After a lovely dinner at the blackbutt pub last night and a peaceful nights sleep it was an early morning start today to score a few caches before work begins. My target to day is to get to 100 caches in the south Burnett LGA to get one step closer to a challenge cache Im focusing on in Brisbane.Upon arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and made my way to ground zero. It didnt take long until I had located ground zero and I soon had the log out and was making my mark for prosperity. Safely returning the cache to its hiding place I was soon back in the van and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
This a mission. Struggled with treefall branches.... moved out of the way and recovered cache. Full of water. no paper to sign so scribbled on a leaf .... per photo
Caching and volunteering at parkrun at the same time. Multi-tasking at its best.

Out doing parkrun today and chanced upon a few caches.
What a year Sandyofthesea and I have had. We kitted out the Prado and took off from Perth, Western Australia at the start of April 2022 to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. We started with the Nullabour, Eyre and York Peninsulas, the Riverlands, visited family in Victoria and then back in SA it got cold. Flinders and the Oodnadatta Track was cold and we finally warmed up in Dalhousie Springs. The Alice beckoned and then change of plan and ended up tackling the Tanami Track to the Kimberley and Bungles Bungles. Territory Day in Darwin was unhinged - please try and do it! The Gulf, the coast and the car breaker ‘Old Tele Track’ to the top of Cape York. This is a must but it’s not easy! Eventually made it to Brisbane to get some fixes to the car….. let’s see where we end up.
Purple_Ninja_00, I found Nanango's Circuit: 3 today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Found whilst on a very non direct route to QOGM - Charleville 2022. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Purple_Ninja_00

Out with Bris, & the M& her Cubs, our intent is to wrestle a for the September Challenge. After checked what was available to us (more so me) we made plans and today we all started once again at sparrows to commence a long day racing about like crazy cachers.
We’re all here to start a 6 cache frenzy on this series. The ground is a little wet under foot and most containers have seen better days. In fact anyone planning ahead & coming here, could help the longevity of these ones by replacing the containers. … JUST A THOUGHT!!!

Although there was still plenty of caching to be done in Kilkivan it was time to move on as we work our way home. Today it was to Nanango, not long drive but quite interesting through the rolling hills. We cached on the way again but were more restricted on the busier road with a van in tow. We bypassed a number we were not comfortable pulling up for.
On arrival at Nanango we set up camp and then after lunch at a bakery in town took the bikes of the back and rode the bike loop caching as we went. A great way to see some of the town on cooler day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Purple_Ninja_00.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.
Day 12 - Staying in Nanango for a few days to catch up with family and while the car windscreen was being replaced, we headed out with the muggle sister to find a few caches in the area and pick up some hot drinks from a local café.
The recovering half of the team decided to take this walk on while the other half went with her sister to the other end to meet her there.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise mentioned.
Thanks to all the CO’s for the placements and keeping this hobby alive.

Mrs Wombles and I were caching in the area today, and decided to complete this trail while we both had the option of some company for the walk. It was a pleasant walk along the track; all caches were found although disappointingly only 2 had the clues we needed in them and several were quite damaged. We completed the series and fortunately we were able to PAF at the end (thankuou) to get the numbers for the final. All in all a nice walk but the caches need maintenance if the circuit is to stay in play. Thanks for the stroll Purple_Ninja_00
Stortigirls and I decided to do this trail of caches, we'd both seen it on the map before but hadn't done the walk.
We wandered along and found all 6 of the caches, saw a white wallaby or Kangaroo and a flock of apostle birds.
It's a shame the clues are missing from some of the caches and some of the containers need replacing as this is a nice walk along the track. We passed a couple of other people out walking.

Heading up to Kilkivan to attend the annual event, which we've become quite find of over the last few years.
Instead of taking the boring highway route, we're heading out through Nanango and stopping here and there to make some finds along the way of ones we've missed previously or that have been published since our last visit.

