My partner and I are on a road trip from the NSW/Vic border to Mandurah for a wedding and we are caching along the way.I worked out a lot of these puzzles before leaving home and brought my pushbike on our road trip to ride along this trail and pick up as many of these solved puzzles as I could today.
Today is the fourth and final day of WAGB 2024. TaurusSix and I created a general plan about how we would focus our geocaching time today, to make the most of the day. We decided to focus on collecting our most different types of cache finds in a day statistic . Our record is currently seven and we figured by leaving unfound all the different types from Augusta and a few back up the highway we could make eight . This also would mean we could collect the long outstanding challenge cache in Busselton which was requiring for five different cache types in one day prior to collecting the challenge itself . The day commenced well as we had saved one of the Adventure Lab elements knowing we would need it for today , followed by a multi, then a traditional that we had saved for today then on to the final event for four days of WAGB. During that we collected a near by Letter Box, which even though it was technically a night cache, with a little bit of improvising we were able to locate it. After that it was back down the coast to the tip to pick up an earth cache and a virtual cache. We then left Augusta to hit the highway and stopped to pick up a small stretch of puzzle caches on the Wadandi Track just north of Witchcliffe. With eight types of caches under our belt we collected a few more stragglers around Margaret River before heading to Busselton to collect the aforementioned challenge another couple of puzzles and a really tricky Pood cache that has had us stumped for quite a while, we were super happy to finally find that. All in all a wonderful long weekend of geocaching before making our way back to Bunbury. This is our tenth cache find of the day as we walked this stretch of the Wadandi Track. The wildflowers along here were looking spectacular . There were a few muggle dog walkers and cyclists coming along the track so we needed a bit of stealth at times. We always enjoy a good walk along here though and finding caches makes it extra special. Thanks for the cache find .
The Better Half and I collected the family and made a very early run down to do the new series of caches east of Augusta. Lucky for us I had loaded all the caches around the area into the GPS which enabled us to find caches as the phone devices all failed in the very wet conditions. They did not work again properly until Saturday on our way home again. We decided to do the Adventure labs in Margaret River and Cowaramup as well as other caches around the area.Cache found without problems. Log was signed and the cache returned as it was found. Thanks SeabreezeOZ for placing this cache for other cachers to find.

Its great to be visiting this side of the country, the plants and wildlife are diverse and beautiful. Having solved most of these puzzles in advance, we decided to walk the trail today.A bit of a car shuffle, and about 12 km of walking done. Lots of logs signed. The forest Trail/bike trail is very beautiful and although it was a little grey and cold, the rain held off for most of the day, and perhaps, due to the weather, it was very quiet as we walked today. Not too many people out and about. Thanks SeabreezeOZ for the adventure, scenery and caches along the trail today. Domsky
We decided to head into town on the bikes and grab these caches that I had solved. It was a nice ride inland back picking up a few things at the supermarket while we were there.A located it easilyThanks for the puzzle cache
Found after crossing the Nullabor and heading down to Esperance and Albany on our way around the SW coast and north to Perth. After staying for two nights at Big Valley Campsite near Margaret River we spent a few hours in the morning to tackle the Rails to Trails series and the South West Attractions series with the added bonus of an intermediate Letterbox cache. With the Rails to Trails series we found all the caches but the clue for E was missing. Even so after calculating a few possibilities, and searching along a transect, the Final was located. With the South West Attractions series, the clue for B was missing and I couldn't find the cache at SWA # 1. With two clues effectively missing, and time against us, we had to pull the pin and move on to Yallingup for the night. Thanks for the caches and series SeabreezeOz!
Looked all over the area and nearly gave up. Found it with the little rock wedged in tight.
Sept 21 was last find and so I was not optimistic - but bingo under rock behind Little Rock! Fun series to solve. Staying close by. Here in Margaret River for a few days from NE VIC at much higher altitudes. The trail network and MTB has been awesome to explore. TFTC and the lure to stop by
Bunadoorian had solved this one earlier and we both had a good look around the area today as it was a bit cooler than the past few days and thought a walk would be nice. Unfortunately we couldn't find it. TFTC and the puzzle SeabreezeOZ
Last day in Margaret River and final opportunity to grab a few more caches in the Rail to Trail series. For some reason I couldn't find this one. Hope it is just blindness and that the cache is still there... Thank you for the puzzles and for the hides SeabreezeOZ and WA_Puzzler.
Without the luxury of a bicycle, I attempted this series on foot after completing a couple of other series nearby.
I like the change in terrain here. Bit more open.
Such a beautiful part of the world. How lucky are we?
Thanks SeabreezeOZ for the puzzles, caches and fun earning smileys.

