Last 9 logs are DNFs. Here is no Cache since June last year. No reactions by the Owner.
Not today, sorry. We could see two absolutely perfect hiding places, but no cache there!
Managed quite a forage through the garden but no luck. Please check it is still there.
A fairly busy little street but timed it well enough to get out for a quick look before being spotted by nosey neighbours. Had a good look around for 5 minutes or so before but came up empty handed. Either very well hidden or needs checking. Will be back some other time hopefully.
I didn't get very animated with my search, but couldn't see anything in obvious places and I felt too exposed to the public to delve deeper into the roadside garden.
Hmmm found the garden but not the container....there was a possible hideyhole in a man made cavity which was empty...
Never a fan of needle in haystack hides. Gave it a couple of minutes, but felt too exposed.
Didn't feel comfortable searching for too long in the middle of the road with all the neighbouring houses around.
After descending Mount St John, I was passing by this cache, and wondered: what in the world is a "Traafic Hump Garden"? I was expecting to find a park... but, oh, that what it is! Luckily it was in the afternoon, and not many muggles about, so I can torture myself with the hunt in the garden. Found it at last, so TFTC!
Sorry for logging so late! Out on one of Cats&Dragons missions with HKCB and iammrwalker.
C&D took one for the team. It was a little funny watching him and the muggles. We thought they were watching him suspiciously but it turns out not. TFTC

C&D had devised a bit of a plan for a challenge he has been working on for a while now, which meant we were focusing on caches with a 2.5 or higher difficulty and terrain rating. I've been a few of these missions with C&D lately and they have always been a bit of fun so I quickly said I'd tag along, we were also joined by iammrwalker and Ky3ber.
The plan meant we had to catch two low tides on both coasts as well as squeeze in night (very early morning) cache before the first low tide at 6.45am. A rugby game this evening also meant we were on a fairly tight time frame for the day, so to get around that a 3.30am start was agreed on. We had a fair bit of luck throughout the day and managed to locate all that we were had planned plus a few others that were close. We signed the logs as HICK, and acronym of our caching names. A big thanks to all the CO's for the great caches which were found today.
A few muggles about today so we had to be careful for this one. Lucky C&D made a quite find.
Find #24 for the day.

I was fortunately able to accept an invitation to join Cats&Dragons, HKCB, and Kyb3r on one of C&D’s infamous ‘missions’. The goal today was to collect a bunch of Terrain 2.5 and Difficulty 2.5 or higher geocaches in the Auckland area. We also grabbed some others along the way including a couple that required special requirements. We signed the logs as H1CK an amalgamation of our Geocaching handles. Many of the hides required us to navigate coastal areas at low tides which necessitated us leaving Hamilton at 3:30am. Having been on previous trips like this one with C&D I was keen to go again. The high difficulty, high terrain caches often are much more memorable and higher in quality and that was true of the vast majority of caches we found today. Thanks to the adventurous CO’s for the varying placements and enticing us out and about to discover some new and cool places.
C&D showed off his stealth skills today making a quick find, timing his search to avoid the interest of a dog walker and a local resident working in their garden.

Here we are at it again, and in "we" I mean HOAC out and about picking up a few targeted caches in the Auckland Region. Today the team comprised of HKCB, iammrwalker & kyb3r, collectively signing the log as HICK.
As I'm still progressing through the DGSc Challlenge and working to completeing my final elective this was always going to be a challenge in the true meaning of the word. Only the Criminally Insane begin this Challenge and if you weren't prior to starting you will be by the end.
A big thank you to all cache owners whom placed and maintained these caches, we had a great day.
So another even earlier start as we were working to the times of the tides (on both coasts) so of course being out of towners this will never be at a convienent time, but rather when we can pull a group of us together and work to make a great inspired adventure of it. Several of the caches today have required several visitsto gather peices of information that we put together to get the final, and so of course these were also targeted today.
This was the ninteenith of twenty caches we located today with the BONUS of no DNF's. So we set off from Hamilton at OMG 3.30am, knowing that we were going to have to squeeze a lot in (as there was also a Rugby International to make it to tonight).
Finally managed to make our way past this one as previously had been disturbed by either workmen nearby or people coming and going from nearby properties
Thank you for the Placement, Thank you for the cache

