### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there South-West,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Day Seven: Portland to home.
A quick last find in Portland before hitting the road. I found what is left of the cache - a zip tie and half of a bison - and didn’t have with me what is needed to make amends. Maintenance note added.
Thanks for the hide South-West.

Lovely clear skies and gusty winds determined our sight seeing in the area today.
We enjoyed visiting the local points of interest and learn more about the local history with some short walks.
We found half of your cache today and unfortunately there was no waterproof log in sight. We have taken a photo to send co if required.
Thank you for your cache and adding to our road trip memories.

First day getting back into geocaching after 5 years, looked for 4 today, 2 not found, found one we've done before & lastly found this new one. Good hide.
Found, although the old cage lid threw me off, at first I thought it was still missing but thanks to previous comments I looked deeper and found new cache - nice spot
#490! TFTC! A little harder to find after dark but we got there in the end! NicandPaul!
Clocks changed, so I’m up early this morning, 5.30am (really 6.30am), early coffee and a few finds before sunrise. Found the lid to this one, missing the main cache and log
A quick find. However the find was the top end of a bison. I LWE replaced with a shiny new tube in the same spot. Hope you don’t mind. !! Nice old bridge and views
Thanks South-West and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

The little tram is so cute. I might go for a ride in it. I ride on its big cousins in Melbourne frequently. Found the cache quickly and easily.
Down this way for a few days away before heading back to work. We set up camp and went out to explore. First cache of the day was this one. Tftc
After setting up camp we headed out to explore and cache. I’m surprised there aren’t many people around. Tftc
When I found this one, I thought it had been muggled because I could only find a lid, until closer inspection found another container. Cigc. Tftc
Out for a short bike ride and we saw this cache. Found nice and quickly, and was able to sign and replace without being spotted. Tftc
Stopped in Portland for a bit of lunch then parked to admire the view, had to pick this cache up as it was nearby
