### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there South-West,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond to this enquiry in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers (more's the pity), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
You need to post a note to the page (within 14 days) explaining the situation and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
Be sure to indicate **the actual date that you expect to have it fixed** so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please **post a Write Note log every 4 to 6 weeks,** so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, it's better for you to decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

As per a few previous Geocachers this cache was also not found by Grub62 and I. What a shame as it looks like a great spot. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
Found by Omegaman1971
Find # 9552
In town for just the night and staying at the nearby caravan Park.
Love a cache you can walk to from your accommodation.
Cheers for the cache

SL at 1:10pm. Another daytrip out with DarthVader69 chasing caches and then heading to Portland to do some shopping and have lunch. Last cache of the day for us. Waited for a muggle tradie to leave before getting the cache. Been here many times before but to go to the beach. Some of the graffiti here is very distasteful. TFTC!
This is a lovely spot and thanks to geocaches like this we get to find them.
Way too early for lunch but a nice rest spot and thanks to the clue I soon had my name in the log.
Thanks Marly8120

Yes we stopped for morning tea right at the exact spot. Beautiful place. TFTC JenneG and Budgy. North Nowra.
A long awaited road trip, originally planned for the Millicent Mega weekend. However due to possible SA border issues, we’re only doing the Vic sections. Joined by Papi4506 & Geoturtle37, RoamingHowie and I are finally on the road to adventure!
Day 4: Portland to Hamilton.
A great spot to stop for lunch, albeit a little early for us today. Will keep in mind for another time.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, South-West

Day #4 of the adventure in Western Victoria. Having officially, categorically, absolutely, ruled out crossing the border to SA for the Nth time we are now alternating the plan to spend a couple of nights in Hamilton via some more caches in Portland and surrounds. After a big day of walking yesterday we took it easy this morning and after slowly packing the GeoRanger we are on our way!
This was a DNF redemption after the cache had been muggled a few years ago. After placing some rubbish in the nearby bin, OzHockeyChick made the quick find. By bye blue frown, hello yellow smiley!
Thanks South-West for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Thanks for bringing us to this peaceful little spot, off the highway. The campsite nearby looked like a great spot to remember for future visits. Cache was found in perfect condition.
TFTC Marly8120 and for placing it here. Had a pleasant but windy paddle to GZ. All ok there. Signed the scroll and return to its hidey hole. TNLN. Loving Narrawong.
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks South-West (F=595 H=69) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Despite a rainy start to our 3 day "Millicent Mega consolation getaway" with micaparamedic and The Tritonz, the skies cleared yesterday and stayed that way until just after we had made these last finds on our way home today. What we thought was going to be a washout, turned out to be a fabulous weekend. This was our last before heading home. Not quite lunchtime, but made us start thinking about it. TFTC Marly8120. Nice to know this little spot is here.
Thanks for the cache, if it wasn't school holidays I might have stopped for the night!
It took the kids a while to find and we were glad we had tweezers to get the log out.
Thanks for the cache

A Winters day out of lockdown and rain free. Stop ed d to add this on the way. Thankyou for bringing us to this place and the challenge. Cheers.
Good hide! Once again forgot the pen. Probably should’ve brought some tweezers to get it out!
It wasn’t quite a stop for lunch for us, but a chance of a toilet break and a break in the weather were two good reasons to call in here today. We took the opportunity of a sunny break in a day of gusty, showery weather to pop down to this spot. A very pleasant place to find a cache. Not too tricky for the find. The hint guided us to the right area to make the find.

Locked in by rain this morning, we headed out after lunch to seek out a few caches. A nice spot free of rubbish, picnic if the weather was warmer! The cache was soon in hand, it is desperate for a new log.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** The log in this cache really needs some urgent TLC, please.
Our thanks to South-West for showing us this area.

The tallest person in our group found it. We originally left without finding it but had to go back.
Alpine star and his crew made the find. Managed to sign it while they had it out.
Out this way to pick up a few more caches with shashabear9. Cache was already out of its hidey hole, thanks to Alpine Star and the Reeves crew, so took the opportunity of signing before it was put back away. TFTC
I was heading to Portland for some caching tomorrow, and chose some well spaced caches to break my journey. Found after a short search. What a lovely spot for lunch (although I had already eaten mine several hours previously).
My thanks for the cache, Marly8120.

A 5 day caching run, over the 2020/2021 New year period saw me leave on the Thursday the 31st of December and travel to the Brisbane Ranges, down to Warrnambool, Port Fairy, Portland, the up to Heywood, Dunkfield and Horsham, camping along the way. On the Saturday I met up with my caching partner, ilukaperi at the home of choocknchunk, where we spread the coronavirus around as much as we could. Enjoyed some 4wding around the Mt Cole area before making our way back home on the Monday.
So I spent New Year’s Eve by myself on the shores of Lake Elingamite, sipping on a glass (or plastic cup) of red wine and watching the sunset on 2020. Good riddance I say! I got up early and cached my way from there, through Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland before finding my camp for the night at Annya Camp. A lot of variety of cache types and some good ground covered too.
Another lovely spot. Cache was found easily and I was well sheltered from the muggles on the other side of the building.
TFTC!

Left Camperdown on my way to Portland to see the new Morris residence.
Picked up the odd cache on the way.
In Portland joined The Morris on deadly treadlies to do a couple of Adventure Labs.
I nice little picnic area by the creek, but a bit early for lunch atm.
Took ages to get the logbook out of the container!
Thanks, Robmc.

On our first break away since lockdown eased for Regional vic. Making the most of Geelong cup and grand final long weekend. On a day trip from Port Fairy seeing a few sights of Portland and then up to Nelson. Rainy day Today but we are still going to do some sight seeing. Nice easy find in a beautiful spot TFTC
Out exploring with the family. A quick find here and then off for a walk along the beach. Lovely little town which we plan to come back and camp at. Many thanks for the cache.
We have just moved to Portland and now the boxes are unpacked today we started to explore the area towards Narrawong.
What a stunning area Narrawong is, we enjoyed checking it out.
Thanks for the cache South-West

More a stop on the way to lunch rather than for it today. We resorted to the hint to make the find on this one.

#1697 Day 5 of the Great Vic Bike Ride ( Portland to Port Fairy- 85km). This year we were only doing the first half of the great Vic so this was our last day of riding. Took a bit of a detour off our route to get to this one but it was well worth the diversion. Took a couple of mins to find it as it took a different perspective to spot it. TNLNSL. TFTC Marly8120.
A lovely picnic spot .
Would not of been here if it were not for geocaching .
Thank you for guiding me here.
