After completing the nearby multi, I dropped past this sneaky hide on the way back to my car.I found it in the first place that I looked, but was not certain that it was the cache until I managed to retrieve it. What an interesting container. The first one that I have found like this. Thanks for the caches and the walk in the park.
It's been 3 years since I didn't find this, but in those years I've got just a bit more experience! A quick find today, thanks.
First find adventuring with geokadude, geodog Hondo, and a new geofriend. TFTC
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks Alsume for the cache.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 160Sidetracked Cache Finds: 131Out and about with Real Acts on a cold Melbourne morning. We started in the city and hit the burds after. As always a great day of caching fun. This is one of the caches we found, Cheers for the cache.
This took a while I put it down to the fact that it had started to rain. IT had nothing to do with me being cache blind. That's my story. Thanks
*Back On The Bike Adventure #3*Clearly I'm doing these Walkies ones completely out of whack! Thanks heaps for the cache!
I found this cache today on my Mega Geocaching Walk #12 - a 35,500 step walk from Glenroy Station, through Strathmore Heights, Oak Park, Pascoe Vale and on to Coburg Station. I saw my quarry and chose the most likely side for the cache to be. Of course, it was the other side. Thanks from D B-A
Busy with the retrieval and a muggle runner decides to stop and stretch or die.. hmm lets hope he is too focused on survival to worry about what is underway

After participating in a CITO in Coburg this morning, I decided to pop across Moonee Ponds Creek to hunt a few more caches so I have completed the Moonee Valley LGA for the **WCW - The 80/20 Rule Challenge**. This cache was easily spotted if you approach it from the right direction. Thanks **Alsume** for putting this cache here.
This one was less troll than I was expecting (and I'm glad it wasn't - there were a lot of webs!) A nice little container. TFTC
Out for a lovely walk this afternoon with most of team_roberts1 hunting a few caches and by now we were looping back towards where we started - and go for #1 in the series. We were on the other side of the creek so had to use the bridge. Kristy came up with the goods this time. Thanks to Alsume for this one
This cache didn't take as long as anticipated. Only the one muggle snuck up on me, but they generally don't bother paying me too much attention.
Found it, but this area is packed with muggles on a Saturday morning with people going on walks etc. I advise coming in a non peak time. Thanks for the cache
Cool cash may not be in the spot that it’s supposed to be because when I found it had a magnet and where was didn’t really need a magnet, trying not to give us so much away but happy cashing
At attempt #4 along this trail, I didn’t think I had any hope. Found quickly however, logged and I’m on my way again.
My spidey senses completely kicked in when I found it, first place I looked! However my buddy didn’t have the same luck haha. TFTC!
No chance. Way to many people around. Can’t even get a 30 sec window. So annoying
Found at 12:01 pm.
OzHockeyChick had the new scooter to try out so we headed over this way with hergab69 and muggle hubby (who came in extremely handy) to a patch a caches that none of us had found and that were also bike path friendly.
I went under the wrong side of the bridge here but a short crawl through the long grass soon had that issue fixed. Lid a little stiff but we got there.
Thanks Alsume for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

A day out on the scooters with hergab69, her muggle hubby and spiffy-.
A break in the stream of muggles allowed spiffy- to crawl around and find the cache.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Alsume

Someone had to get down and dirty to get this one. Spiffy drew the short straw. Found while Out on the scooters with OzHockeyChick and Spiffy. TFTC
Nice to see a local logo on the container hidden on this less usual style of ironwork. TFTC
Last cache for the morning, after a very successful 10 finds from 10 in a couple of hours. Not a bad morning's effort and a very pleasant walk along the creek. This one was just a matter of who had picked the correct side. It turned out to be __Cat__, but I'll take it. TFTC!
Oh for the days when trolls lived safely under bridges & off the Internet. Quick find, with the economy sized cache just too cosy a fit for my TB. Left the troll in peace for another day. TFTC!0
At last, I was wondering where my next find was going to come about. Thanks Alsume for your great hide.

Keeping up the exercise to work off the excess Easter eggs that didn’t make it to their intended recipients. A nice quick find without too much effort. Log is damp. TFTC
Found by Aussie Train Driver 26/02/2020, find number 1530.
Final find for the day during my afternoon walk along the creek with the geo-wife. This one could have taken much longer to find but I was fortunate to spy the cache quickly. No muggles were seen and the log was signed and cache replaced safely. TFTC.

AngéliqueAnja has broken away from Team ZACAATT for a day to take the bike out and grab some caches on Tally Tiger's goal to make 1,000 caches in 1 year. Thanks to the CO for your useful hints! Found easily when I was looking in the right direction.