Argh aggies. so many creepy crawlies hang out in these. Should have dropped our tb's but forgot! Day two of a 4 day road trip from Hawkes Bay to Auckland and back to collect as many caches as we can. Log signed as b&p.Tftc
Another one of those caches that I wasn't able to find on previous attempts. I did get a rather good hint tonight o narrow down my search, so I came over after we found a cache on Puriri Dr. and searched again. After stopping twice for passing cars, I managed to spot the cache. I took it back to my GeoVan to sign the log and then replaced as found. TFTC.
On the way in to work I decided to make a quick stop here to grab the cache. Thankfully I was early enough that there wasn't much traffic on the road so the find was quick and easy. TFTC! #1037
In the area so decided we would sneak past and grab this one. Had not planned to get so wet. The overnight dew left one of us with very wet pants.
A good walk in the area to give the kids some exercise while visiting relatives. Thanks for the geocache.
Dropped off Brony love trackable yesterday, and didn't see how to log this from the tablet I was using at the hotel. Back home and just making the record of the little pony continuing her journey.
A quick find at night. Went back to the car to sign the log and the return wasn't so quick as a tow truck pulled up and parked with its lights shining right into GZ while it loaded a car.
Lots of wasps around this island, so we made a quick find and a hasty retreat after swapping a car for a smurf. TFTC
Found it, easy enough and feels a bit simple for a 2.5. TFTC and a nice simple city cache. #15
Needed to watch out for muggles. Look low and scramble. Thanks for the fun. Dropped off our first travel bug too
With ArikiGuides with torchlight assistance. Few muggles around but that didn't stop us... Thanks
Popped the geodog in the car and headed over this way to do a couple of caches instead of walking around our neighbourhood. This is a good sized cache so we left a nice little toy for a junior cacher to find next time they are looking, took nothing. We did this at night time so it was a quiet grab and not too hard. Unfortunately there was no pen or pencil in the cache so if you're planning to do this one, take your own.
Weirdly, we found a second cache, smaller but we were sure this bigger one was the correct item. The geocoin listed when we visited was not there (geobear 081).
Nice neighbourhood and geodog loved walking around here. TFTC.

Not many people out and about in this residential area - quiet enough for an uninterrupted fossick in the garden. Big container - must remember to bring more knick-knacks for junior cachers.
down the road for some study picked this one up in between breaks Aroha and happy caching
Passed by here early on a Sunday morning so no-one around. Could be tricky otherwise but found without difficulty. Many thanks for the placement.
Made the grab here between games at the nearby Pool. Had to empty out a bit of water. Thanks

Last night in New Zealand and I can't sleep... So let's go out and try to find some caches!
At first I thought I'll give it up, as it was night as I would look more than suspicious to search with a light, but then I gave it a try and on second "suspicious" place I was successful .
Thanks for the cache, greetings from the Czech Republic!

In the area today, had time for a quick park and grab. This met the requirements. Picked up "Rolling Home" TB. Will move along. TFTC
Back in Auckland with time to go and find some caches today. This took a bit of a rummage but it didn't take too long. No trackables in the cache but I dropped one in anyway. TFTC, Biggles.
I'm currently attempting a 50 day streak for the GIO Licence I am working on and as an added challenge a few of the SEAC crew are joining in.
Had been in the city for a late afternoon appointment so when the motorway home was crawling I decided a quick detour would hardly make a difference. Quick look at the map and spotted this one not too far away. Got to GZ and was very conscious of the potential high factor for muggles but thankfully none seemed to be around or were spotted in their homes.
Having read the description suggesting this was suitable for children I took a guess at which side would be safer and thankfully it paid off as it was a nice quick find.
Thanks for the cache. 2 x TB drop. Streak day #30.

