No luck here tonight. Gave a very thorough search. I feel the cache is most probably missing.
Didn't find it. I knew where it should be and saw it last time I was there but I couldn't reach it then. This time there was no sign of it.
Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to find this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. This was the 10th of 15 finds for the day.
This was my next cache stop, parking the geomobile on Lindisfarne Crescent, then ducking across the road to the reserve and GZ. Quickly spotted the hide and had CIH. TNLNSL, then replaced as found. Log sheet was a bit damp but still signable. TFTC Old Man Emu.

Found it dislodged from the storm but put it back where we think it would of been
My fifth cache for today as I explore Carlingford on foot.
I spotted this one lying on the floor and replaced where I think it ought to have been.
Being a shortie I needed to jump.

While we were in the area I thought we should do a few more in this series. Drove over from Ambulance Blues and Geoson made a quick find with a boost from me. Log is damp and started to tear as we were signing but we just managed. The log is getting pretty full though. I can't remember seeing the dice but the letters etc were there. TFTC ... now off to find this song to have a listen.
Another day crossed off the list. Lucky for me that there was some natural debris laying around as I left my tools in the car TFTC

A great day to take the motorbike out of the garage and for a ride around North Rocks. This was my second find for the day. Again, it was in the second place I looked. Almost out of reach. Log is soaked but the felt tip pen never lets me down.

Came all the way to north Sydney today to do some caching in a unknown area for me. Ended up doing some stuff of my wishlist and a lot of fun caches. Thanks for putting out all the caches and I surely will be back.

Time for a nice drive around the area doing some park & grabs. Log soaking wet. I had no spare logs with me. TFTC
Very quick & clever find.

3rd find for the day. We walked here from Northrocks park. Great walk with kids. TFTC.
Fantastic find... Very clever hiding .. Was a challenge to put it up for short people
Out with JJCC for a cache run in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going. This was our nineth and last of nine caches found today.
After finding the COs caches Country Girl, Piece of Crap and Without Rings, we contained along Lindisfarne Crescent and parked several metres from GZ. Noticing the structure at GZ we basically walked straight up without the GPSr and made a very quick find. With the cache safely in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition.
TNLN.
Eight TBs visited - Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Frogger, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Stuart geoMinion, Vanlith The Youngling.

Out with Team Merlin to find our daily cache.
Looking for a cache called Rockin' In The Free World we moved the car and parked close by and walked to GZ. We made a quick find. With the cache in hand, we both signed the log and returned as found. Both the log and cache container are in good condition. This cache was our ninth of nine caches found today.

Grabbed this cache on he way home from work to keep my daily steak running. Only need a 1 more to hit #400 it will be a earth cache. TFTC.
Today's geo-outing with Mumma-Kel brought us down the M1 to the North Rocks, an area that we found out is home to a cluster of Old Man Emu caches and Neil Young song lyrics.
And they never seemed to stop! This one, Mumma-Kel had done previously, so while I went in search of the cache, she stayed in the air conditioned comfort of the geo-mazda plotting where we would head next. She didn't have much time for planning though, as I made the find in the first place I looked and was back in the car in just a minute or two. Thanks for this park'n'grab Old Man Emu, and for the smiley.

A quick find, and we could also sign the log which we think is a requirement for logging a find.
After lunch with friends, i did a Neil Young North Rocks tour. Young he is no more but the music lives!

The container was on the ground and covered with grass. We put it back up similar to Without Rings, but I don't think it will stay up there for long...

Found. But log not signed. Could not retrieve even with tools. Will contact owner. Next time I take stilts.
We found traces of the log shredded on the ground. It looks like it had fallen and when council mowed they didn't see it...
Found it but unfortunately the paper had been shredded and could not locate the container in designated coordinates... Assuming mowing of grounds occurred recently?! Cheers
As mentioned below log is full. Might also want to check that I put it in the correct place.
I found this just lying on the grass almost immediately as I approached GZ. Took a long time to get it open but I got there eventually. Guessing that it's not supposed to be on the ground, I replaced it where it looked like it belonged (I consulted hint to make sure). The log is also full, signed in a blank space along the side. Thanks.
Another one where caching aid # 1 was needed to retrieve the cache.
The cache wasn't very securely placed but I put it back exactly as found. I couldn't really see any other way to put it.

