I've had this series solved for way to long, thankfully I had grabbed them as they have come in handy for the Planetary souvenirs.
Journeyed up the highway with simsfamily under the cover of darkness to what feels like a second home for caching.
I assumed it was the obvious but checked with the GPSr which had us on target.
Log signed and replaced as found.

After work tonight I was heading out to a Pursue the Planets event near home when I got a message from Ausfox; saying he was thinking of heading up the highway to Ballarat to try and get a little further out toward the out planets of our Solar System.
Thank fully I had this little series solved a some months ago and only picked up one when I was chasing a mystery challenge. So the extra points for the Pursue the Planets is a welcome thing
Thank you Shamus1 for this nice little series

A coolish day to be out and about. Parked nearby and strolled to GZ.
Looking for some puzzles which I had previously solved and looking at earning extra points for the souvenir
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Shamus1. Appreciate your efforts.

Spotted this one from a distance so an easy find.. enjoying the puzzles and finds.
I was in Ballarat for a night earlier in the week to attend the GIFF: returned to explore a bit more and, of course, to find a few more caches.
I had solved most of these puzzles before I left home; good to find a few today.
Thanks for this cache & the series, Shamus1. I added a piece of paper to extend the log.
Greetings from NZ.

A great puzzle series for a beginner like me ..... I do have 2 to still work out though. Great hide and good location. TFTC
This was a clever one. Approaching it from the non-traditional side of the trail, we thought we had worked out the obvious GZ before we got there, but not to be. It was in another place instead. Kept us thinking until the reveal. Great series to solve and find. Thanks Shamus1.
We have been cooped up, keeping warm and nursing our colds for a couple of weeks and we thought we would head over to the 'rat and celebrate Mica's birthday
Time to head for home but keen to collect this series before we do.
We had lots of fun today - thanks Shamus1

Another puzzle solved by mrs harrowang since our last visit to Ballarat. Out and about enjoying a sunny winter's day of a long weeekend with Markndee. Not where we expected it to be, but mr harrowang wins the prize for the find. SL at 3.28pm. Replaced the torn zip lock bag. Not many places left on the log sheet either. #4603 TFTC Shamus1
Out and about town with Harrowang on our cooperative caching adventure. This time we were 4 of the eyes looking in the wrong spot when Mr Harrowang sighted the treasure! SL TFTC Shamus1
Solved this 3 times in total, the first two times my edited cords and comments disappeared. This time im on to it....a bit time consuming but an easy solve with geowifeE.
The find....its bloomin freezing at 720 am...heading for a feed and a change of clothes before we finish this series. Got this one tho.

Ballarat by bike this morning: Simple and enjoyable Puzzles, yes we could go along with that. It was the hides, which we found more challenging, perhaps because we were working backwards from #08!
Satellites today had our GZ 9 metres WSW of where we found the cache.
Thanks Shamus1 for creating this series.

Had these solved for sometime and finally managed to head out, met up with Mi5sie and we braved the cold and wet to turn these into smiles, Thanks Shamus for a fantastic series and all the fun
Cherad and I were on a mission to clean these up today, turn them into smilies. Cherad had worked out the puzzles prior so it was a quick attack. It was too cold today to hang around anywhere for too long. TFTC and puzzles

Doctor Owl and sushilord are off on a long weekend trip to find some quality caches in Mexico. We suffered the laughs, joys and frustrations normally experienced on a caching trip and bonded as geobrother and geosister.
sushilord loves puzzles that make him think, this was a nice little series. All final coords had us within cooee of the cache - well done.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Shamus1.

Not one of the puzzles Owl had solved, though looking at it now she wonders how she could possibly have missed that! Fortunately Sushilord was on the ball in both solving and finding the cache.
Solved a very long time ago. Only decided to go for a hunt tonight as the house was too hot. Cache is in good order. TFTC.
SanguineDragonflye and I spent the day caching in and around Ballarat in what is fast becoming our yearly hunt. This was our big walk of the day - I'd already solved the puzzles while back overseas so all that remained was to find them. We got seven out of eight, only missing number 7. This wasn't in the first spot we looked, but we did manage to find it fairly quickly when I looked in the right direction. Cheers!
Caching with our kiwi group over for the Surf Coast Mega we signed the log logs "Team NZ" we enjoyed exploring as well as caching our way around Melbourne thanks for the placments

We solved this fun series at home before coming to Victoria for the mega and extra weeks holiday. With only one full day in town we were not able to do too many but this series was high on our list.
We sort of took it in turns depending on where we parked. I took miss J to this one and we grabbed it as we walked past. We walked off a bit and signed the log before doing a walk by to put it back. TFTC

My gps had pointed me to an area with some natural cover but it was found in a somewhat manmade location nearby. Tftpuzzle and cache
Another countdown event to the Surf Coast Mega. This time Ballarat. I enlisted Locus Cache for company and we arranged to meet mogni and Mrs. Aussie M & M there as they were coming from a different direction. Having arrived last night we set off early to cache our way to the event. We had worked on Puzzles on the weeks leading up to the event so were keen to see if we could get some of those and any others we were passing. [^]
Hoot a Puzzle trail. [^] Some hides were harder than others but we ended up getting them all in the end.