Probsty and I hatched another plan to hit the Wadandi Trail. I had a few solved but Probsty went ballistic and solved the entire trail (thankfully). We parked up in town and pulled out the mountain bikes and we were off. No DNF’s but a few caches need some TLC.

A lovely walk with the atCat family while finding this series. Loved the caches, hated the March flies. TFTC
I solved all these puzzles awhile ago when I needed something to keep me busy. We found ourselves in Margaret River this weekend and, even better, staying within walking distance of this trail! We took a beautiful afternoon walk and took turns collecting the caches while baby atCat napped. TFTC
Went for a ride along the rails to trails with SAMOW to collect some of the solved puzzles. Caches seemed to be unnecessarily quite a distance from the path but still enjoyable so thanks for the cache owner for placing these caches.

All going well so far... combining Rails to Trails and SW Attractions... raining consistently, so have the track to myself! Phone was 7m out for this one...
After all my walking on the trail yesterday I finally calmed down my knees a little during night so thought a ‘little’ walking today would be ok . Well that okness didn’t last long but I soldiered on doing the ones I planned.
Didn’t help that Google and the geo map said one was a road when really it was the rail trail so there went what I thought was 2km of p’n’gs to end up walking it
Passed through some lovely farm land today though
Mr dimor dropped me off near some house in the area for me to start my walk south but first had to walk north to get those two now southbound
Most caches were easy finds, some took a few minutes longer but no DNFs happy with that.
A few cyclists out and about, while here I was wishing I could ride a bike . But nah let’s put knees in pain again just shy of seeing a new knee specialist, oops Looks like sleeping in knee braces again tonight if I want to walk tomorrow
Had a few sprinkles of rain which made it humid but when you need to reach the car not much can do about the weather
TFTC Finally adding some smileys to these puzzles

Finally catching up on logging.
Grabbed a few over a few days. Enjoyed most of these puzzles, solved a while ago when home sick. TFTC

We decided to tackle the Rails to Trails series while staying in Karridale for a few days. The boys had a fun outing on the bikes riding from north to south where we were picked up by Janine at the end . Certainly a beautiful trail to ride, really not sure why most caches were placed such a long way from it though?!

Day 2 in Margaret River and back on the bike early in the morning to finish up the Rails to Trails caches.
TFTC SeabreezeOZ this is find # 8357 for us.

It was another freezing morning and when it was almost bright enough to see we checked to see what the temperature was. A lovely toasty 8 degrees but we were already rugged up to the hilt. Our shoes were wet from walking through running water so the feel like 6 degrees note on the the weather app only applied to rational people with common sense.
We had been making some quick finds on this trail but this cache took us some time. We had taken to looking for satchels but we were fooled when this cache was sitting out but itself, like a normal cache I suppose. It was also bloody dark. Because we are so thankful for this series I have couriered a pack of shipping satchels inside another satchel to the CO. tftc

Third day exploring the picturesque SW with megawat60 and today we are tackling this bunch of pre-solved puzzles. Enjoying the bike ride very much and finding some nice size caches. TFTC, SeabreezeOZ.
We had a puzzle solving spree before heading down to MR and today was the day to start finding them. Mounted the deadly treadlies and set off on a beautiful day. This cache was found , signed and number noted. Tftc, seabreezeOZ. Great location.
Visiting the Margaret River district and doing a number of caches while here. Thanks to all the CO's for their placement. Log signed and placed back. TFTC

After being given the morning off from tractor and kid duty I decided to tackle this trail whilst we were down here and the weather was nice. What a great bike ride going through farmland and Bush I really enjoyed myself. All caches found easily and in good condition. Tftc
Headed down to Margaret River with the main aim to get the Wharncliff Mill caches and the Rail to Trail caches with a few other caches along the way. A great day for walking and we managed to find all of them quite quickly with a few that took a bit of searching. Lots of muggles riding there bikes on the tracks but no one was interested in what we were doing. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing this caches for us and everyone else to find.

We have a holiday in Australia to visit our daughter. We over the beautifull natur. Today we made a walk and later a little Nike trail and find some caches.
Thanks and greetings from the Netherlands.
Thanks and greetings from the Netherlands.
Found late in the afternoon between the showers while attempting to complete the series. In the end the darkness and weather prevented me from finding the final cache, but I will return! This is a great trail. Thanks SeabreezeOZ for the puzzle and the cache.
After a morning of technical MTB trails it was nice to ride the rail trail and smell the roses without fear of crashing. Quick find here. TFTC!
Down in Cowaramup for a few days relaxation, food, exploration and a few caches in between. Made our base at a great new B&B in Cowaramup and had an enjoyable time exploring the immediate area and sampling the many scenic and gastronomic delights.
Our last day in the area and we decided we needed to do a walk to offset the indulgence [:o)]. We chose the Rails to Trails series, and although previously solved we didn't have the solutions with us, so we sat and had a coffee and redid the puzzles. Then off for an enjoyable walk, back to Margs for lunch and them off home. - another good day !!
A quick find on this one.
Thanks for the cache SeabreezeOZ [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
This was find # 4 of 9 and 0 today giving us a total cache count of 3310.

