked past this cache before joojoo57 told me to turn around - yep, there it was. Apart from the slippery slope that the cache resides on this was a really easy one to locate

Having a caching afternoon with Benjay21 in the countryside just north of Ballarat. Thank you to all the COs for the time and effort you have given to placing the caches we found today.
We did not head up to the top today but it sounds interesting so we will go another time. SL TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1049. Would be wonderful views if the mists cleared. Just amazed at the amount of hay and silage stored in various sheds and paddocks around here. How envious the drought-stricken farmers in NSW and QLD would be. The container has lost its o-ring and is letting in water, so the log is almost mush. Barely able to make our mark. Our thanks to Saint.Anthony.
Good little hiding spot here. Like the colour of the cache container that blends in well. Unfortunately the logbook is damp and falling apart and needs some maintenance, please. Great view of Mt Hollowback.

Find #1763 for me. Found at 11:40 am while on my way to Ballarat from Bendigo with the kids. As I got closer to Ballarat I noticed the weather deteriorating with drizzle in Daylesford but luckily the rain held back when I arrived here and a quick find was made. The log sheet was a little damp but dry enough to sign my name. Thanks for bringing me here today Saint.Anthony and thanks for the cache!
Found It.......We had decided to finish the Planetary Challenge last weekend and had Gemma's Christmas series in our sight. After working this morning we set off grabbing lunch as we slipped through Ballarat. After finishing Gemmas series we set off collecting a few more caches as we went as we don't often get up here with nice weather. After a quick dash the cache was located and with the log signed we continued on to the next one. Thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache
Great views of all the surrounding little and not so little volcanic peaks.
Well worth going to the top for a view.

Today was the day for another road trip up from Geelong. This morning I was in the company of Na'wal, a very welcome team member indeed. With a bunch of puzzles solved, it was time to collect some smiley faces. We found a great mix of hides, trads, some mysteries and a letterbox as well. We were spoilt with the weather as well, it was a cracker of a day !! Thanks to all of the CO's for some great hides and some brain busting puzzles. TFTC Saint.Anthony
DAB and I had planned a day out caching around the Ballarat / Creswick area. We met early with our geo wheels packed with snacks and plenty of drinks on board and set off to enjoy another brilliant, fun day, exploring new areas. We pulled up the geo wheels and in very quick time this cache was spotted. Signed and returned as found.

It took me a little while to think about the clue, then after some consideration made an attempt and came up with the goods. The clue is spot on! TFTC!
Our last full day of caching on our excursion to the big island and we decided we didn't want to cache in town so we found our way out to this area to see how many we could get. The tally for the day was 35 GC finds, apologies for the generic logs. TFTC
Nice hide. Tftc. Great view
