### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there South-West,

One or more logs indicate that this cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, so it is being temporarily disabled. This is to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache are investigated/addressed.

Whilst it is recognized that as a result of the current Covid-19 situation, it might not be possible for a Cache Owner to just pop out and check on a cache straight away, we still need to know that you are on top of the issue. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel it is safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame, as long as there is some indication from the CO.

**You do need to respond within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this cache. Please don't let a lack of communication kill this placement.**

#What you should do now:-#
- Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so.

- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a 'Write Note' log indicating an expected date when you you hope you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
**The Write Note log should be placed within 14 days.**

#Please Note#
When a Reviewer next looks in on this cache, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, the Reviewer will assume the cache has been abandoned and process accordingly.

A stop for a break on our way to Mt Gambier. [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) and I stretched our legs and had a look for the cache which was located fairly quickly. Log signed and returned. TFTC

Found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). We stopped for a short break and decided to go for this one. There were a pair of muggles in a car parked nearby but most of our searching was out of their field of view. Soon we had CIH, log signed and all replaced and we continued on our way to Mt Gambier. TFTC.

Heading home from Portland, I picked a small number of caches to break my journey. This could have been a slow find, but fortunately, I found it quite quickly. Doubly fortunate as the maintenance men for the nearby toilets appeared soon after replacing the cache.

My thanks to Marly8120 for the cache.

Took a while but mostly because I was waiting on geohubby to cram his fingers into places I didn’t want to

A 5 day caching run, over the 2020/2021 New year period saw me leave on the Thursday the 31st of December and travel to the Brisbane Ranges, down to Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Portland, the up to Heywood, Dunkfield and Horsham, camping along the way. On the Saturday I met up with my caching partner, ilukaperi at the home of choocknchunk, where we spread the coronavirus around as much as we could. Enjoyed some 4wding around the Mt Cole area before making our way back home on the Monday.

So I spent New Year’s Eve by myself on the shores of Lake Elingamite, sipping on a glass (or plastic cup) of red wine and watching the sunset on 2020. Good riddance I say! I got up early and cached my way from there, through Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland before finding my camp for the night at Annya Camp. A lot of variety of cache types and some good ground covered too.

Stopped off for a rest, as the cache name indicates I should. There were some others parked here too, but no one using the undercover area so I hunted in peace, found the cache easily, signed and replaced. TFTC!

On our first break away since lockdown eased for Regional vic. Making the most of Geelong cup and grand final long weekend. This took us a while. Then my Muggle Fisher Hubby got his favorite tool out and started to poke in all the holes to save me from getting freaked out by all the spider webs. We soon found the sneaky cache. It is were you would think it would be.TFTC

I found this cache on a trip from Adelaide with FeatherWaite for a few days of caching in south-western Victoria/south-eastern South Australia.

We had some specific areas and caches that we were targeting, but also took the opportunity to find a few other caches along the way.

After spending the night camped near the beach just outside Warrnambool, we headed back into town early in the morning to find some caches before then heading towards Portland.

We found this one on the ground.

Thanks South-West for the cache.

Found during a caching trip with e.gregory1 to south-western Victoria and south-eastern South Australia for a few days. Day 1 saw us travel from Adelaide to Keith, the back-roads past Bordertown to Frances, Edenhope, Harrow, Coleraine, Wannan, Hamilton, Byaduk, Koroit and down to Warrnambool. That night we camped out behind the coastal dunes west of Warrnambool after collecting a sprinkling of local caches. On day 2 we returned to find a few caches around Tower Hill before heading through Port Fairy to Portland, spending the rest of an unpleasantly hot and windy day around Portland and camping out nearby. On day 3 we drove from Portland to Nelson with a detour to Dartmoor, then back to Ewen Ponds, Port MacDonnell, and a circuitous route up to Mt Gambier with a solid days' caching culminating in some rewarding finds around the Blue and Green Lakes. We were very lucky to locate a very pleasant campsite a few kilometres out of town in Xanthorrhoea (grass tree) mixed eucalypt woodland for the night. The final day saw us travel to Millicent to complete the SFE Challenge series, then to Kingston, Salt Creek, Meningie, Tailem Bend, Murray Bridge and return back home. All in all a very eventful and fruitful trip with some great cache finds, some easy drive-bys, challenging tree climbs, a number of strenuous walks and visits to many scenic locations. We found an assortment of traditionals, puzzles, multis, earthcaches and virtuals, including a rewarding first-to-find, a wide range of difficulty-terrain combinations and detours to locate some unloved caches.
Thanks for the cache Marly8120!

16/12/19 1:19 pm Find #2936
NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, membsec and I were on a grand adventure along the Great Ocean Road, a trip that has been planned for us for a year.
We were passing through and decided to stop quickly for this cache.
There were a couple of tradies here, one using the facilities, who left pretty quickly, and another who was just chilling in his vehicle. Jokes made about how to distract him while the search took place, then a quick find and a read of the other “muggle logs” on the structure. Particularly noteworthy were the visits from Osama Bin Laden and George W. Bush. Log signed as QQ for all of us (NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, membsec and I).
Thanks for the cache Marly8120.

16-Dec-19
We are on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide on the Great Ocean Road (GOR). Membsec from Tassie, Nyssaflutterby, 1MinnieMoo and Wombles and Co all from Queensland. We met at the airport, late due to Jetstar’s strike (4 hours delayed for the Queenslanders) and then hit the road. We have a good selection of caches that we really want to get, so many in a short amount of time.

Day3

We signed the log book as QQ to save time and space. We could see this one but there was a car muggle just sitting in his car so we had to start reading all the info written on the wall to entertain us while waiting for the muggle to look away!

I had been tracking my progress on finding a cache in each Local Government Area in Victoria. I had four missing out to the south west so had planned a road trip for some time. After leaving early on a Sunday morning and a taxing drive though foggy conditions west of Geelong I found my first. Then it was the long journey home with several others planned along the way. This was my second stop and all clear as I pulled off the main road to take a look. Just as well as it took me quite a while here to spot this tricky one. After checking numerous possibilities I finally managed to spot it and get it back in pace as another car turned up to use the facilities. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Marly8120. After Glenelg Shire this cache ticked off Moyne and I continued east to Warnambool for my next target.