Nice easy find. The camo paper inside the case is wet so although we dried the contents, they will be soggy again soon.
Quick park and grab while the kids are at music practice. Log nice and dry. TFTC!
Checking out our cache hidden nearby- Te Kopuke ( Mount Saint John ) , so made sense to pick this one up. Quickly found after diving in. Container holding up. TFTC.

Out and about with Pagenz and just as we were starting to look the CO caught us in the act and very helpfully narrowed down the search area. Took the cache over to him as we signed it so he could check it was dry enough and then replaced as found. TFTC and the extra help.
On a short geocaching trip in Auckland.
Was looking for this one and owner called out to me with a hint! (nice to meet you)
Soon found and log was wet so left a new one in a new bag.

Quick easy find although the cache container was full of water and log was falling apart
Even in these quiet side streets you still have to watch out for those muggles that like walking. Cache was a few metres from where I parked. Thanks.
Needed a cache for the gap in the calendar. Headed to what we hoped would be a quick find as it was cold, dark and pouring! Luckily the rain pretty much stopped as we parked up. Took a minute or 2 to find the cache, but then had trouble signing the log as it was damp and the paper was tearing but we got there in the end! TFTC
After a nearby appointment we popped over to have a look for this cache. We found it with no problem - but it was pretty wet inside. The log was still write-on-able, but there was a couple of centimeters of water in the container. We dried it out with our handy dandy teatowel and put the log in a bag within the bag.
We swapped a dice for a skateboard. C/O may want to check log.
Thanks for the cache

I beat Mum to this cache we managed to get the cache before it rained. The inside of the cache was all wet, but Mum had a towel and a spare bag, so we gave it a good wipe out and got it as dry as we could before we put it back.
Thank you for the cache [^]

Felt quite exposed here on this little suburban street, but luckily the container was quickly spotted in the open. A few muggles out today, walking their dogs, so sneakily grabbed the container, signed the log and replaced the cache before moving on. Thanks for the hide!
Not sure why my DNF was deleted?? Seems some dodgy goings on are happening here.
After popping into work for a few hours on this Sunday afternoon I decided to reward my self with some cache detection on the way home. Parked up nearby and started my search. Found some rubbish and plenty of wet plants before I came across the cache. Rather exposed just here. Cheers for the cache placement!
Didn't get the title, but it was a nice quick find in the rain. Hardly anyone around. tftc. And yay there were toys to swap!
Quick dash into a quiet street after dark to collect this cache before heading to the airport. Things were a little damp so we placed the log in a small bag. Might need a little TLC from CO. TFTC
I decided to go for a long walk this morning and collect this cache. Although it was reasonably early in the morning, searching for this cache did make me feel a bit exposed. Fortunately it didn't take too long to find. TFTC!
Found quite quickly the other morning on the way to work. Didn't see an suspicious characters lurking about. ...oh...well only me. .still I suppose you need people to be aware of who might be up to no good in your area. Glad someone was able to explain what we are all up to. ..cheers V.
An interesting find for this "dot day".
Found GZ surrounded by 4 people with the container in their hands. Proudly announced ourselves as fellow cachers - only to find that they were the neighbourhood watch in this suburban street, concerned about a potential drug drop!
We assured them that this was not the case and explained geocaching! The residents of Mt Eden are now safe!!!!!

Sure took quite a search to find -not exactly a drive-by but still got the find!

Found en-route to the airport. Not really a fan of searching about a bunch of identical bushes right by the road, but luckily I managed to spot the cache quicker than I expected I might have.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Got the notification through when at work but needed to head to Greenlane anyway....awesome. Arrived just as Macyc95 arrived. Hellos were done and searching began. quick find here for our 2nd FTF of the day and Macyc95's first ever...congrats. TFTC

Saw the notification for this and it was quite close, so I thought I would attempt my first FTF. Arrived at GZ and saw KirsTim approaching from the other direction. KirsTim found it quickly and we signed the log. FTF #1
