Stopped off to eat my lunch and did a check and there is a cache across the road. Soon found. A unique hide and cache OK
Thanks for your amazing cache wiskey64. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Rather difficult to extract the log. Still dry and one side still available. Found with Fisha1288. Earns a Favourite from me. Cheers, Cympull.
A nice set up here which was easily spotted on approach. Then had to locate the log. Many thanks
Nice quick park and grab. The local cache protectors were out in force today, two very friendly woolly ones and a giant black spider that rushed up B's hand when he retrieved the log, causing him to squeal loudly and flick it and the log deep into the paddock. The log was retrieved, signed and replaced. TFTC.
Away for the weekend to ride a section of the Hauraki Rail Trail from Waihi. This afforded me the opportunity to snag some caches en route. Ah ha! I have a similar cache down in Nelson so I wondered if it was the cache as I pulled up nearby. Shielded from the nearby houses I ducked in, had a fiddle and was soon signing the log. Thanks whiskey64#5065Logged using Cachly.
Mr NZT put the call out for who would like to join him for a walk and potentially some park and grabs afterwards. So, Mr HeMaLuDy contacted him and a plan was formed. Having completed the walk and with the afternoon free we made a plan to pick up some park and grabs. This is genuine a park and grab. Grateful for a quick find as it was raining heavily. Loved the camo on this cache. Fav point given. TFTC
Am in need of some walking time to prepare for an upcoming tramp around Stewart Island. Was suggested to attempt the Mt Williamson walk just after the Bombay Hills. This walk would be a good starter and as there were several caches on the walk it all made sense. So headed out with Mr HeMaLuDy for an attempt. Having completed this relatively easily and with most of the afternoon free we decided to attempt a few more caches. Eventually ending up as far south as Morrinsville... Mad cachers... NAH!Still pouring down so another dash from the car to GZ. Thankfully log was quickly retrieved and signed.TFTC
It's day twenty of this months Wheel of Challenges challenge, the streak, and today I needed to find a cache. So I found this one.
Having spent the night in Pukawa, today I was making my way north to Hamilton, and then across to Whiritoa, and then down to Tauranga. I had a handful of specific caches marked to find along the way for various reasons.
This one was on my list as the coordinates help me with a challenge cache I am trying to complete. No problem finding the cache here, although I cant help but feel it is not in the condition it was intended to be.
---
Thanks to whiskey64 for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.

Tftc. This was a fun one and a good stop behind slow traffic:) no pen so photo
On my way north on roads less traveled.
Spotted the cache straight away, hmm how does this work?
With log retrieved, another smiley.
Thanks for the history and the hide

This is such a cool cache! Definitely worth a favorite. Sadly have none to give. I pass by this spot regularly and was fun to find on this Easter Day. Very clever. Thanks so much
Day 14 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today we are in the area and surrounding area of Hamilton. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.

Nice and easy. Got some strange looks from some muggles looking through their windows
Found the cache however the paper had pushed to far into the cache to get out with fingers and was blocked by hundreds of baby spiders so left signing this one haha
Visiting family, took my niece and nephew out to show them geocaching. Quick find. TFTC.
Cool cache. No logbook. Put in a piece of paper but probably won't last long. TFTC

A fun little cache container, we found Gorby had added his own log (I guess thinking it was missing) so we put it in with the actual logsheet - TFTC

I have a plan today to visit Hamilton Cemetery to suss out a plaque for my grandmother then visit Mike-miss in their new home south of Morrinsville. These guys shifted from Auckland a few months ago and I have been invited to lunch…nice! Also, need a few caches to start of the new Science of Discovery souvenirs that came into effect 2 days ago.
Have finished lunch awhile ago now, thought I would come here seeing as this cache has some high FP's. It is a neat cache too. Thanks for placing it, now to gradually head back to Auckland.

Clever hide! Figured out where the cache was pretty easily, finding the log took abit of thought. Thanks for the fun cache!
A quick stop to break the trip home.
Loved the cache holder!!
Tricky to find the log.

