TFTC, rough but dry road in, pretty much a 4WD dirt track. Camping at Point closed for a month, so parked at river and walked to the cache and Point. Beautiful sunny day, view spectacular. Cache in good order. fav point
Easy find, stopped off here on the way up north. @bia4x4 on insta or youtube if you want to follow along on my adventures
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa
Staying at Notch Point for a few nights and it’s absolutely beautiful.
We had a good look for the cache the other day and we were concerned when we saw the recent DNF’s.
We located the hidey hole but it was empty.
The original cache was in a fabulous location and it’s been there quite a while.
Luckily, in my caching kit I had a container that matched the description of the cache, including the coloured lid mentioned in other logs!
I reached out to the CO and said I’d make a replacement to ensure this cache remains active.
All good to go now !

Ocw the Bebes. What a great camp ground. Replaced the cache as per The Bebes log. Tftc
Partner wasn’t playing the “let’s turn every rock over” game yesterday morning. Beautiful spot for a cache
Sorry I searched high & low with many suitable hide holes. I spent a half hour turning everything over I could but no notches for me today. Thanks for bringing us to this awesome spot though. TFTC
I have found myself with great pleasure to have found your cache. I congratulate u on a fine hinding spot
Found on a too short visit to this lovely spot. Took one TB, left another in its place. Very peaceful here, and the cache was a bonus. Thanks for putting it here. Cache #541 for us.
Extremely windy today. Nearly got blown away. Spent the night as this great camping spot. TFTC.
Easy find, a bit prickly though

We just stoped by for a night after a two months trip around QLD.

Found a bit too easy so hid a bit better. Camped here for 3 nights, very busy but beautiful location. TFTC
An early walk this morning but not quite early enough as someone else had already signed the log before me. Sorry we missed you.
It is much windier today but the sun is still shining and the ocean is a brilliant blue. Thank goodness for this cache or we would have needed to drive out so that I could keep my streak going. I didn't think that I would ever be able to do a 365 day streak but maybe I can this time. This is day 193 and my 10877th find. TFTC cache me up. An FP for keeping my streak going.

What a beautiful piece of paradise hidden here at Notch’s Point. Views are to die for. So glad we got to find this cache.

Exploring the area we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
We enjoyed the journey to this cache bringing us to an area we have not visited before and adding to our favourites. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Wer hätte das gedacht .Danke das du uns zu diesem Ort geführt hast Bettina, Fenzy 99
Had to navigate through some wary cows lol. I think I was the scaredy cat. Thanks for the exercise .

On our way to Barcaldine for QOGM 2018 and Caching our way there. Met up with RoddyC and Mrs RoddyC in Rockhampton on Monday and have been heading North slowly before turning west.
Stayed in Carmilla last night and today we head back towards Rockhampton a little bit and started the day at Clareview. A big day and had to back track about 100 kilometers cue to the Sarina Range being closed. So have to go to Nebo the long way via Mackay as RoddyC could not get autogas in Sarina. Oh well, those are the breaks. Tonight we are staying in Moranbah and tomorrow on towards Clermont via a very tour of the coal fields towns.
This was a quick easy find. I really enjoyed the drive out here and the terrain. A lot of campers around at the point. A favourite point from me for the wonderful location. Had one deepish water hole to cross but more wide than deep.

Went for an afternoon stroll to find this.

Yet another great place, I could even get the caravan in here. Not many campers here this afternoon. the tide must be almost at its highest now. I am envious that we are not camping, maybe another time I can talk the kids into meeting us here for a weekend.
Easy find on the cache, log signed we left a Pathtag (I think), might be wrong.
Toured around the area and then headed back.

with a RDO today, time for a drive
and seeing that Temengi blew through town, and left this one unaddressed
headed out here first for a look.
Not my first time out here
and another spot where once upon a time, there was a cache here too
used to be a two stage multi, with the first hide near the gate.
well I got out near GZ, and wasn't expecting so many people already
the nomads were in, and guessing with the long weekend
there will be a few more by later on today
the road in is pretty good at the moment
there was even a few sedans in here
I parked down the bottom near the beach, and wandered up the small hill,
and found without too much difficulty (and hidden from direct line of sight of most of the campers) [^]
bit of a reach, but got it
took the FTF and the TB, so ... in terms of notches ...
#1614 logged find (not including all those finds I didn't log back in 2012 )
#101st FTF (its taken me nearly ten years )
and grabbing the TB has given me my 689th trackable or 303rd Grounspeak TB tag
top spot, and gets a favourite for that [^]
signed log, and left a number of plastic toys, as it was going to end up a bit bare after my visit
thanks for the cache
cheers