An unusual but effective container which resisted opening quickly but yielded to slow release with a distinct 'pop', Thanks Old Man Emu.
#3148- we continued on from Cortez the killer, back to this one on the way back to the car. Another nice easy one in the area to make our trip out here a bit more worthwhile today. Thanks.
This was the third cache we found in this area while taking a short walk. We passed it to get the outlier cache and then grabbed this one on our return journey to the car. Thanks
Reperio at 0935..
Came down from Newcastle today to attend the Geocaching NSW AGM event nearby, and as traffic was very kind, I ended up having a bit of time to find a few caches before it started. This was the second quick cache find in succession, although had to be careful as to who was watching.

Geoteam is missing Misfit today, but it seems we needed him for this find as he is our small tree who reaches for everything high

GPS ran out of batteries but I knew there was a cache around here somewhere. Found it in the first place I looked. Interesting container, TFTC!
Where the hell.. ohhhh there you are! Lucky I had DarkAvengerx with me, I picked her up and she grabbed it ha ha ha TFTC
2nd cache for the day, just around the corner from the last one. Quickly spotted though it took longer to get the rather unusual container open. Thanks Old Man Emu.
On a slight detour on my way home from a days work in Parramatta, I headed here from a cache around the corner which helped me greatly here. I left the device in the cd and headed straight for where I knew the cache was but where there as a handy helper in place at the other, this one didn't have anything to help with my height issues - I managed to knock the cache to the ground with my pen.... Cool cache container I've not seen before! - but I wasn't really able to place the cache as I didn't meet the minimum height requirement...I tried, and got it close, but only just. Thanks for the find here Old Man Emu
Our 1st caching as a family. Pretty easy to find. Our 7 and 4 years old got so excited!

And here is one I prepared earlier!
Not much time for a find today due to family commitments, so grabbed one of the new caches near to home I'd left for just such an emergency.
Took a few minutes to make the find as the iPhone was pointing to another likely spot.
Once I correctly identified GZ it was a quick find. I hope that container is what I think it is...
Took away to complete signing duties and took my chances. A 1 and Heads.
I think I WIMPED out of the letter challenge...
Replaced and then on to my next activity of the day.

#592 My kids laughed at me when I bought this tool. "People will think you're old!"..... nevertheless it has come in very handy & today was another day when I needed it.
Interesting camo. I threw a 5 & a W.
Best word - podium.

Quick find in a rather exposed spot. Cache return was tricky. Made a phone call and signed.
Little trail from the previous cache was nice and straight forward and led me right there.
Word I found was PODIUM, number rolled was 3, U.S. coin toss was tails and Fiji coin toss was heads.
Thanks for the cache!

Whilst enjoying an amble along Hunt Creek we picked up a few Old Man Emu caches. This was another quick find.
A suppose for all these caches being a Neil Young fan would help, unfortunately I'm not a fan, so I just used my caching wits, and there it was.
After my dad picked me up from after school care we went to find another one of Old Man Emu's caches.
On the way there I read the logs.
Easy find but I needed help to get the cache and open it.

After finding "Elizabeth Farm Parramatta", I came up to Carlingford/North Rocks to get the latest three of the Neil Young series, starting with this one. After parking I sat in the car to get the clue and work out where I was going to look - oh, the obvious place.
Old Man across the road started walking down his driveway, so I walked past GZ, spotting the cache as I walked down hill. After a while I turned around, saw he was gone and went back up for a quick grab, sign, replace, hiding myself behind the tree as much as I could. "Be The Rain" was next. TFTC.

The park was a real bog after the rain and I spent a while walking around a patch of trees before working out the clue and heading back up to the obvious spot - these caches don't appear to be on natural objects so used that for future reference. Managed to get the cache out and sign then replace.
Thanks!
Thanks!
In pursuit of a souvenir and with a break in the weather, I drove down to North Rocks to attempt some of the new caches in this area. Using the hint, this was a quick find. Nice container.
I tossed a coin and think it came up heads.
Thanks Old Man Emu.