Had a fab adventure with Ms Maddy today and over the last few days in her efforts to reach a special milestone at the mega. Much appreciated was the hospitality of YOF and his lovely wife at the end of the day. Out this way we found some very durable caches, a small fluffy animal, some swans, cows, dogs, awesome views and rolling fields, surprisingly a lot of cars heading out on their own adventures, the best bakeries in the country ofcourse and a whole lot of laughter. I am not sure how many we picked up but it was over 50. I really appreciated the work put into the large number of caches at Nanango. I am sorry about the generic logs. and a huge Tftc purple ninja
The marathon caching run continues and lucky to have Miss Direction’s company for this adventure. There were new places to explore and took pics of black swans and cattle, startled a small furry critter at a cache, ran to some, stumbled to others, drank coffee, peered under and over and around things, scored a few itchy bites, and replaced a couple of missing hides. A fab day out Apols for the generic logs as a few to log tonight.

Crew 153 and I had big plans to try and get 100 caches in a day today.
However, Crew 153's Ford Falcon had other ideas and brought us to a screeching halt at cache number 50 by blowing its fuel pump.
We were both calm and collected about it. We still got 50 caches. Car got safely towed to Kilcoy. Mr Slow Puncture came and rescued us.. and there are still more than enough caches out there for us to try again. There ends my "cut and paste" part of the log
We moved onto this one.. when I heard the dreaded "ding".. a work email I signed the log, collected the clue, and we moved on. I called the customer to sort whatever the boggle was. TFTC Purple_Ninja_00

Fangsoki and I had picked this area for a day of caching to find caches for the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs and after an early start I finally finished the day with a total of 53 finds when we struck engine trouble and had to abort the mission.
This cache was find number 22 for the day.
Fangsoki was "On Call" today and a customer picked this moment to find for help. He chatted to the customer while hunting and soon had it found. A quick find at this one. Clue recovered.

Pleasantly surprised at the number of caches here at Nanango. All good and thanks
When the bikes were first pulled out of the car Mr 4ando noticed Mrs 4ando had a brake issue, cool does that mean a new bike??? The back breaks were damaged and not working, so now the poor geo-bike has a broken bell, reflectors missing and no back brakes, it has had a hard life.
No use crying over back brakes not working when the front ones are working, how many sets do you really need any way. We kept rolling on down the bike path until we heard the magical ‘deliinnggg’ to notify we were close.
We signed our name and took the clue. We may have taken water with us, but in this heat it has been sucked dry. No worries, we found the perfect spot to refill our bottles…

In Nanango for a day or so geocaching with Selva Girls. There were quite a few green dots [^] we wanted to turn into yellow smileys.
Deciding that this circuit should be done in the morning, we organised cars to avoid doubling back and set off on this great track, (yes, when will it be made into a road). Quick and easy find avoding Muggles.

We will be leaving very soon to attend the Red Centre Experience Event being held in Alice Springs and have decided we would try to make that event a milestone ... the only problem is we are a few hundred caches short This was the perfect excuse for a quick road trip through Nanango/Murgon/Kingaroy The weather was a little rainy, but surprisingly we remained relatively dry during the day with the worst of the rain occurring while we camped overnight [^]
We managed to locate this cache easily and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our journey.

When we cache by bike we have the old Garmin set up on the handlebars of the bike and an ETrek in our pocket in case we need it. Think the only time we used the ETrek in this series was for number 1 which was a bit further away from the track than the others.
Just pushed this one a little further under than it was when we found it. Thanks.

Headed up to Nanango for a couple of days to clear a few more green spots & maybe one or two blue/orange ones while we're here. LOL ...
7 of 34 found today.
Spent a few minutes extra looking for this cache.
Great place for a cache & a hot weather search in definite snake country! LOL ... NOT!
I had a good idea where it was gonna be but so many holes (entrances & exits for what?) that I wasn't keen on sticking my hands in.
Finally settled on the most likely spot & bingo!