Brisal5 wanted a 'yapper' to keep him awake as he drove to Ballarat and he thought I'd be up to the task
After a late start Friday, due to his 'anytime is fine' reply when I asked what time we were leaving [)], we landed at our barn accommodation [^] in Ballarat about 8pm. After grabbing tea and a cache, we caught up with Mogni and Aussie M&M before checking out their weekend's amazing accommodation
Saturday we travelled the countryside from cache to cache in our two vehicles and managed to attend an event too (2 months to the Surf Coast Event - Ballarat) then bolted off to find a rare moveable cache [^]
Following a DNF on a bridge cache, our friends headed off for sleep [)] while Brisal5 and I cached until just after midnight by which time we were beat! [xx(]
Sunday after the usual caching breakfast of Maccas we said our goodbyes to the two ladies and then we two cached Ballarat until 1.45pm before finally heading for home.
Weekend tally of 1 event attended, 2 DNFs and 58 cache finds
Thankfully, someone had done some hard work before we arrived in Ballarat and so we had this series of puzzle caches to find
Most of them were very easy to find with only one really giving us any trouble.
A neat series to assist people with learning some solid puzzle solving methods [^]
I had fun splashing through the water, in my rubber boots, on my way to GZ

sitting at the computer going through our caching notes and noticed we are weeks behind on logging our finds so here goes a few hours at the keyboard....
got time off work so been taking out our grand kids so we were able to grab at least one cache each day they are with us....today it was a day trip to Ballarat, an inflatable dingy and oars for a caching adventure around lake wendoree. Geo grand daughter loved the fact that grandpa did all the rowing, she recently got her own account (Cucumber Kid) but is still basic so she has to wait for premium membership to log a lot of finds...

Heading over to Ballarat for a caching weekend and picking up a few caches on the way.
We managed to find about 230 caches in 3 days not bad work for 3 old guys
After solving these we were obligated to find them.
The puzzles were easy enough and we found all but SPS07.

Spiffy- GT02 and I had a Ballarat trip planned for some time to cache on Leap Day. Another puzzle solved and another quick find and back on our way.
GT02 Spiffy- and I had planned out a trip to Ballarat and today - leap day - was it. Spiffy- and I had also timed our 4000th and 3000th finds to be on the same cache. Puzzle solved prior to trip. We managed a quick solve at GZ and were on our way. Thanks Shamus1 for the cache.
I have been waiting for this leap day for quite a while now to finally finish filling in my calendar so a few months ago I put in for annual leave at work to make sure I had the whole day to not just get DNF's. I mentioned it to Fleabag- so he got on board with GT02 and we made a day of it making sure we went to an event for the souvenir and then spent the day in Ballarat getting a few tricky and high terrain caches along with a few solved puzzles.
We also combined this day to synchronize Fleabag's 3,000 th and my 4,000 th cache find. The boat and ladder were on board the geovehicle with us for the day and a great fun day was had by all.
I solved all these before we headed up and we managed to find all but one. Number five took a little while to find and we couldn't find number seven.
Thanks Shamus1 for the cache, the puzzle, the hunt and the fun.

A day planned out and about in Ballarat with half of chooknchunk and FUF009. Initially to find award nominated caches. There was a plan but it was largely abandoned although we ended up completing most of it. We had a really great day which all of us needed and enjoyed. It was a long day. I was up from 5am until 11.30pm!

Today I headed across to Ballarat to continue my quest to find the caches that have been nominated for the 2015 Victorian caching awards as well as a few other that have good D/T combo's.
I worked on solving these ones the night before, at least I could solve these ones.
I walked over to the object that the GPSr was pointing to, looked up and there it was.

We saw and solved each of the puzzles very soon after they had been published. Tonight we made a quick visit to Ballarat to look for these and some challenge caches. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find in the fading light. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Shamus1 for the puzzle and hide.
Our 4th day camped at Creswick, and today we decided to go to Ballarat to do a few trails.
Geo-wife solved all of the puzzles except one, which required a little help.
Parked near by and the cache was found after a short search.

After what seemed to be a very long day at work, I was finally off on my adventure afternoon heading to Ballarat. The end goal is to finish the night with two night caches in Ballarat. I had stopped a few times along the way from Geelong and I seen this series a little while ago. I set to work in solving them and worked my way through most of them quickly. Tonight was now the night to collect. I thought it would be quiet. How wrong as I. I was going to walk the trail but decided to drive with the terrible weather. This was a quick find. Stamped and replaced as found.
