As with others this cache appears to not be there. Now that there is seven DNF's on this cache it really needs to be archived
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Think this one maybe should be archived as it closed off with barriers which look like they may become permanent. Didn’t bother stopping.
My first attempt at geocaching. I was hoping I would finally find some meaning in life. It's not here, just like my purpose in life.
Rest area is currently closed. We parked nearby and walked in. Quick find. TFTC
Back in the area today visiting family I decide to stop here and have another go at this cache. With good conditions this one took no time at all to find.
Thanks

Got to the car park, and found a hippy van was setting up a cooker to have breakfast.
lucky they were face the other way, But I still Had to wait for another car to move on.
So I finish of my cuppa before find the cache.
On holiday working my way up the coast.
Thank you for the hide team_kaos

First chance to stop here as it is always muggle central. Nice quick find and only could write over the top of someone else in the log as it is very full. Thanks CO and TFTC
Muggle plus muggle's barking dog patrolling the area put us off. We have a feeling we know where it is but we were unable to have a good look. Sad face.
With somebody sleeing in a tiny tent just next to the cache we needrd to be very quiet. The cache was found and signed very quickly. TFTC
The log is full and needs to be replaced.

Found by geogirl! Log book full so wrote over faded space # 26. TFTC
Was time for the LONGGGG drive home, and Geocaching along the way just makes it that much longer. Normally from the GC to CBR is a 12 hour drive, well I did it in just over 21hrs.....
I targeted a number of Earthcaches along the way, and did a loop in Byron Bay. The weather was not so pleasent today however it was worth it. Seen some lovely scenery and even drove the Tweed Coast.
Left Gold Coast at 7am Tuesday morning and got home to Canaberra just after 5am, long day/night.
Another quick find on my loop around
Thanks for the cache team_kaos [^]

We had no luck here today, the light was all but gone and after checking the obvious spots and finding a magnet we had to go with no find to our name.
Log is definitely full. Good spot tho. photo evidence of find attached. TFTC
Whilst passing through on the way to Lismore I stopped in here for a quick rest. I was wandering about when I remembered that there was a cache here. I quickly whipped out the phone and got the app working. What do you know? I'm already there. within moments I had the cache in hand. The log scroll is chockers, though I signed in a small space I found above spot number 7.
cheers for that team kaos, no stress at all and always good to get a bonus smiley for something you are already doing.
I should add that I found this cache on the date logged but am only now catching up on logs. This rest area is as of last week closed for works, and it looks as though it is no small job. It is all barricaded up with big signs advising drivers that the stop is closed and to drive on. Accessing ground zero is not possible.
The log would not be complete without mentioning the bananas aquired at the road side stall located 200m before to the rest stop. They were cheap and bloody delicious. Mandarin quality was top notch also. 5 stars.
TL;DR: nice easy find, thanks team kaos. log is full. GZ currently inaccessible. bananas eaten.

Found it! Just about to quit. No room to write on the log, but its definitely still here
After some concerted walking then caching by car it was time to stop for a cuppa and what better place than this.
And to collect a cache too.
Couldn't believe how close we were to it when we began looking!

Funny the gps took us to about 15cm from the cache so we naturally ignored that and looked further afield before finally finding the cache. Whose a dumb dumb this time. Thanks for the cache. sl tnln
A few alternate possibilities when at GZ - we eliminated as we searched and finally came up with the goods.
TF the tricky cache tk.

Found whilst on a Road Trip with Chip and Juno from home (Wollongong) to Chip's Mum's home (Mullumbimby).
Back after an afternoon of caching. No one in sight this time, and a quick find was made.

Sad to be defeated. 4 of us searched everywhere for ages... but no luck. Maybe it has been muggled indeed.
Holidaying in the area and went out with my grandchildren to find this one but looked everywhere and couldn't find it. It might need checking. Cheers
We looked everywhere possible. We had to admit defeat. And everyone else said it was easy! Maybe it's been muggled.
Arrived at this one and followed the GPS which kept pointing to the occupied shelter, tried a few other locations and was about to give up, but Ms Wig insisted I just wait a bit longer.... sure enough the couple soon moved on and we swooped in for an easy find!!
Thanks team kaos

Found at 1003 on the way down to Coffs Harbour for a weeks holiday and geocaching of cause. TFTC.
Blacklegend & I were heading down to Grafton for a purchase that he needed to make locally there and he wanted some company so I had jumped at the chance!!!
There were still some good caches close to the highway that I hadn't done and BL hadn't done many at all so we would be making more stops for him to pick up ones but I was just looking forward to the trip.
We almost drove past this one but were able to come back in on the exit.
We started our search in the wrong spot but after we checked the GPS again we adjusted our possition and came up with the prize quickly.
Thanks Team Kaos TFTC SL

Found it, not quite where the GPS pointed but there's 1 of 2 choices really!

