Logs
Tftc easy find. I think logbook needs replacing, it's soaking wet and falling apart
Very well hidden! First I came across part of a geocaching log in the grass. Concentrating on that area I then located the container by touch. Log found outside returned to the container however a replacement log is really required; TFTC
Tftc. Very windy spot. A few weeks ago I tried to walk sign of the bellbird to coopers knob but had to turn back cos of the wind at this point. Finally did the walk today, but still a bit breezy
I was entertainer by a hang glider here which often seems to be hovering in one place before moving again. It was quite fascinating to watch, TFTC # 18,778
I found this cache while on vacation in New Zealand Thank you for the experience Greetings from Germany
On the way to Christchurch we made a stop at this beautiful location. Cool road round the Cooper's knob.

Nice quick find, although was a surprised to see some local wildlife firmly attached to cache. Managed to sign log and return without disturbing them.
Found it, great walk. Paper inside Co trainer is wet. Would have fallen apart if I unravelled.
With rustynz on a caching adventure to Christchurch. Discovering now that the wrong dates where written in the logs
Loving driving the Summit road, and finding a few caches along the way. Thanks for the hide

With rebel98 on a short trip away to Christchurch. All our dates written in the logs are wrong woops, luckily this online log is the correct date
Having fun finding caches along the Summit Road, not our plan, but with fine weather, decided why not!
Another fun find, thanks Aslan*, no hang gliders today

#18167. It was lucky it was a short walk to the GZ, as we were exposed to a bitter easterly blowing down the harbour. I made a quick find (being on the correct side of the hint object). TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a caching mission to the Port Hills to find 6 caches for a calendar challenge we have set ourselves.
Good that we could park close to GZ (not much traffic here on a week day) and make a quick find. TFTC.

Came up to pick up monkey trackable to take to Greymouth and thought we'd do a few caches along the way. GPS was playing around so used geo-sense and soon had the cache in hand.
TFTC Aslan, what a stunning view.

Well, again no view this evening, but good to walk a wee bit and find some caches. TFTC
Iris was in Wellington and I had wanted to do some Summit Road and Diamond Harbour. geocaches for some time. Set off at 9am. Found 14. DNF 2. Drove 90km and walked about 4km. This was cache number 3 and an easy one. Beautiful spring day up here. Thanks for the cache and the exercise. Rodney
After dropping my kids off at the start of the Crater Rim race I headed back to the finish line in Christchurch via a few geocaches. The cache was quickly found and while sitting in the car working out which one to tackle next I saw some runners coming through.

I came out tonight to try to catch the Southern Lights. Well, I never quite found them, so I thought I might as well look for some caches! Happy this one was nearby. All in good shape.

Another stop on the summit road to admire the views and a quick find for Mr CD. We had hoped to reach the plaque of the pioneer women but found the road is still closed to traffic and too hot to walk today. TFTC
Nice spot with great views. The herd of cows were watching us from across the road. Easy enough find on our walk round part of the Crater Rim. TFTC.
The weather forecast being less than promising we decided to do a series of drive-by caches and short walks rather than our customary Sunday afternoon walks.
Quick find. TFTC

Looked like sunny and clear day for a Sunday drive. Mist and wind up here anyway. Quick found. TFTC.
A beautiful day for a walk and some caching. This cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Another great view from our beautiful Port Hills.......lucky us!! Lots of cyclists out on road today enjoying Easter Day. We will be back sometime to get the remaining of these Summit Road caches. Its been a wonderful day of caching ......
I like the cache container ... it felt kind of retro. An excellent location for taking photos too. Thanks Aslan*.
During my Geocache day at the Summit Road I had of course a stop at this Cache.
Wonderful view

FITW TikvaNZ, Fox in Jox, AngelG27 [sometimes signed as Team F.A.I.T.]
Another intermission on our DT series day. Wanted to stop at the "the best view" cache as well but missed the parking for that. Have to do with just "a view" for now.

AngelG27, TikvaNZ and I have travelled from Canberra to find caches from the D/T 81 Series that we had managed to solve by ourselves, or as a team (some with nudges along the way from COs or previous finders). We were joined by IVSS_XX, so we decided to log as team F.A.I.T. for brevity.
I like to get D2 T2 caches, as thy keep the total above D1.5 T1.5 caches. Just a little personal challenge of mine. TFTC Aslan*

This trip to NZ was long planned, with the DT 81 series the main focus. TikvaNZ, Fox and I did lots of puzzle solving in preparation, many solved individually, but others solved cooperatively and some with a little push. Today was the day to make good on our solves and we headed out with Ivss_xx (signed as FAIT) to collect a stack of them. It was a long day, but we grabbed around 50 of them, with a few others thrown in for good measure. Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found in good order and in accordance with the hint.
Another random cache collected on the way. But we needed to stay focussed on mission!
Thanks for the cache and the fun!

Easy find - cache in good condition. On the saddle nearby, people were flying a model plane around - good fun on a perfect winter's day. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2503)
A beaut day for a drive along the Summit Rd,although sad to reflect on the recent devastating Fires.TFTH
I had a great time finding caches along the summit road today! The whole area was very quiet and the views were great. TFTC!
Doing the drive along the top with Karma Reprint, this was a quick find. Cheers
A fabulous day to go caching with The Burnsy. We decided to drive around Summit Road and pick up a few caches. Burnsy had an injured foot and I had an injured neck so we made a pretty good pair. Our tactic for the day was to stick to caches closest to the road, so as not to strain ourselves. Burnsy made a quick find when we got to GZ. Tftc.
More great views, definitely a cold breeze this morning which was obvious by the windsock being horizontal. TFTC
Enjoying holidaying down South with tmann421. More wet weather today.
A nice quick find for us. TFTC

Quick find on fantastic day. Forgot a pen so no log sorry. Very nearly fell near the fence, that would have hurt. Cheers.
A delightful day with clear skies and a light breeze which was much to the liking of the hang gliders. The geocache was a bonus. TFTC.
A day out caching and exploring on my way to Diamond Harbour. Not too windy here today. Made my way to GZ where the cache was found shortly there after - TNLNSL. Thanks for the placement Asian*.
Found when out with dandynz geojunior on a glorious sunny day. beautiful view of the crater, blue water and sky. tftc
I was out with BaldEd picking some caches that he hadn't signed off and needless to say that I hadn't signed off. This was one just for me.
Cheers for the cache.
