While in the area, I wanted to pick up a few caches to get my numbers up. Arrived near GZ only to find the area still fenced off for construction. No actual construction but there is no way to get to cache location. One good thing is the tree is going to be protected.
CO needs to decide what to do with these caches in this area if construction will be on-going.

I don't know how the last person logged this as a find, as ground zero is 28 meters the other side of a fence with keep out signs all over it [?]
I have no idea how long the work is going to take, but definitely no access to this cache at present!

I can not see a needs maintenance log on this cache,

>If you find a geocache that is in need of some help (e.g. container is cracked, logbook is full or wet), please post a "Needs Maintenance" log on the cache page so the cache owner and the community is notified. This log adds an attribute to the page (looks like a colored cross) to alert other geocachers of the needed repairs. Logging Needs Maintenance does not increase find count. Needs Maintenance logs are not forwarded to reviewers.
and from the [Archive help centre article](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=56)
>Please use this log only when there are serious problems with the cache or its location. Do not use it if the cache needs repairs, or you didn't find it, or the location made you uncomfortable. Please consider first contacting the owner of the geocache with your concerns. Use the profile link next to the cache owner's name at the top of the cache page to send an email, as well as logging to the cache page about your visit.
If you have no response from the cache owner after 30 days then I'd suggest using a Needs Archive Note. Except for in the most extreme cases, it's normally best to give the cache owner a chance to fix the issue before alerting the reviewers.

I wanted to go caching with a friend today and on the way to finding a short stroll 7 and 8 I thought it would be quick.
As we got out of the car we were greeted by a danger and do not enter sign.
Very disappointed:( Such a great hide gone once and for all.
I hope this doesn't happen for the other two caches:(

Sunshine is out but I had limited time to go for a walk today. But wait it's International Geocaching Day! And, to be honest, I'm more than curious about the construction site through here.
Wandered back past Sooty after a short stroll in the wetlands and straight to GZ. Middle of the clump has been lopped. Took me a while to spot the cache safe 'n sound in its hidey hole No sign of the curious resident.

Out with geopartner to find a few caches on the south side.
A nice tricky one which took awhile.
Signed the log and returned to hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks dawesy321 All good with this cache

Last one for the stroll I had a fair idea what I was looking for by now, still went around in circles, felt up a few trees, consulted some prior logs and aha success! Cute colour for a cache
Quick find for geo-boy. We've had a lovely stroll through here, a place we have never been, a beautiful tree we wish we could climb near GZ attached. TFTC
I decided it was about time to stop by and make this little green mark into a smile. I had driven past enough always seeing people in the park or nearby houses, today however all was pretty quite, and I headed over for a look.
I checked quite a few places, however eventually spotted something and sure enough it was just what I was after. A quick sign of the log (which is close to full, maybe 5-10 more spots) and soon replaced and on my way.

While signing he log book I had a guy talk walk up to me and ask what I was doing there. He lives on the house directly across it and he's been wondering why he kept seeing people look at that tree walk around it and then leave. He thought it was weird. So I gave him a little geocache lesson so he knew what we were about. Tftc, log book getting full tho.
Thank goodness this one is now smiling at me. I have been a few times before and always feel the Muggles are all out the front of their houses watching me, they must all be eating dinner or watching the TV tonight. TFTC
Out for an afternoon of caching with stortigirls. We parked nearby and wandered over to GZ. At GZ, it didnt take long to locate the cache. After adding our names to the log, we rehid the cache and then headed to the next one. TFTC
I've been wanting to bring the kids to do this series for a while now so I was disappointed when I saw that two thirds of it had disappeared from the map. I am even more angry that a golf course has been approved in such an environmentally delicate area putting the local squirrel glider population in danger. But I won't get into that or this log will become War and Peace.
We did this one first because we parked in nearby Moorabin Place. It was a nice, easy find and we quickly moved on to the next one.

Out on a caching day with Selva Girls today, and collecting some finds to make a mini milestone, we stopped for a smilie here. The cache was soon located and log signed. Tftc dawesy321
Out today to get some numbers. Tftc. Recovered and returned in the company of my girlfriends. Mark made in the form off a line as our pen struggled with this paper today.
Followed some other comments and looked for the attachment first - success! Fell over laughing at the Geodog when he was totally gobsmacked by a horse being ridden past. Thanks for the Stroll series, it's been really fun.
Woot! Out for NYE tapas with a group of peeps including the CO who said we needed to log a cache before midnight. Oh goody
The CO was going to log a nearby cache but, oh no, I already have a smiley on that one So in a dress and inappropriate footwear I accepted the offer of a lift and toddled over to make a semi-easy find
TFTC Dawesy321! Thx for your company!

A Short Stroll 7 / 8 / 9 are all still accessible and unaffected by nearby development.
Being in the area today, Barbb and I decided to go for 'A Short Stroll'. It was starting to get really hot, so after a sour apple slurpie (we were just rehydrating honest! ), we started our walk. Now being us, did we start at number 1 - of course not!!! We started at number 9 because we had a plan of attack (well, it was a good parking place, LOL). We headed to a likely spot and started the search. "Found it!", I shouted, OMG, I found a cache before Barbb - a happy dance ensued (Barbb has amazing geosenses, so it's nice to spy them before she does ). Log signed, it was off to number 8 (dodging the muggle dog that was quite interested in us and what we were up to). TFTC dawesy321
out on an adventure day, only one K today
a very excited dancing k found this cache
not what we were expecting

Another for the old man, sees the scoreboard end up 2 : 3 : 3. tempted to drag the boys back to short stroll # 6 to try and square the ledger.
Thanks Dawesy321, a great course for a lazy Saturday afternoon, cheers.

