TFTC smile19895 Out and about on a Sunny day on my way to Wollongong in a round about way picking up LGAs on the way signed as GS1947 on small logs Thank you teamMerlin for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Came along today to add some more smileys to the map of the Hawkesbury area. You just have to love geocaching, especially on Valentines Day. It was a good run and goingplaces2 came along for the ride. This cache was very empty when it was opened as it had just a grotty plastic bag inside. So we added a new log in a clean plastic bag and all is now good. TFTC.
Found It!
This one is hidden in a puddle of water so the insides are very wet. I added a new log book but not sure it'll last very long.

Another day another attempt to complete this multi. I think we might need some time for all the puzzles but we’re having fun so I’m happy!
Today is HappyTakahe’s birthday and she wanted to go geocaching so we are out and about to try and get some more of the caches close by to us in our LGA, starting to run out hopefully this lockdown ends soon .
Almost finished this series

I joined Fitzy_1965 & MinnieK for a trip to Sydney to drop in on another Celebration Event. This time in the Hawksbury. We used up the rest of the day doing a series of Challenge caches near Penrith, including a bonus First to Find, and then some of the EG caches surrounding the event location. A long but exhiklerating day of caching.
Thanks for the cache teamMerlin

Headed Sydney way with fitzy_1965 and albida33 today.
We had seen the community celebration event a few weeks ago. I was keen to get to Ebenezer as my Australian family roots come from there so made plans to head north today. After a foggy start, it turned out to be a rather warm day compared to Canberra and surrounds lately.
On our way through Ebenezer, we decided to start doing this series of caches. My Ancestry Family Reunion is held in Ebenezer at the Church every 5 yrs. It got postponed from last year and has just been postponed again so nice to come up here regardless. My descendants, on my Australian side, were on the Neptune which was part of the Second Fleet. They are buried at Ebenezer and Wilberforce cemeteries.
Turning to head for home, we collected a few more caches whilst we had some time up our sleeves. Thanks teamMerlin. Log wet

24,770. Found with minniek and albida33 during a run up to the Ebenezer region for a Community Celebration Event.
When we spotted another Community Celebration Event being held up at a Winery in the Ebenezer region, we decided to head up that way for a full day of caching. A foggy start from Goulburn had us soon burn through for what was a lovely day to be outside. After finishing off a bunch of challenge caches along The Northern Road - including a surprise first to find - we started doing the EG-Q series and other bonus caches along the way. After the event we continued along cherry-picking caches. This was a nice quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks teamMerlin !!

Great day of caching near the Hawkesbury River. Started in Ebenezer with the AL, unfortunately very unsuccessful as the location service on my phone was struggling and could not fix on the wp's I needed. Luckily I also made a good plan for other caches so the day turned out productive. Weather was really good, about 20 with a little breeze and nice and sunny. Quick and easy

TFTC, quick find. There's plenty of "cupcakes" near GZ but managed to grab cache without disturbing them.
Another quick find. However, whilst SL the property owner pulled up at the gate right next to us. Fortunately, we didn't look like baddies trying to cause any trouble and she just asked what we were doing. No we weren't escapees from the dementia ward, we were geocaching. After further explanations, she was quite interested and amused that her fence post played a part in this game. She seemed okay with it. TFTC

Streak day 60.
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Easy little park and grab. The cache is in good condition, signed and replaced. TFTC
Easy cache, the hint makes this far too easy! The log book was soaking wet and ruined so we've replaced with a fresh logbook and bag

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Vineyard for a short three day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Avina Caravan Park, and planning on exploring the areas around Vineyard, McGraths Hill, Mulgrave, Windsor, Wilberforce, and Ebenezer. And being the final weekend of the Cache Carnival (ends Monday) we will be looking to maximise our score on the Friends Leaderboard. Today we were heading up to Ebenezer and then to Australiana Pioneer Village at Wilberforce. This was our 14th find of the day, and 54th find of the holiday.
After visiting the Ebenezer Church and Cemetery, and finding the caches located there, we were now heading back to Wilberforce but stopped off for a couple of extra caches along the way. This was the second one after finding "Wood 3rd - Stumped", and was also a quick find at GZ. The log was wet & unsignable, so we took a photo of it instead, and then replaced as found. Also took note of the clue for the EG-Q Final Puzzle before departing. TFTC teamMerlin.

#8921 - 15:00; I was headed north with Sol de lune to attend an event in the Hawkesbury and we stopped off for a few caches along the way. The day was very hot and peaked at more than 40 degrees, so the chosen caches for today were all located close to roads. This was one of the drive bys we collected on our way after we had passed through suburbia and were closing in on our destination. TFTC teamMerlin
Heading up to the Hawkesbury area to attend an Aussie Day event with LuckyL10n and the plan was to stop to grab a few caches along the way. We decided to find a few in this series as we thought some of the GZ would offer a bit of shade, compared to other areas along the way.
We found all but one of our intended caches, so no real problems. With the heat of the day, it was just about making the find and getting back to the car.
Thanks for this one teamMerlin....no doubt we'll find more in the series another day. Cache all good.

