Hi there mooandroo.
This is the 5th of 6 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

Hi there Reviewer,
RE: The cache "high on parkes"
I'm following up on the "Needs Maintenance" log from October 2017.
13 DNF logs and one NM since September 2016 & there has been no action by the CO (who doesn't appear to be particularly active in the area).
Regards
Ian & Penny

Last day on the road with LuckyL10n as we head for home after our road trip to Alice Springs and Darwin. No go for us at this one, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
Thanks anyway......
Thanks anyway......
First stop after our overnighter in Parkes, but sadly came up empty handed here although we did enjoyb the view.....
Alice trip 2017. Day 29. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I finished our trip home with the drive from Parkes to Canberra. We did find a few caches to do. Another look for me here and another DNF.
Thanks.
Albida
Thanks.

Had another look without any luck. After the last post, we wonder if it still here.
Fairly sure we found the black part of the container that others mentioned but not the part with the log. Fantastic views and place for a cache, just disappointed we didn't get to sign the log. Thanks anyway mooandroo.
Found by Mary & David at 1100. What a beautiful place. The poignant silence of the memorial was only broken by the currawong Chorale. How special to have wattle, hardenbergia and those glorious grevilleas flowering in close proximity. Another FP! Our thanks to mooandroo.
Parked in a street below the tower and walked up the steps to get to GZ on this lovely sunny morning.
Took us a short while to find this well hidden cache - signed the new log book that was slightly damp. Replaced the cache and removed some trash in that area and placed it in the bin not far away. Good views from GZ and area around the Memorial tower. The grevillias in the garden are in full bloom and do look beautiful at present - it is obviously a good spot for them to grown so well.
TFTC mooandroo and for bringing us here to visit this interesting memorial, the gardens and see the views

We came up here mainly to see the view of the town and not really expecting to find any cache - especially after the comment by pavacado in January. Another one that is not there - that's 2 in a row!
Hate to have to post this, but I came by today to show some non-cachers (having found it a few weeks ago) and it's missing again upsetting considering not only how recently someone found it but also how recently it was replaced. Spent a few minutes looking for signs of it, but no luck
used to go geocaching with my dad and then moved out and on kinda forgot all about it but was up at memorial hill and something caught my eye it couldn't be a geocache could it?????
omg it so we took the roo and left a die cant wait to find more now that we have our 4x4...

Searched and searched twice and could not find. I did however find some broken materials but not sure if they were the cache... May have just had one of those blind days! Thanks anyway
Miss J (first time cacher) spotted the find first as it sort of of blended, but at the same time was sort of out of place. Replaced a bear with a roo. TFTC
Finally!! We'd been three times before and no luck, but turns out it wasn't there the times we went. Immediately spotted it this time, what clever camo - tftc!
Really enjoyed the view but sadly no smiley face today for me. Will come back when I have more time!
Returned for a second time and found instantly log is wet so may need replacing.
Thanks for bringing me to this spot!
Thanks for bringing me to this spot!
Thanks mooandroo. I had a lovely walk from our motel to the memorial. I was lucky to find the cache just before muggles arrived. The cache was a bit tricky to find. Very clever.
last cache for the day, been up here before for a cache, man that was a while ago, thanx for bring us back, cache found in seconds, cheers
What a beautiful place in the early morning light with the sun coming up behind the memorial. A great place for a cache - thanks for bringing us here.
Wonderful views over Parkes and a majestic memorial. You certainly chose a great place for your cache and we also admired your creative container. TFTC
Well this one was hard, took almost an hour to find, keep looking, don't give up, it is here, container was empty but I have put paper in with a note, thank you
Hmm unlucky with this one this time, will be back in the near future
I found what I thought would be the cache location but no luck.

After a shopping trip down on 'The Strip', I shuffled me way up to a familiar spot at the top of the towne !!
I passed by Gracelands on the way
Well that's new !! [:o]
Will it become an Ikon of Parkes, like 'The Dish' ?
At the top of the towne, I poked around a familiar place for any sign of a cache.
It wasn't long before I found it
Hmmm !! Might be easier at night !!
But the place is out of bounds then ??
TFTC, and great views over towne.
I got no mud at all on me blue suede shoes today [^]
..... "If" has left the building !!
Thank you very much for the cache

Found under the cover of darkness. It was easy for me as josh has an identical hide in Bathurst. I really enjoy this hide and will fav it as it isn't one u come across everyday. Black end bit is missing and log was damp but still writable. i searched for awhile for the end plug thing but couldnt uncover its whereabouts. i find that the log goes better in the top part in plastic satchel. TFTC !

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Mr Felix headed out to explore Parkes in the late morning before returning to collect Mrs Felix before we headed out to visit Cookamidgera.
Well didn't this take forever to find. Found only after reading the logs showing the CORRECT co-ords.

Nice cache with a great view, but why not alter the co-ords to the corrected ones. You had us running around Parks like headless chooks.
Make sure you head to the coordinates in the owner maintenance log - the cache listing isn't updated (yet). The co-ords are however spot on. We made our find after a short search when the hide revealed itself. Nicely done. Thanks mooandroo.
