Cache found floating in a muddy puddle. Log is damp. Uplifted the cache a bit. Thanks.
Out and about with KabbellaQld and Danielle46, signing logs as KTD .wet log quick and easy find TFTC
Another easy find here. Log is wet, but we were able to sign. Saw some skippys here today TFTC!
Out and about with ToucanKB and Danielle46, signing logs as KTD. Fast find here. Well named cache as there were kangaroos everywhere. Tftc
Was a bit scared of the locals at first sight but they stayed their distance. A gorgeous white dog was roaming free, had a play with geodogB before we moved into the next cache. Log is soaked but managed to sign
Out and about travelling and while doing that finding caches along the way. Arrived at GZ and after a short search cache was found. TFTC
Yes - the skippys were out in force mid afternoon guarding this cache from a distance. All good here. Thanks L&B.
First find for the day caching with The X-Trailers. Cache log was wet. There were around half a dozen skippy's in the park..TFTC
Nice one.. lots of roosSigned as The Roos. Here with kiwisteve2 drobbonz and kimmy533 at the Doon Villa SC RV park for a week before heading north.Really enjoying the area.Tftc
Beautiful day to spend outdoors and grabbing caches. This was one of them. Several Roos hanging out near by.TFTC
We had a nice drive around this morning finding some local caches and this is one we found. At GZ I put my hand into a space and picked up something which was covered up only to drop it quickly as it was a toad. The cache was found under where it was resting. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Liz and Bruce for this one.
SKIPPY!!! Found a mob the next tree over from the cache S fell in love with one that had a Joey in its pouch! Great cache tall grass look out. Signed C+S
I was out and about with Ian from Ian and Penny to find some caches in Maryborough today. There were lots of skippys today ... but luckily they were lounging around every other tree, so I was able to get to GZ and retrieve the cache and sign my name. TFTC.
Wow how lovely to see so many roos relaxing in the shade under the trees and on the other side of the road there is a smashing statue of Mary Poppins. TFTC Liz and Bruce
I have come to Hervey Bay to visit family again for a few days and after a drop off of the kids, it was back to Maryborough to catch up with a highschool friend. Unfortunately she wasn't going to be finished work for another few hours. Fortunately I knew exactly how to fill in that time.
The roos were unnerving. I struggle to trust these animals so it was a tough job for me to collect this cache. I did park very close to gz for a quick getaway though.

We’re a bit early for the event at Granville Tavern, so we came to get this cache. 7 skippies here today, but we passed more at The Hub on the way.
We love skippies having 5 wallabies at home around us.

After a big day yesterday hitting Marybourgh hard I spent the night again in the Alan and June Brown car park and woke to a short morning of caching before heading back to Brisbane and the Stones Corner festival.
I started the morning with a few local caches in the Maryborough town centre and worked my way South.
All caches were found quickly and in good condition. Signed and returned to there hiding place. Very glad to turn these caches into smilies and look forward to heading back up this way again to find a heap more.
A big thanks to the cache owners for making these caches available to be found by fellow cachers
Cheers

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
Alyce and I made a spontaneous trip to Maryborough and brought the 4 youngest along for the ride. Our goal for the day was to grab the Brolly that we solved recently, but we forgot to download the list and had no internet when we arrived, so we decided to head into town to clean up some caches instead.
It was an action packed day filled with adventures and fun times. The kiddies enjoyed the experience but grew tired towards the end of the day. All in all we all had a fantastic day exploring Maryborough and the surrounding areas.
Well, now we know why this cache is called what it is because they are everywhere, and they were keeping a close eye on us at all times, luckily we didn’t need to disturb them as GZ wasn’t near them.
We made our way back to the car and spotted two Roos getting up close and rather personal, we had a giggle to ourselves because all the other Roos were watching on, you creeps, how ‘bout a little privacy!
Thanks for bringing us here.

Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz . Plenty of Skippy's taking it easy today . Thanks Liz and Bruce
There were lots of Skippys about today when we visited and they kept a good eye on us as we searched for the cache.
Day 4 & 5 in Maryborough. We thought we would continue to look around town and spend our time caching here. It didn't quite work out as we thought as there were a number of caches in parks and reserves and we ventured wider as well. A good variety of caches and hides all in generally good condition. We had mixed results on a number of tree fishing attempts. Some we just couldn't spot, others we couldn't reach with our fishing pole. Will have to look at some further modifications when we get home! We did manage to get a couple though!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Liz and Bruce.