I was on my way to a New Year's day event at the Tizzana Vineyard and decided to leave early from home so I could pick up some of the many caches in the area.
Many of the finds were related to the Ebenezer GeoQuest series, but as I did not manage to visit all of the 25 caches, I definitely will need to comeback for more geocaching in this beautiful area.
The cache was a quick find and after noting down the requested number, I moved on.

Another day OCW marj01. After a very early start from the eastern subs we arrived at Ebenezer at first light to commence the day. During the course of the day we visited 69 trads, 4 multis, 2 puzzle and 2 letterbox caches. With only a handfull of dnfs it was a successfull day, with the majority of the caches being found in a reasonably short time. Thanks to all the COs for hiding and maintaining their caches and providing us with a fun day. Cheers oldmorty.

Suffering from a bit of geocaching withdrawal after our geocaching holiday. We decided to take the opportunity of the good weather to grab as many caches as we could. We managed to get 25 finds for the day. TFTC.

**Total find count: 539**
After a week way from the searching for caches after our holiday, we needed to get out and about on a glorious day. With a total of 25 finds for the day, it felt good to make some finds after a week of no finds.
All caches were in excellent condition except as otherwise noted in my comments below.

Another quick park and grab in this series. Pulled up nearby for a very quick find before signing and replacing the cache as found.

Adventure Monday with the geokids to clean out the last of a few series in the region. A quick park and grab. TNLN TFTC
I've been trying to complete my mop-up of the remaining EG-Q series caches; I think there are about four left before I can tackle the final. Month after month I have driven past this one on my way to the monthly CITO at Charles Kemp reserve. I'm quite a stickler for being on time, and each time I've not stopped here because I felt I ought to get to the event on time. Today I decided that a three-minute stop probably wouldn't make any difference in the number of weeds we pulled out at the CITO.
Thus, a quick stop to find the cache, sign the log and then return everything to its hiding place. Someone had left the camo upside down, so it was really easy to spot. On the other hand, it's pretty doubtful that the average muggle will be checking out this exact spot. I put things back the right way around, though.
Now off to eradicate a few more mothers-of-millions in the bush.

Loving the history of the early settlers and their land grants out here!
I parked beside a little dam. There were lots of small birds diving into the water around the water lilies.
After watching the birds for a couple of minutes I crossed the road to grab the cache. Now that is a serious fence! It won't rot away in this lifetime but its funny that the letterbox is so transient by comparison.
The cache was a quick find. I signed the log and collected the information for the final cache puzzle.
8th find so far today. Cache # 2116
TFTC, an interesting spot!

Back in the area today for my weekly cache run. Had some time up my sleeve after collecting some solved puzzles, so aimed towards some traditionals.
Nice to avenge my DNF at which time the container was missing. Quick find today. Hardest thing was to fit everything back into the container.

Third of seven today after I drop son off in Windsor for scot canoeing adventure. I did this one blind as my phone was out of charge. Knowing the previous clue made it quick find despite the recent roadwork. Thanks team merlin for the placement cheers
Dropped by early this evening and cache has definitely been removed from the hide location. Have replaced container with another type, same size, same coordinates, but a lower elevation.
Darn! Our first DNF for this series.
I found a likely area relating to the hint, but no cache .. Will need to return to re-find as I have noticed the CO has fixed it up.

Did not find! =( had a thorough look, on both sides of the road. We found the remains of a sistema container (see photo) but I don't think that's right as the cache description says micro.
Trying to finish off the last few in the EG-Q series but no luck here. I did find an empty magnetic key lock container on the SW corner of the fence to which I donated a sheet of paper for the log but had confirmation from the CO that this was not the correct container. Seems that this one might have gone missing.

Came out today for some quick park and grab to build up my daily tally to 30
after epic day in the gong. A DNF for me just what I didn't need as the light is fading fast and only a single bar on the phone. I thought I knew what the clue meant but no cigar.

Missed this one on the easy out, grabbed on the way back! A bunny burst out of the bush as I approached and gave me a start!

Everytime I come to the area I have looked for this one, and still I cant find it. I must need new glassses!
Out caching for the day, after having spent the night camping at Cattai National Park, we decided to take on the Ebenezer Geo-Quest.
Last cache for the day before heading back to the campgrounds at Cattai.

Today's in such beautiful weather I took a tour from Wilberforce to Ebenezer and took the ferry across the Hawkesbury back to Tizzana Road. I was able to look at old buildings along the tracks, taking a nice busch walk to enjoy the beautiful view of the river.
This tour was very nice and I have enjoyed myself very much
Thank you

#440 Seventh of twenty two finds on a day's caching around Sackville, Ebenezer and Wilberforce. Nice quick and easy find. TFTC
Having been in the area earlier this week for an event at Tizzana Winery I come back arm with a fully charged phone and new batteries in my GPS. I'm pushing to find 1000 by next Saturday I'm out for a big day. TFTC. Boy this road is busy cars and trucks flying along it disturbing me quick cache hunt. This was a QuickFind in between muggle vehicles.
I headed back up to Ebenzer to try and finish TeamMerlins wonderful series and grab a few others while I could. I went via Wisemans Ferry again to grab a few around there I missed last time.
