There are so many spots a cache could be I wasn't confident of a find here but spot on co ords had me at the right location and after a little search I came up trumps!

Slow walk around the grounds. Had a scout Jamboree here a long time ago. looks different now.
second time here, the GPS puts me on the wrong side of the tracks which is the same issue I had last time, reading further back I now know I am to stay on the cycle path side on the other side - had a good hunt well the best I could with a rugby game going on across the road until next time
I'm enjoying these hides around the show grounds. Nicely done. Wouldn't of found this without reading the hint. TFTC

Cleverly hidden and found while having a leisurely caching expedition in the area. *TFTC bchefj&p, #8819*
Up in Hastings for a regional Scout & Venturer camp for the entire weekend. Really wanted to collect a few caches, and towards the end of Saturday, as the youth chilled out, had the opportunity to take a couple of hours to wander around the showgrounds. Really enjoyed this one. didn't take too long to find, but this was something i haven't seen before, so enjoyed that - gets a fav point from me.

Quick find once I was in the right spot. Felt a bit nervous being so close to the railway tracks. To help future cachers, you don't need to cross the tracks if you are already on the side that has the cycle path (my map showed the cache as being on the opposite side of the tracks). Tftc
Clever hide. Master 10 found it after I had moved on. 6 out of 6 for this series. Thanks for setting them all up.

Couldn't even look for this cache, a lot of men around this area today, seem to be testing the railway crossing lights
nice to finish this series off was unable to finish this one when i did the rest as cell phone rung and i had to drive right past it so back here today made a stop for a quick find aroha and happy caching Quick find as i used the hint 
A quick stop in passing and surprisingly I found it quite quickly despite my DNF here on my last visit.

[blue]One of those occasions I try to avoid where I had to use the clue. I'd almost convinced myself that I was looking for a magnetic, always a fatal mistake. Easy find then, just like a clue is supposed to work.[/blue]

This was the one that frustrated us so much the first time! Found it right away this time! Log is damp
On my bike home this afternoon and gave this one a crack as I had to go right past it! Found quickly, but well hidden. Thanks for the smiley.
A agree with chubznz, published co-ords are actually the railway signals tower, but I'm pretty sure it's not there.
Nice hide. Might need maintenance soon though. Might pay to keep an eye on it. TFTC.
