Hi there South-West,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

We were in Portland to celebrate SuperPop's ninetieth birthday yesterday and today we thought that we would take him out for a drive and grab a few caches in areas that we don't normally travel. We had an enjoyable day and managed to avoid the threatening rain at all of the cache locations but we did see a lot of water whilst driving around.
As we were driving towards gz we had the feeling of de-ja-vue so a quick check of GSAK told us that we had found an earth cache near here back in 201 but had not gone too far up the road last time. We pulled up to find one other car in the car park but they were quite away away taking pictures of the crater. SuperPop bolted and had the cache in hand before we even got to gz so all we had to do was add our names to the log and then head off to take some time taking in the fantastic views.

This cache is classified as a Traditional (cache at listed co-ords) but the GZ today was some 23m away from where the cache is located. We note other logs also remarking about the accuracy of the co-ordinates.
Perhaps it's time for the CO to do a maintenaince visit and check the co-ords please?

Lucky to have a free afternoon between Rotary activities, we headed NW from Port Fairy, looking to find a few caches in an area of the state we had not been to before. Yes the lake was a surprise, so was the distance where we found the cache - some 20 metres from the given co'ords!
We would suggest S38° 03.536 E141° 55.354
Thanks South-West for placing interesting caches on the gameboard..

This was more of a T3 for us because we did the whole canal circuit and got it at the end. Lovely lookout and place to sign the log. We had the whole place to ourselves on a Friday.
A nice view here - and we also went for a walk to the nearby cave which was great.
The marker is way off, you don't need to go on the path to the lookout to find it. Possibly the most beautiful place for a geocache I've seen!!!
Quick find once hint was read, arrow had me in another spot several metres away TFTC.
Not easy to find due to nav coordinates being wrong but previous pics helped alot
Found during our scout caving trip. What a great area to visit. Never new there was such an awesome place here. TFTC

Was out caching with Heymissjo and 3 of our minis just as the sun was starting to set, so light was limited. The winds had picked up but we pushed on looking for the cache.
Emeylo and I checked the wrong spot for ages before HMJ joined in and typically found it straight away, lol. It always seems to happen that way. Thanks for the cache.

The sun had gone down and the wind was cold, but after exploring the lava cave nearby we had to stop and look at this incredible view. The Welder and I were with three of our geokids and was happy to make a quick find. Travel bug collected.

Marshall’s Geelong found this cache today,
Quick find after doing the lake surprise walk. A few muggles about so had to time it right. Thanks for putting a cache in such a beautiful spot!

It was a stinking hot day but we decided to do something rather than just sit around. So we came to Mt Eccles or Budj Bim to check out some volcanic action. Bonus geocaching included. Great spot for a cache.
Found it with the help of previous logs. My GPS can’t be that far out!
An easy find, and the cache is in good nick. TNLNSL. TFTC!

Coordinates will send you to the platform but it's not there - read logs to be able to find it.
Used recent pictures as it’s been moved from our first time find a couple of years ago
Found but some 15 metres from the GZ above at 141 55.374 38 03.546. Clue agrees.
Stunning location the lake really was a surprise walking over the top of the hill! Fairly predictable to find cache. Thanks!
Beautiful area. Great to see revegetation after the bushfires. And spotted 1 koala
Such an amazing spot, couldn’t access any of the other caches in the area but glad to be able to tick this one off. Thanks!
Direction were a bit off and had a hard time locating it, maybe due to the cloud cover. Very good placement and closure
Found awhile back but just found my paper with codes on it so I can finally log. Log book was signed with date found. TFTC this was found roughly 20metres from coordinates.
Antother great day in Australia. Visiting the Budj Bim Nationalpark and drive to Portland.
Today we saw our first Koala.

Temp coords:

Hint: stump
We had a few days camped nearby, so headed here for a look. Found nothing, so contacted the CO as last few cachers have dnfd it. We offered to put a replacement cache here till maintenance could be done.
No bisons in our cache bag, only a small sistema. No room at GZ to put it, so it has been placed a short distance away.

Alas no joy in finding this one. Didn’t go outside the barriers or disturbed vegetation.
Was unable to find it this time. Hopefully it was t attached by a cable tie, as, if it wS, it may have been muffled - empty cable tie found at GZ. TFTC

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.
The guidelines indicated that regular visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by 16th August,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 16th August). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to Archive it on the basis that it has been abandoned. Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then.
Please don't send me an email but instead follow the advice/instructions posted above.

Found with @Kimmadimsimma. The co-ordinates were a little off but we eventually had the cache in hand
Took a little while to find but eventually found it with mellybeans_. TFTC great spot!
Found after exploring the nearby cave with the kids. Quick find but could not find the lid of cache.
Found with swampgum and soxfox42, followed by a delightful picnic. We love this area. TFTC.
TFTC. This is only 7km from our home, so nice to have a close geocache! Always a beuatiful spot
This one had us stumped!! Coords had us off in the trees. Decided that we would have to log this as a DNF and were about to leave. One last feel around had the cache in hand. Beautiful spot. TFTC.
Found while enjoying a lovely day out with some muggle family for New Year, we stopped here for a picnic, and even though it was New Years day it was quiet, we waited for one group to leave and headed off to make the find, log retrieved, signed and replaced as found, thanks for giving us another reason to stop here, thanks for the cache and the fun.
After completing the nearby EC, the original plan was to wander down the Lava Canal to the Natural Bridge, then back via the road, grabbing this one before heading off. Sadly, the Lava Canal trail is closed, so we changed plans, did the crater circuit and enjoyed lunch at the lookout instead. Coords were good and a quick find was made.
Being midweek, there were no muggles at all and we had this amazing place to ourselves.
Thanks for the cache South-West !