Have wanted to do this trail for some years now and today was a lovely day to get out the bike and hopefully complete this trail. Unfortunately after about an hour of searching I was not able to find 1.1. It was only after checking my phone that I found that it had been disabled. As i was not able to get the numbers for the final cache in the series I at first was a bit disappointed but decided to keep going with the rest of the caches. At the end I decided to have a crack at the final by just getting in the close location of the final and then using the rest of the coordinates which worked a treat and soon had the final signed and returned to its hidey hole. Thanks for the series and hopefully 1.1 will be up and running for many more geocachers to complete
TFTC! Had a lovely couple of days away with the Geowife, which ironically Cravo10 and ItsKate had booked into the same town as us for the weekend.
With strict instructions on how many caches I could get from the geowife it was a bit like pulling teeth to grab some caches and had to trade off buying a few extras for her to get "just one more"!! This would have to be some of the most expensive caching I've done for some time!!
We were lucky as the Geowife loves a sleep in some pre breakfast caching is allowed, which saw us renting bikes from the hair marron on Brussel highway (highly recommended) and tackling a bunch of the rails to trails series and the caches around wharncliffe mill, which was a huge amount of fun.
This weekend has got me extremely interested in completing the cape to cape track, so we may be back down this way sooner than we otherwise would have. It was a great weekend with some lovely views, awesome wineries, some breweries and who can't resist the olive oil and chocolate factory!! Thanks to the local COs

So a little get away down south was on order just a short stay to enjoy the tourist attractions or just some of our favourite food and beverage places. I will be honest B12 told me he was heading down and I thought a great time to catch some caches with him down there.
It didn't take long for the partners to soon see through the "coincidence" however luckily the 2 ladies love a sleep in and made for enough time to find a handful in the mornings.
Found 1.1 some months ago and solved the rest of the puzzles in the series before heading south for the weekend. My aim was to ride the new section of rail trail from Culgardup Rd north. Thanks for the caches and apologies for the generic logs. This one took the longest to find.
Found during our holiday in Australia.
Thanks to all COs.

We have had this series on our list to finish for sometimes as we were joint FTF on Rails to Trails 1.1. Decided to hitch up the bikes and head out for a bit of cache riding. Arrived at the parking area and as we took our bikes off the car we noticed the sky looked a bit ominous, but we headed out anyway. Lucky for us we were able to complete the series without getting wet. TFTC
We cycled over 21km round trip to geocache this morning, with the main aim to do this series. Very enjoyable on this trail, as always. Thanks!
Skipped straight over it on the first hunt, checked the clue, surely it has to be here ... and it was!

Surely the cache is over there... A second look at a first suspected location to get the cache.
We made all the puzzles at home but we did not have enough time to search fo2 them all. This was the second and last one. TFTC.
GPS threw a fit here but after a bit of hunting I made the find. The plan on walking the trail ended here after only two caches due to the heat. I think I will bring the bike next time. TFTC. TB Collected.
Spot on coords led me straight to this one , just as the rain started . I wish I had brought my bike
I had an RDO and decided to head off with the swag and see where I ended up! The weather looked a bit dodgy but I risked it and had a full day caching before heading home. I had a few caches highlighted to grab and any others that looked interesting along the way.
SeabreezeOZ - jinta29 found your cache Rails to Trails 1.2 on 12/06/2015 1:41 pm. This is my find #3282 and find #28 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

After completing the Wharncliff Mill series, the geo-hubby's while fired up, set off on a beautiful autumn afternoon to grab these caches. Thanks SeabreezeOZ
Day three of the WA Goes Big weekend in Busselton.
After finishing the Wharncliff Mill Series, the boys were all fired up and eager to tackle this series as well. Thanks SeabreezeOZ, we had fun.

It really is the 'early bird gets the worm' - thought we might be the first to log this series but The ICTeam beat us to it. Was great to get out this afternoon with my geokid on her 1st solo ride on the big bike. Thanks SeaBreezeOz - didn't have a pen to log but will put a photo up later to prove we were there.
Was the perfect morning to head out on the bikes with the kids to grab this series. The CO had alerted me to them yesterday at the WAGB event and I couldn't resist the FTF. TFTC.