After biking part of the Hauraki Rail Trail today, a very pleasant summer’s day, we were heading back to Morrinsville and stopped to pick up this one. As others have said, spotting what look like the cache wasn’t difficult. It just took a little while to figure out which part contained the necessary papers! Our last cache for the day. Thanks for the effort which has gone into this one, whiskey64! #3588. TFTC.
#8802. I have been up in Auckland for the past week and now its time to drive back home to Wellington. The trip home is never a quick or straight one when you have geocaches to locate and bird watching places to explore. I diverted to look at the shorebirds at Miranda and picking up some caches on the way. After the bird watching it was time to head south. Diverted once more down this side road. Soon spied the cache. I like these types hidden in plain view but unlikely to be muggled. After checking a few options to see which parts moved I finally uncovered the logbook. Signed the log and replaced everything as found. Thanks whiskey64 for hiding it here. Cool cache container. Thanks for the effort made to hide this one.
Nice easy find on my way through back to Auckland! Cool cache. Not sure if I got it out the right way but I did sign the log. TFTC
Wow... I needed an engineering degree to get to this logbook. Got there eventually after dismantling pretty much everything that moved. No worries... all put back together safe and sound. At least this was an actual geocache- the last thing I dismantled was an actual Telecom cable connection box... oops. Had a lot of laughs. Many thanks for this well constructed cache.
Great hide. Took me a few minutes to get it. Found a piece of pepper with the previous log but no other. So not convinced that was the actual log. CO should check it out.
Today I'm starting my road trip home from Auckland to Nelson with my newly acquired convertible cachemobile. I'm going to be finding a few caches along the way. A clever cache construction here. TFTC, Biggles.
This is my first cache for 2020! Lovely little area and thanks to a good clue we found this one relatively easily. TFTC
Quick find but took a while to figure out where the cache was. DIJN of course found it again.
A nice quick find today with Ms_KR. The hard part ws getting to the log, which we managed to do.
Christmas holiday road trip to Auckland time. Day ten Hamilton to Coromandel
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

First of the day on our annual summer road trip to Auckland whānau from Chch via 2 nights with daughter in Tamahere. Quick to find and slower to get! Karma Reprint had all the tools, none of which were necessary! Tftc
Taking the scenic route back home with themexikiwi and her mum and we couldn't resist stopping here to try our luck.
After an initial looksie we had a rough idea of what we were doing and the sneaky cache was soon in hand. Nicely put together and a welcome detour on the way. TFTC

Day Two of our 11 day binge trip we are signing as NNES. This one required me to think outside the square.
Yay school holidays! Time for a road trip with my friend Ethness. I flew from Christchurch to Wellington. The idea is to drive up to the top of the North Island and back. We planned the trip ages ago.
Thanks whiskey64 for placing this geocache 7739 find for me.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

First for the day. Husband away so out caching. Fav point for the cache container. Have driven past here 100s of times so good to tick this off. TFTC
Day 6 of a 7 day challenge, on our way to morrinsville stopped to collect this one. Love the hide. Thanks
Thanks for this cache. Had driven past here a few times and never had the chance to stop. MATM
Nice easy park and grab. Found these before but still worth a favourite for the attention to detail.
24/04/19 15:10 Good cache. These days, any roadside cache that actually has a point and an interesting container gets a fav from me. That rules out 99% of them... Bit confused on which paddock is available for Freedom Camping etc tho... Thanks, Cheers, GC.
Well have had this one on my list for awhile now, & got the chance to hunt for it today. It did not disappoint either, clever little hide! You wouldnt think it but this is a busy little place! Muggles everywhere. TFTC!
Spotted on arrival. Seen all sorts but this one was a bit different. Good cache. Travelling a few back roads today. Was a good day. Tftc
On a roadie with NZ Flossy. I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers
. On a small road trip with Mcjandals over to the Waikato. Lots of fun and good weather until the end and then it was time for home. Enjoyed some roads off the beaten track as the main ones were very busy. Think the farmers in the area will be glad of some rain. Thanks to all the COs for some great caches TFTC . Loved this one -log and cache all good

This was a quick find on the way to Paeroa.

