Grabbing a few different hides while passing through the area.An easy enough find at GZ.Thanks tassieexpat for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Im glad I found this quickly and the traffic wasnt as bad as I thought it may have been.
Found at 15:32Stopped for a quick find while in our way home from the beach. Thanks tassieexpat for the cache
With the weather predicted to be good today we had decided earlier in the week to head down to Phillip Island and try our luck there as it has been over three years since our last visit. Although the weather didn't keep up it's end of the bargain as it was quite overcast for the first bit of the day and the wind was absolutely relentless we still had a fantastic day. This was our first for the day and we need this one for one of our 360 degrees from home challenge so we certainly weren't going to drive passed. We pulled up near gz and we were quite happy when no one else was here and with a limited amount of hiding places we guessed where the cache might be and not long after getting out of the car ewe were adding our name to the log book before returning everything as it was. Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.
Tftc quick second cache to round up grand final morning. Drove past this literaly thousands of times.
Quick find after such an amazing day riding in the nature reserve. Thanks for this one ??
We are staying at Jam Jerrup for the weekend for a friend’s 60th birthday party, dressing up in 60’s gear! The party was last night and was lots of fun! We checked out of the holiday accommodation this morning and headed back towards Corinella, stopping for a few caches on the way. This was next on the agenda as we are heading home towards Melbourne. We spotted a cache with a few FP’s so decided to divert down this road. Cache was a nice easy find.

Quick park and grab. A nice container too. Just as well as it started to rain heavily! thanks for the quick find tassieexpat!
I failed on making this cache find a drive by, GZ was slightly overshot. But we had the right idea of were it would be.
Out for another days caching with Tiz13, the weather was perfect and we had plenty of laughs along the way as we picked up some caches to help complete challenges and a couple of oh yes puzzle solves.
This is one of the caches found today. A quick pull over and the obvious spot was searched.
Thanks tassieexpat For the cache.

TFTC! Nice quick find - once we did a bit too much bush bashing after the GPS threw us off
I've driven past this one many times but was nice to realise that there was a cache here! Quick find with not much traffic passing by while I was there. TFTC!

#2060 En Route to Inverloch and decided to please the GPS and take it's suggested route rather than the one I normally take along the coast. Pulled over and was surprised to discover how busy this road is. Took a couple of mins to get clear of traffic to both retrieve and then rehide this cache. TNLNSL. TFTC tassieexpat.
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there tassieexpat,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Easy find. Lid of the container is missing but surprisingly log is still dry
Found with PapaGrouch and WeRAmused. Pulled over and found the cache. As others have mentioned the lid is missing but the log is fine. TFTC
First find on a little trip to Port Welshpool with my muggle dad, this was his first introduction to geocaching and even though it takes a lot to impress him I think that by the end of our trip he was a little bit more enthusiastic about it lol. Unfortunately this cache was less than impressive since it was missing its lid completely and the log was just lying next to the container without any cover! luckily the log was dry so i was able to sign but the best I could do with it was to place the container on top of it which will only give it a little bit of protection. This cache definitely needs some TLC! TFTC!
Today's adventure was to go geocaching (yes, that means FTF Hounding) down on Point Smythe near Venus Bay. Also to collect whatever other caches caught my eye on route and while there. Looks like 13 caches found and only 1 DNF.
First cache of the day, and I'm sick of driving past this Green Geocache symbol on my map and not stopping. I suspect I have time to collect it, without worrying that the FTF will be taken. Pleased to change it to a now.
Thanks for the cache Tassie Expat

A nice quick and easy find. No problems.
No lid found on the cache, but lovely and dry considering recent rain!
It’s got good cover!

Quick find and had a nearby Muggle also stopping for a phone call.
I had to choose my time wisely here until they got back in the car.
Then I made a grab and soon had my name on the log.
The lid is missing from the container, but shouldn’t be a problem with the rite in the rain paper log.
All looks good.
I visited 5 TB.

Nice little walk up in the only place it could be but we'll hidden, Geograndie loved having to be extra sneaky with so many cars going past, pretty sure he has never looked more guilty haha...little swap left
Nice easy find here. Spotted the likely hiding spot and the cache straight away, just had to to work out where to put my hands to retrieve it. Log is dry and all is good. Thanks for the fun
Finally got to stop and get this one. Have passed by so many times but always somebody parked there. Maybe they were geocaching too? Tftc tassieexpat
Today, RoamingHowie and I decided to go and explore part of Sth Gippsland.
Found out in the open. Returned to its obvious location.

This was my first weekend in Melbourne for months, owing to some birthday and other engagements. Saturday was free however so I teamed up with OzHockeyChick to go exploring for the day.
We had to battle with some muggles who were pulled over for privacy here. In the end the cache was out in the open on the ground. We replaced it nearby in it’s likely hiding spot.
Thanks tassieexpat for the cache.

A trip to Fish Creek to visit awphoto with BettyBoo3747.
Collected a few odd caches on the way down (many still disabled unfortunately).
Off the Bass Highway and onto the South Gippsland Highway, this was out first stop for the day.
A quick leg stretch and a find.
Thanks, Robmc.

We were on the move again today with ilook4geo and just picking up a few caches along the route as we went. This was a nice easy cache to find and all was in good condition. Signed the log, put everything back as it had been found and headed off again. Thanks go to tassieexpat for placing this cache.
Heading for a different campsite today with goingplaces2. Wanted some caches to keep the streak going. This was one we picked which was found, signed and replaced. TFTC.

Easy find but hard to get out of place. Used the stick on the ground which is probably he same one others used. TFTC
Good parking when approached from the west and found in the obvious spot but unfortunately the log was found absolutely saturated
Replaced with a sheet of notepad which will suffice for a while (providing it stays dry!)
Many thanx to tassieexpat for adding to our short day trip down south

I was driving down to Wonthaggi for a work meeting and with a bit of time to spare, I was taking a slightly longer route through Loch to look for some caches along the way. My arrival at this cache was nicely timed as the passing rain had indeed passed. A relatively easy find accompanied by a local dog that was so friendly it even tried getting my car.
Thanks **tassieexpat** for putting this cache here.

Today I headed out to Stoney Creek to do one of my old passions which was before Geocaching, that was Go Kart racing but along the way there was no reason why I couldn't stop for a few geocache finds, this was one of them.
A quick pull over here there was a quick find, the log was signed and I was on my way.

Quick easy find road is very quiet today. Was lucky to get a break from the torrential rain.
Picked up on the way down to PI, almost couldn't fit my hand in there. Where are my gloves?

Oh, boy have these logs been on the back burner……… with the combination of a long hiatus and my phone with all my saved cache data of the ones I had yet to log being supposedly lost. With my eng/comp sci friend who managed to mess around with the phone and recover the data….. hooray time to celebrate. So that's why these logs are so late…. either thanks for the cache and the adventure….. and sorry for the generic log.
