Thanks out for a walk before we head away got in late last night after catching the ferry over from Wellington
Nice easy find while waiting for Thai to be made at the local restaurants here. I had passed this in the car a few times today so I took the time to make the grab. Find #367
Dropped daughter at swimming pool early this morning and had an hour to fill in before racing started so time to grab a couple of caches. Quickly spotted signed and replaced. Thanks for the cache.
After managing to get our campervan to the Auto-electrician we are spending the rest of the morning caching on foot around town.
Our first stop was here at That Song. We had to time getting in to GZ as there was a truck very close by lifting a big rubbish bin. Soon spotted the cache and were on our way. Thanks.

From Melbourne, doing some caching during our Tiki Tour of the South Island.
Easy find as it was obvious from path. Tucked it away slightly so it wasn't so obvious

Pretty quick find this morning with eltee291! GPS seemed to want us in the middle of the street but we figured it out! Signed the log and replaced as found. Visiting from BC, Canada! Thanks for the cache!
Quickly found this morning with hingis20. In Blenheim to visit with my daughter and her family. From Victoria, BC, Canada. TFTC
Was an easy find on the second time coming, the first time the garbage truck was there so we had to leave. Yet today was found!
Quick one after refuelling before heading to Nelson. King the daily streak alive. Day 185. Tftc
We had been out for dinner to celebrate GKs fathers 90th birthday at the nearby restaurant - after dinner I asked GK if he would like to find a few more caches as for a challenge we are working on we need to find some caches after dark. This was the third of the ones we needed, tftc
Another QEF on our route today. Managed to snag it without getting muggled. Always a good way to do it.
Found with crman1, PotterFan16279, and FluffyUnicorn02. Signed log as CR, CM, FU, and PF.

I think there used to be one near here. Perhaps it got muggled. Nice to find another in its stead, though. Good hide, and managed to find without too much attention from Muggles. Signed as CR, CM, FU, PF.

In town finding a few urban caches before heading over to the Awatere for the night.
Sunday afternoon seemed like quite a good time to get these out of the way.
A tricky little number. Thanking Pokemon a lot these days. People now seem to understand what I must be doing.

In the eighties I had a great tape of Split Enz I See Red. I played it so much I wore it out and had to buy a CD. Tftc and greetings from the North Island
Out and about with Jo this afternoon for a bit of fresh air and some caches. Met up with big vern and his better half near the end then off for a coffee. TFTC to all COs.
QEF thanks.
QEF thanks.
I decided to spend the first half of Easter weekend in Marlborough and second half back in Nelson. Plenty of caches to find along the way. After spending the night at the Molesworth Cobb Cottage camp site, it took just under two hours to get back to SH1 and then I was heading back to Nelson via Blenheim and a 'few' more caches along the way. Oh yes! One of my all time favourite songs. Down the drain like molten toothpaste indeed! TFTC, Biggles.
Sat behind the transformer for a while waiting for muggles to pass by.
Will have to return on a quiet Sunday afternoon, rather than a busy Friday

Girls weekend with daughter! Last year we decided to head out to Molesworth with a suitable vehicle, and now was a good time for it. Sunday was nice, hot, and sunny. We started caching past Hanmer Springs and wanted to see where we get to, aiming mainly for drive-by's with a few shorter lookout walks in the mix. As we ended up in Blenheim for the night, we found a few there, before heading back into Awatere, and then down south. Great time in an amazing area, thanks to all the CO's for their caches to keep us entertained along the way!!!

Out caching for the weekend with mum. She had hired a 4wd for us to be able to attempt getting some caches which we may not be able to otherwise! So we did a quick two day weekend trip to see what and how many we could find.
On day two, we decided to finish clearing out some more caches towards molesworth way, with a stop in Blenheim central to get some of those caches that would be easiest first thing on a Sunday morning with noone around! Then went back down towards Molesworth as it had been getting late yesterday so we skipped a few!
Didn't do that huge a weekend, but had fun, and still got sleep too!
Thanks for all the hides on the way

A personal challenge day for us. Beat our 'most caches in a day. After a late start we left Motueka at 9:45 and headed south. First cache was about 50KM away. Once we got to SH63 it was park and grabs all the way to Blenheim. From there it was a few caches in town before a burger and a return to Motueka. Home 11:20pm with target achieved. Thanks to all the cache owners for their placements.
Staying in Blenheim tonight while cycling from Picton to Christchurch, so decided to use the bike and a spare evening to amble around and collect a few local caches. *TFTC capperz, #8531*
With only seven days to go to my milestone target deadline and a weekend geocaching trip to the Nelson Lakes National Park which won't produce a lot of caches means tonight I need to get as many caches as I can, so in the company of Kiwimykl we ventured out after work to get as close to the target as possible.
It is 10pm and fully dark now with no muggles about as we made an attempt on this cache. Kiwimykl was the joint FTFer on this one but seems to think there have been changes around GZ for this one. In the end it was me who made the find in a clever placement.

The last trips over to Blenheim we have looked for caches out of the town area. Today Mrs Sobad managd to find a few in the centre as it was relatively quiet. She had to wait for a couple of people to go by and then had a quick find. Then had to wait for others to park the car and leave before returning it.The log did take some manoevering to get out as the lack of top means the log is squashed a bit to keep the cache in place.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found it on a walk around town, but could not find the lid. Thanks for the cache.
Start of our holiday today. We packed up our gear and we were heading to Nelson. We stopped in Blenheim to break up the journey for the night. After checking in to our accommodation, sorting out a great meal across the road that sold 'chinese and normal food' we got the cachelets to bed and I headed out on the bike for a spot of caching.
Quick find at GZ. I only found the tube part. No lid.
Thanks for the cache capperz.
