Traveled to the Copper Triangle and the Mid-North for a weekend of caching. Drove up via Roseworthy through to Balaklava on the Saturday, on a very convoluted route to search for caches along the way, before heading across for the dinner event at Moonta. Camped out nearby for the night and attended the early morning CITO in Paskeville, then toured the back-roads around Bute to complete The Big Question series with e.gregory1. Spent the rest of the Sunday around Snowtown and Lochiel before heading for home. Thanks for the cache LB!

Found, eventually, by The Boofs while out on a drive TFTC

Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Nuriootpa to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Drizzly day but the farmers definitely need it. Sticking to the black and the white roads only. Thanks 3LG

Another DNF for us today..We had no idea really and the photo clue from a previous finder didnt help us at all. Just means well have to pass back through this way another day. Cemetery was interesting..thanks for bringing us out this way.

12-Dec-23
Found it! Got out the car and crunch, the ground was covered in millipedes. After going into the cemetery I realized I had gone too far. Turned around, a little bit of climbing involved and this one was found, everything was a bit damp after a lot of rain in the last couple of days but managed to sign without any issues. TFTC!

Detoured on way to Adelaide and pick up some caches around this area. TFTCHad to get the small stepladder as I wasn't tall enough to reach it from it's hiding spot.

Spent the day doing a family history tour with Mum around Hamley Bridge, as my grandfather was born there, plus finding caches along the way.
Saw the terrain rating and had a look, and there it was!

Having a sleep in this morning[|)] and when I awoke at about 9am there was a new cache about 40km odd North of meSurprised
Rang one of the usual suspects and said 'if you're already there, I'm not getting out of bed'RazzWink[^]
Almost 2 hours later and no reply[?]Surprised so I figured that I was safe to leave now[^], hence Rex and I started our drive on a glorious day more reminiscent of spring than winter[:X]Cool[^]

We stopped at Hamley Bridge for fuel and it's been a while since I've used a pump like that oneSurprisedBig Grin
By the time we got home for tea we had 5 Smilecaches found for the day[^]
Rex had run about 5 or 6km on different dirt roadsBig Grin[^] so he was definitely tired[|)][^] and I'd laughedSurprisedBig Grin when I saw Otter61's name in a cache at Mallalla with today's date on itSurprised[?]Big Grin Not sure who is stalking who latelyRazzBig GrinWinkSmile

I was sitting at the cemetery gates reading, after having had a phone call, and Rex was lying in some shade after having checked out the whole area and sniffed out any rabbits and foxesBig Grin[^][|)]
Another vehicle drove inSurprised and of course Rex had to check them out tooWink and luckily they approved of this[^]
I had guessed where the cache was and that I'd need a TOTTTwistedTwisted
As the couple were going to be looking for old family history for some time, I decided that I'd better let them know what I was planning to do, too[^]
So cache found and replaced[^] and we waved and left the cemetery to the historians[^]Smile

I’m also happy to add another smiley face after locating the cache, a very sneaky hide, & signing & dating the log before returning the cache back to its hiding spot.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel. Today we arrived in Hamley Bridge.

Using geocaching as our tour guide, we set out today on a round trip from Hamley Bridge to Owen and return via Barabba.

We started the APM series on our drive from Balaklava to Mallala, and returned today to cache a few more.
That took us way too long, found in the last place we looked of course (sometimes it is in the first place) Favourite point awarded. There was one comment that helped know where to look.

Thanks 3LG

23-Mar-19
This arvo I headed out after work to try and find enough caches to get to 8000.
Mission accomplished.
What a fab afternoon it was, love country caching and today was perfect for it. Not too hot. Enjoyed the scenery and finding lots of regular sized caches. Even better didn’t encounter any snakes or other scary wildlife.
Unfortunately had to stay back at work for an hour so didn’t manage to get to all the caches on my list but that didn’t spoil the afternoon.
Now hoping my Pies can win this last quarter then this will have been a real good day.
Do enjoy a cemetery cache and this was a really good one. TFTC 3LG clever hide

Another Tuesday caching day with Mrs. SA Sewer Rat and Blackadders. Today we thought we might head north to clear up a few more DNF's and grab any other caches we might be passing. Cool

Found by Mary & David at 1105. Oh what a morning - cemetery #3 and another FP! We have already been to Boot Hill and St Benedict's Church graveyard. Not quite the 5 stars of the latter, but as you might guess, Mary was appalled and aghast by the incorrect spelling on the entrance gates. The cemetery is small, fairly modern, but still much of interest to see here. Simple, plain, relatively unadorned headstones. Probably more to do with texts than with ornate carving. We hadn't seen the broken rose as used for the young 19 year old before, or the upside down bouquets. Now we're off to Macaw Creek Cemetery. Our thanks to 3LG.

Out and about with the Crazy Geo Driver and Rat Dog.

OMG I thought I was going to be stuck out here for ever....LOL....I was following a BIG 4WD, but the one problem with this plan was that my vehicle was not really built for the conditions we were driving through today!

Eeeek.....my self talk included...."just do what the car in front is doing, speed up, drive on the side of the track, oh what did the car in front do then??.....oh no, that is sand - I hope I don't sink....oh nooooo, that is water......... oh no, that mud makes my car slip and slide...oohhhh noooo......ohhh yay....we made it to the cache...hooray!!"

So I am thrilled I actually made it, and then out again in order to log this find! AND just quietly, it may have actually been a little bit of fun to drive out there!

Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend on the Yorke Peninsula.

This was my last find on the return trip home with geobuddies after attending the "Footloose on the Foot" dinner event in Warooka the previous night.

A fun drive to this spot. The fire had missed GZ and all around. There is still a lot of devastation. Luckily the residents were all safe and tucked up, as was the cache. [^][8)]

Thanks to 3LG and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Thank you Moses on the move for confirming this one is good to be back online, cache is now ready to be found again.

02-Jan-16
I was here to see if any damage had been done to the graves. The cache is still safely in its place and should be put back on line.

17-Dec-15
Passed by with a BlazeAid crew fixibg fences after yhe fires three weeks ago, and had a quick look, but no cache spotted. There were peiple waiting inthe car, and it was 40C, so it may still be there. The fire had burnt right to the gate of the cemetery, so a previous finder might want to check.

25-Nov-15
Going by the CFS map this area was completely burnt by the bushfire.

As we did not have a ladder with us, the next best thing was to use Aussie Mary's step, that Nancy uses to get into the Koleos. This helped but we still needed to use our legally blind CPwanderer to step up to the plate and the step to get this cache.

05-Oct-15
Found while out caching with Aussie Mary and Doctor Owl. TFTC.

05-Oct-15
Having eliminated the other possibilities, Owl and Mrs M made the legally blind CP stand on a stool to reach the cache. The things that are done to find a cache!
