Not sure where it is. T positioned branch in tree is infested with ants if it is location.
A short trip into Gippsland with the deadly treadly for some caches.I started in Traralgon on the TCT trail, then onto the TST trail. It was a lovely ride along this unexpected trail.Located most of the caches, but dipped out on a few. Thanks for the series, Robmc.
Out with Supaseeker and Shumba7 on the geoscooter, geoeuc and geoelectric bicycle. TFTC.
TFTC took out a newbie and got his first caches, supa seeker was on his pedal assist bicycle, Algae on his electric unicycle and me on my new electric scooter, we smashed out the series except 2 we wouldn’t find. Great morning out:-) ️
Gave up on this one. Will come back on a less windy day when the gps doesn’t go crazy & I’m standing still
Seemed exposed? Snugged it in some more
So today I had to take our camper trailer to Traralgon to get bike racks fitted before our trip away. A trip somewhere different equals geocache search in the area and discovered several options but chose the Traralgon South Trail. Off I went on my bike "Olive" who is a gravel bike and coped well with this track bar the last couple of geocaches in this series so we just walked a little. Great track and a comfortable distance. However couldn't believe how busy this road is - made it difficult at times to pick a free moment to retrieve and return cache. Loved the variation of caches and the joy of cruising on my bike. Thanks for setting up a really enjoyable geocaching experience valleycaching. I really enjoyed my afternoon

Looking at this cache and attachment, we don’t think that this is the intended hide however it was quickly and very easily found so we put it back where we found it.

Coords we’re slightly off and it looks like it was supposed to be hanging somewhere. But besides that we still put it where we found it. Tftc

Disabling until we can check on this after the recent storms and floods.

It had me stumped for a little bit, but found it. Great hint. Thanks Valleycaching. TFTC
The Sun had come out and living in Baw Baw shire we were not locked down so I decided to head out for a day out of the house and a nice walk along the TCT trail, Gippsland has some great locations to visit and lots of caches that have not been found in awhile, so with my new caching gear gloves, sanitizer and mask I ventured out, I had a great time touring around the area finding caches and exploring new places. The description was a little misleading "No need to leave the track to look for this one.", but I looked at the obvious.
Thanks valleycaching for the cache.

Another easy find after reading the obvious discription! Quickly signed and we moved on. Tftc!
Got the family up at 5.30 this morning to head out to Traralgon to do the Parkrun, Parkrun event, some breaky and some local cache. The weather was terrible today, sideways rain and wind with s chill in it. Anyway after breaky I decided would brave some of this trail alone, the fam were happy to sit in the car and play tech. Told them to come find me in an hour, and off I went. Was a nice little trail, and didn’t see a sole! Deeeeer... only one idiot out there today. Thanks for the fun.
Initially dismissing this object, my phone had me about 5 meters away, from where I could see the cache hide.
Marshall’s Geelong found this cache today with LCASS on our Gippsland adventure,
This one was neat! Fits in well.

Thanks for the opportunity to collect so many smiles and have a pleasant walk. The road was very busy on this Easter Monday. TFTC
Passing by on the way to Tarra-Bulga and couldn't resist grabbing a few of the series, most were quick easy finds and a couple took a short search to find

Thought this one was missing for a minute but then walked back and forth and finally found what I was looking for
Camped at Gormandale after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. Eighth for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
All this time, I've been worried about being spotted by the traffic... but now I've found a different type of audience. Does this mean my cover's blown now? TFTC

After exploring some towns along the South Gippsland Highway, we turned north toward Traralgon and decided to pick up the caches in this series before heading home. Some took longer than others but all caches were found by mid to late afternoon after some nice walks. Thanks for the cache, and the series valleycaching.

This one had me looking around for a little while until I finally spotted it when I was looking from the right angle.
Today, I headed down the highway to Traralgon to attend the Parkville event and now that the event is over, it was time to find a few more caches while I was in the area.
I had now headed South to see if I could complete the TST trail on my bike before having to head for home.
There are some tricky hides and some straight forward ones as well and then there were a few that I just could not see at all but I didn't have my correct glasses with me for cache searching which didn't help but in the end I didn't do too bad.
**Thanks to valleycaching for placing this cache.**

1st Yinnar Scouts decided to do a night caching session, so we meet at the car park with 4 Scouts, 1 Cub and leader’s syllies and Shane280, to find some caches along the trail. We looked for 7 caches with touches in the dark and found 5. Thanks for the cache trail.

Having an escape day and spotted this one on the map... tftc had to resort to reading logs. Found it 8 metres from gz
Tftc. Wonder how the support got there in the first place? Being relatively new to this game, what is it about being 8 m from GZ? Being a map maker myself I do expect gz to be correct for all caches, even given the vagaries of satellites. Ive found over a 130 caches now and have found many to be more than 5 m out, some more than 10 and as for Poverty Point bridge: that's 40 m out! So nothing surprises me but should I notify CO of these?
It took a while to find this cache. GPS indicated that GZ was about 8m away from where it was eventually found. I therefore spent far to long searching other possibilities before widening my search according to the hint. careful examination
Something looked amiss on that one ? Turns out it was were it was meant to be
Our day to head out on the TST finally arrived. We organised ourselves by parking at the recommended places and then walking off in either direction to find the caches. It still meant quite a bit of backtracking and involved a lengthy walk, but it was a lovely day to be out in the area. Even saw an echidna, the biggest we have ever ween at the final cache!
We should have brought the deadly treddlies as this would have made the whole process much easier and it was a great day for a ride.
A good variety of hides and some bigger caches gave us the opportunity to drop off a number of Travel Bugs we had collected on our recent travels up north. Hope some other cachers are able to pick them up and move them on their way.
All in all a good, successful day out.

Out for a maintenance run today. Replaced the actual cache container.
A new waterproof log is in place.
Happy hunting.

Our morning mission is to do this trail. Sadly we left the bikes at home so its a good old foot slog. Impressed with the quality and variety of hides on this trail and glad we have enough favourites to do justice to the awesome effort put in. Thanks for delivering a great morning for us. Tfts The log in this one is very fragile now, still signable. Loved the idea and effort Tftc
*Staying in Traralgon for a couple of nights, we have enjoyed riding the trails, placed so close to town. TST - a variety of caches, hidden in a range of locations, a great ride for a couple of seniors - 28/30!*
A FP for the fit here.
**Feedback to CO** This one is calling out for a fresh dry log please.
Thanks valleycaching (F=4 H=30) for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

The log is a little ripped and wet. Haileylouise spotted this as we were walking. TFTC
On this stretch of the the TST, Geochild pulled off a very good find to log this one.
Thanks, Silkyie.
Thanks, Silkyie.
frmen1 and I ran away from home for the weekend with the view to target this road and surrounds. We walked the 14kms (there and back), taking adequate water and food supplies with us. A great day for it. One smartphone had the gz 7m away, the other 5m. Used the hint and a fairly quick find was made. The log is disintegrating. TFTC
We are on our regular Wednesday geocaching trip & today we are attempting to walk the TST both ways discovering all the caches on the way. Thanks to the CO's for setting up this well maintained trail.
We have given a Favourite listing to both the first & last caches in recognition of the trail as well as the odd worthy cache.

It is amazing the things you find while you are caching, and well what can I say except yes it does! It is funny to see things like this.