No luck today we had a look but the gps pointed from one metal sign to the next so that was no good. It finally pointed to one sign with wire that I thought might have held it as in other caches but again no go. Maybe next time...

Heading south, into remote NSW, for a couple of weeks so what better way to break the monotony of the trip than find a few caches along the way?
A quick find while taking a short rest despite a dozen or so truckie muggles nearby!
Signed & replaced as found.

Finally got to the spot with no muggles around so was an easy find, sign the log and on our way after a busy day out. TFTC
Muggles sitting in a car right nearby. Tried to outsit them but gave up and got out of the car and did a walk and stretch after a long long trip routine. Turned out the muggles were feeding a baby. Managed to grab the container with upmost stealth. Getting the log out was a little tricky but managed eventually. Signed the log and then walked around some more as I was rolling it back up in my fingers. Used my body to block the replacement movement. Then on my way home again.
Great spot for a cache and a nice quick find.

Found during my first roadtrip to the Gold Coast and Brisbane. The original intention was to go run the Gold Coast marathon, but that was soon changed en-route - it became a 2-week 5000km geocaching roadtrip !
Now heading back south homewardbound I took a short break here.
I was lucky to make the find quickly - could have taken a while.
Thanks for the cache, team kaos, and for providing an extra incentive to stop here.

On a geocaching road trip to Coffs Harbour from Brisbane on a unloved cache mission. With a Dozen both ways north and south planned this one was picked up along the way. TFTCSL
Took a road trip with Forbiddenground, travelling from Brissy with 2 specific goals. An Unloved cache past Coffs Harbour and the Hwy park & grabs on the way. A great trip with many great caches along the way. Would like to thank the CO's for placing their hides & keeping the game alive.

Cool and bleak today at the rest area. At least it kept the visitors away.

Heading down to Lismore we stopped here for this cache. Two lovely girls from Bolzano in Italy were preparing their lunch and dinner at GZ. They are spending a year travelling around Australia. We had a great chat to them and told them all about geocaching. We gave them a business card with geocaching details as they were quite interested. We found the cache and signed the log while explaining the process to them. They were delighted with this very small cache. Thanks team kaos for this smilie [^][^]
Quick find on our way past today. Quiet at the rest stop so easy to have a look around. Tftc
Heading for home after a lovely weekend in the area, but of course.... just one more Dabom81 and myself pulled up in Spangle, and off we went to find the cache. While I was busy looking in one spot dabom81 managed to spy the beasty. Woohoo! We left our scribble on the logbook and then replaced the cache as it had been found.

I was told that I would be going to see my grandparents today, and not having the chance to get this far south very often I had another look to see if there were any other caches on our way, and what do you know! A fairly new one on our path! So on the way down to see the grandparents, and I managed to convince GeoDad to pull over for this one. On the way in there was another car ahead of us, could we be following other cachers? Nope, just someone needing the bathroom! We got out and set off to find it. I had walked straight past it and was headed for what I thought was a probable hiding spot, but before I got there GeoSister, "Sezzz, I think I found something". That was fast! She's got an eye for these things! We signed it off and showed it to my Muggle Uncle (Congrats it was his very first cache), and GeoSister wanted to show GeoDad, so we quickly did that. Good timing too as the Muggles had just finished with the bathroom and were heading off leaving us to replace the cache. TFTC! We always pass this rest area but have never stopped. GeoDad thanks you also! As we pulled out I noticed a give way sign that would have been a good place for Traffic Control No: 3! - In all the excitement I actually forgot to put a date when I signed the log! Sorry!
Find No: 4457. Visiting from Newcastle, on the way home after the Mega at Stanthorpe, staying at Brooklet for a 40th birthday celebration, love the area, TFTC team_kaos!!
cache find #3093. Stopped by to try and find this cache yesterday, but far too many muggles about to even try to attempt the find. Back today and the cache was quickly located. TFTC.
GPS wanted us in a different spot but ratings told us it had to be here, after the muggles left it was an easy find for me, log signed and we were gone. TFTC
Out and about today heading to Lismore.
A short detour off of the highway to find this cache.
A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.