We found this one. Very clever hide but the cache was full of water! CO has been messaged!
Happy to turn this into a smiley today, definitely a unique container but a familiar type of hide. Trust your instincts! SL TFTC
The GeoMutt and I managed to get the whole Walkies series today, although we started at the other end. He is a young terrier, and was exhausted by the end as he's doesnt quite have the stamina of a border collie! I had to tie up Howard a bit futher than usual to get this one, luckily it was a quick find so I was back to him before he started crying. Thanks for the cache and series!
Nice cool day for caching, and a nice walk along this trail.
A quick and reasonable find.
Thanks Alume

Found while out scooting with the kiddies. So far we have beaten the rain, lets hope it continues. TFTC
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Alsume for the cache.
Didn’t have my trusty geowhippet out with me today who would have loved coming on “walking” along this track. Had to suffice for human company of Pac-Man Jacko83 and Tritonz - an okay bunch I guess :p TFTC
The start of the walk for some, the end of the walk for us. Time to peddle bacl to the car, where icy poles await. Thanks for the series so far.
While cycling around the area finding the last of the Parkville caches before they are archived we branched out to these nearby caches.
After a lengthy and needed lunchbreak we made our way north from Esslemont Reserve to do this Walkies series. No dogs or walkies for us out here - it was cycling all the way.
Accurate co-ords led to a quick find. We were starting to feel the 30 degree heat, so decided to start heading back.
Thanks Alsume.

Have flown down to Melbourne from Sydney for a 2 week training course at the Melbourne Tullamarine Airport Air Traffic Control Centre, but my main interest will be in collecting as many Victorian (VK3 in HAM radio terms) caches as possible during my free time away from the workplace. My primary caching target areas will be the Woodlands Historic Park (with it’s 100 plus caches), the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, the Outer Circle Railway Trail, the Donaldson’s Creek Trail, the Ruffey Creek Trail, Eltham (Diamond Valley Railway), and the suburbs surrounding my Essendon apartment. This was the 5th of 10 finds for the day, and the 45th of 242 finds for the trip.
After finishing the day's training I headed back to the Essendon apartment to get changed, then headed out to grab some more caches along the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail, heading northward up the creek towards the Albion Viaduct (railway bridge).
Another nice quick find along the trail, but I did check the wrong side first. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Alsume.

Finally found it after leaving my doggy companion behind on this walk so I could have a proper look without her complaining about stopping! Nice little hiding spot.
Luckily I chose the correct side for a quick find. Nice piece of local promotion on the container, too. Cheers!
A string of caches I had in mind and Moonee Ponds Creek Trail looked good on the map for exploring by cycle. Nice to see people out and about in the fresh air. Loved the range of caches and clever hides. TFTC
The only problem with this find was outlasting the slowly moving muggles without looking like I was loitering. A cleverly recycled container. Tftc.
I had a Saturday free to cache so I got in touch with the Rev to see if he wanted to come out and try a few. He was free till midday so I picked him up at 8 and we headed to the Moonee Ponds creek trail to check a few along here. Having found a few further down the creek we walked on to this one. Having been on our best behaviour and making sure we didn't walk behind the bowler's arm at the local kids cricket we arrived at GZ for this one. The hint was very helpful and Rev was the one who chose the right side and quickly found this one. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series Alsume.
Excellent little hide, where it should be, nice find with the junior cricket on

After a nice short holiday in Australia we dropped off our campervan at Apollo's and walked our way back to Strathmore finding some caches on the way. Most of them where easy finds, but some kept us busy for a while. Thansk for hiding!
I had to pick up a slide for the kids from Airport West this morning so I decided to do a few hours caching while I was out this way. I saw this nice looking strip of parkland which was chock full of caches - so I was on my way! A nice quick find here after a few DNFs in a row - thank goodness! Ha, onto the next one TFTC!
Decided to head out for a short morning stroll with our new geo pup Roxy the blonde border collie. Her first cache find! We loved the walk along the creek. TFTC
I found a couple of the walkies series earlier in the year and meant to come back along the trail and complete the rest, so here I am. A great walk along the creek with caches to find along the way. Life is good.

In town for the MEGA and thought we would spend the day collecting caches along this trail, headed out on the train with our bikes 20kms ahead and many hides along the way. Two flat tyres and a couple of DNF's many, many muggles that snuck up very quickly.
A quick ride by and a quick find.

Find number 4377. My first day in Australia as part of a 10 trip to the Mega. After a 6 am flight from Auckland I had the day to fill before meeting my brother. I decided to walk some of this trail before catching a tram to the city.
On reaching GZ I had to drop my pack and kill some time as a couple of muggles and their dogs crossed the bridge. Then a quick flick with my pen and I had the cache in hand. I drive a VW passat back in NZ. Thank you for the placement.

Moonee Ponds Creek has undergone a total transformation over the years! Today as we pedaled around 18 kms along the trails collecting smiley tokens, P-P relived his childhood adventures among the tall gum trees, rocks, ferocious thistles and scented aniseed. as he grew up in Strathmore.
Having met Shadow along the trail earlier in the day, it was interesting to check out a few favourite spots.
It was quirky to see a "Lost Dog" sign close to the track.
Thanks to 'Alsume' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Removed the old cache that had mysteriously reappeared within a metre or two of the replacement cache in the intended location.
Found while doing a cache run with Blackbird937, Cachemstr & Craycraymstr. An unusual feature found at this location which is not that often seen. TFTC.
Nice detour from the Moonnee Ponds Creek Trail. Doing it with Melbmatt50 and my sons Cachemstr and Craycraymstr. Cachemstr found an eclipse tin at the same time as Melbmatt50 found what we believe was the cache. Suspect the eclipse tin was a throwdown or an old archived cache. Signed both and on our way.