About 50 skippy’s in attendance today. A favourite point from me. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting & detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Liz and Bruce

Day 3 of our visit to beautiful Maryborough and our plan is to do the inner part of town then work our way around the surrounding areas.
This cache title certainly lives up to its name, we had a real big welcoming party when we arrived near GZ, they were not in the least bit phased by us being there at all. Quick find here, thanks CO.

TFTC. We were on this side of the Mary River after having driven up Beaver Rock Road. As we do not often get here we decided to do the couple that were here.
When we pulled up here we were greeted by a large mob of Roos. They watch as we made our way to GZ to find the cache. Love seeing native wildlife.

10247 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1420. The CO made comment that this area was worth the visit. As we parked you could count 31 roo's in various family clusters. The BIG male was lazing in the grass as the Mrs strolled to GZ. He stood up and in the usual protective stance made sure all his family was aware that there were intruders. Just love how the gathering moves to his direction. We get to see much larger mobs in Mulligans Flat in Canberra but the vision is always enjoyed. SL Tnx Liz and Bruce
After a long day yesterday it was nice to get in a good night sleep and be ready for another long day today.
Today will be spent grabbing a few around town, a drive out to beaver rocks, re visiting a few I had already done and grabbing a helping hand on one I had a DNF on. Then it was back to finish off the trail before a detour outside of Gympie. Yes another long day, but a rewarding one for us all, (us being Willis007, Simber15 and myself).
Around town there were some very interesting caches; a few puzzles, a few trads, a couple of whereigos, some labs and even a few multis. All caches were found in good condition and logs signed with individual names today.
Thank you to all of the CO’s for the placements and the maintaining of these for us all to enjoy. I am guessing I will be back again for some more up here as I did not get to complete everything, lol.
It was a fun day with lots of laughs and some entertaining sights along the way.
Had to scare away a herd of Kangaroos around GZ before we could even look for this one.

Tftc Liz and Bruce, counted 42, but I think I missed a few. Quite nice statue in the front yard here too (Mary Poppins ? )
Back at Maryborough and figured I should pop over here and see if Skippy is about Well, yes, he’s here grazing with around 50 of his close friends Distracted for a bit as Skippy posed for photos. Then skirted around the mob to GZ
Can recommend this geocache to anyone who has visitors and wants to see kangaroos up close and personal. They were not bothered by my presence. ‘Tho as always I respected their privacy and did not wander too close to the mob.
TFTC Liz and Bruce Will upload a couple of pics shortly!

I had a day free to do some caching in Maryborough. This was one of the caches that I found.
The location did not disappoint. The Skippy family was home today. It took me two circles around the hiding spot before I uncovered the cache.

Not a bad find, lovely peaceful location with an abundance of skippies keeping a very watchful eye on us
Maryborough certainly has some very interesting places to visit! On the way to this cache wombles and I passed an odd looking house called the Diggers Cottage Art Illusion museum. If only we had arrived earlier in the day, it would have been great to check that place out.
As we drove closer to this GZ there were a few Roos out and about. Nawww. Then we arrived at this park and were surprised to see just exactly how many there were! Hundreds of the hippity hoppers. Mostly in the paddock next door but still a few not far from where we were standing.
Thanks for the smiley and for sharing this part of the universe with us Liz and Bruce

Our first Australian geocache on my father in law's road. Log not yet signed, as we were out for a run so didn't have a pen but we'll try and pop back.
Thought we'd better get out and find this one now that it's back on line. Most of the skippys were across the fence today, only 3 in the immediate area. We took a photo of Mary Poppins in the near by garden. A quick find.
Many thanks L & B

We spent quite a while looking for this cache whilst keeping an eye on the skippies. No joy for us today but we did spot another Mary Poppins statue and chatted to a neighbour. He said we were looking in the correct spot for the cache and added that he thought the Mary Poppins statue was the original one that had been placed in the Maryborough city centre. It had been replaced with the current bronze statue in recent years. He also suggested that the original sculpture artist had lived in the house near the cache. Well !!!! I never.