So, I found myself in the area today and was deciding on whether to go to the markets in the city with a friend or go caching. My friend ended up being too slow in deciding their movements so I ventured in this direction and by the time they told me they wanted to go to the markets I was close to these caches and I decided that this little collection of caches looked like they would be fun to do. So I ditched the markets and spent the afternoon following the 'short stroll'. Well, I'm not too sure on the short part of this. From the start, I thought it would be a little fun to follow the stroll according to the numerical order of the caches, the titles made it sound like a little bit of an adventure.
Number 9: Finally, the last in the series. Although following the stroll by numerical order took me back and forth (and a lot longer than I expected), I had a really lovely time on this series. Thanks so much for the wonderful set of caches. I'm a tad upset the area is being taken over by the golf course, but that's development I guess.
Thanks once again dawesy321

Tiki's 1, 3 & 4 out for a stroll. A bit of redemption for Tiki 1 on the last one with the find scores being 3-3-3! Been a great day of walking and fresh air with this series. TFTC.
out for a walk today to pick up this series. I didn't exactly do them in order however but I enjoyed the series.
found this one nice and easy

Last one for the day took a little longer than the others and I was standing right at it at one point. TFTC
"The end is nigh"
says she with a sigh;
our time in the bush has concluded.
All nine have been found
In trees - on the ground;
Some open, but most were secluded.
So thank you to Dawesy
321 because-y
Your caches were fun to discover.
My aim was to find
Some good exercise:
On paths with some nice thick ground cover.
So all well and dusted,
We are not disgusted;
Quite opposite - we are delighted:
For caching is fun
when out in the sun;
On that. we are surely united.
Found at 3.15pm on 16th July 2015. TFTC.

Out visiting friends, on the south side of Brisbane, so picked up a few caches in the area.
A great little series, and an enjoyable walk for this time in the morning.
Signed some of the logs as TD where ever possible, as the logs were difficult to write on.
Many thanks for placing this cache, dawesy321, for us and others to find.

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 11:20am. This is our 2nd look for this one and it is about 13m away from where our GPSr says it should be; but found it now. TFTC
The last of the 3 of the series that were outstanding and I walked over from where I had parked near #8 and circled around the spot a few times without spotting anything and then I read the previous logs and, immediately, I spotted the cable tie and extracted the cache.
TFTC.

I came back for lunch but it started raining so I sat in my car and finished my sub before making my way over.
No sign of muggles today so I did a couple of laps before finally looking at the right angle and finding the shiny cache. Gosh, I made hard work of this one.
All good within so TFTC: nice to wrap up the stroll at last.

Yay! First GC experience ever (after stumbling across one by accident last week) and found it not where I expected, and very thankful for that haha.
Tricky find. Was just about to give up when I saw the cable tie. Thanks for the hunt.
This took me way too long was looking everywhere but where I should have been looking. Was determined to finish with a find. Will have to come back for the ones I missed today.
I visited yesterday around 7am but it may as well have been central station.
First the teenagers from across the road appeared and spent an eternity looking at and in a van parked on the street. So I stood and bided my time.
Then a man walked right past GZ walking his dog. He was in bear feet. He informed me that yesterday was much colder and he had to wear thongs.
Then a man walked past with his child.
And then the man from the house directly opposite GZ appeared, sat down and lit up.
I left.
Today it was all quiet and I spied the tell tale sign of a cache in amongst the trees.

This one had me circling a little and it was a bit of up there, down there, in there? Plenty of spots for this one but I was able to see the bright colour from the right angle. TFTC dawsey321
In fact, the end was nowhere in sight!
I strolled over after failing at the nearest cache, clutching my McFeast and coke zero as if to say to muggles, yes, I decided to bring my lunch HERE to this little grove, for no particular reason.
Well, I wandered in and around and frisked this and that and tried not to fall over the branches in the middle, but my patience wore out as I kept feeling I was being watched. This has become quite a nemesis area for me of late. Until next time...

Found with misssusan, mnance, remsjw and jemillalucy today. A quick find for our last one in this serues. Thanks for the lovely short stroll. A nice little series. Tftc
Out caching with Remsjw, Lisylou, Misssusan and Jemillalucy. Jemillalucy found this one. TFTC and the nice quick and fairly easy trail!
A day in the caching calendar had to be filled. Instead of going to my usual playgrounds, Carina or Mt Cotton, decided to take benefit from these new caches that are in an easily accessible location. So, the end of the line it shall be, just to save the other one for another hunt, perhaps a proper tour around the Short Stroll trail in daylight.
10 pm a most usual Japanese small car slowed down on the cul-de-sac, the driver took out the headlamp and headed out a group of trees as guided by the smartiephone compass. Scouring here, poking there, tapping through the vines, shuffling under, peeking through, glancing over.
Went through all most logical spots and only after some 10 minutes spotted this little blighter in my "Plan B" tour around the place. Not perhaps the most common way to hide a cache but works well.
All good here. Signed, replaced back, and it was time to hop on the car and return to the base.
TFTC, Dawesy321!

I cruised by this one today. It was supposed to be my first find for the series today, but a family of muggles was playing with their dog around GZ.
Joint *FTF* with Linden/6 at 9:55am. Had to be stealth with this one as there was a muggle relaxing on his verandah. Had cache in hand after a few minutes searching, signed log and replaced. TFTC