We were with others who have found this cache in the past. Because of the distinctiveness of this particular hide, it’s clearly obvious whether it’s there or not. It’s not there, or at least that’s what they told us. It appears to have gone missing. On to the next cache then .....
With my afternoon largely free I decided to head out of the Auckland urban limit and take a drive in the country. I ended up heading into the Waikato country side. The weather started off fine enough, but I have now encountered a patch of gentle rain. I managed to park the car pretty close to GZ and got to searching. Initially I was a little stumped by this one, but I soon reconsidered something I had noticed earlier but not actually investigated. Yep, this had to be it. I had a bit of trouble locating the log, but, as it turns out, that was because it had fallen out of the container and onto the ground when I picked the ca he up. Replaced as found. Cheers for the cache placement!
Funny....!
Was a bit worried I'd need to figure out something very intelligent!
But all good....nice dry paper!
Thanks Whiskey64!

sure gets a fav from me so funny but well done cache. thankyou for the fun here.
1.25pm. Tried for this some time back but didn't stay for long because of the many muggles in the front yard across the road. No problem with muggles today and only moments to locate and retrieve the clever hide. A favourite from us.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
We decided to boost our Planetry Pursuit points to 1000 today, by collecting 8 well-favourited Waikato trads.
Our final cache for the day we left until our journey back to Auckland at the end of the day. This one looked intriguing, and we were not sure what to expect here. Spied something that immediately registered as our likely target, and sure enough we soon had the logsheet in hand. Really needs waterproof paper here, as the new log is already damp and covered in mould.
Loved the camo, and giving this one another Favourite point.

Great cache. Good title. The log has been replaced. My first target for today was to hit a dot day. My second to get the Mercury souvenir. Both achieved. TFTC. FP.
Stopped here on my way from Hamilton to Thames this morning. TNLN, log has been half eaten! TFTC whiskey64
Day two of my wee holiday in the Waikato region. I woke up this morning to the sound of steady rain on the tin roof of my awesome Airbnb tank room, but I don't let a bit of water stop me caching as I have a good jacket, wet weather pants and no problem with wet feet.
After a quick breakfast, I prepared lunch and a vague route for the day and was still out the door relatively early, with my main focus completing the New Zealand Icons series and making inroads into the Kiwi Art series.
Having finished the New Zealand Icon series by early afternoon, I was keen to make a start on the Kiwi Art series. Finished my planned route and as I was getting Hungary decided to leave the rest for tomorrow. But there’s still a bit of light left for a couple of caches on the way back to my accommodation.
Pulled up and spotted the likely hide and it didn’t take too long to get to the log book. TFTC

I searched the regular places while I scratched my head to figure out the cache name. Then, I saw something that fit the name and found the cache. I hope the people across the street are cachers. TFTC.
hahaha, Watch out for the telephone pipe! Catching up on our older logs. This was a bit of a laugh. Thanks for the cache during our lunch break.
Have been meaning to get this cache for over a year now since I started frequently driving between Hamilton and Thames...always saw it on the map but never stopped until today. Great container, went at it from the wrong side at first but got it in the end. Thanks for the cache!
Hubby and I set off for a 3 day trip in our motorhome. We headed for a place called Wharekawa on the Firth of Thames to stay a couple of nights. We were a bit concern as there had been lots of flooding and slips but we were lucky. I had sorted 19 geocaches to find on our journey. 10 on the way up, 3 while we were there and 6 on the way home. I have another 19 smiley faces. Good can park easily. Once parked I was out and spotted the cache. Took two goes to get the log out. It is quite damp. TFTC.
Quick stop on my way to the beach. Love the container. No trouble getting the log out. Thanks very much whiskey64
Stopped on our way home from a geocaching trip to add this one to the list. Loved the cache container, although the log book has gotten a bit wet. TFTC
Team BOP ( myself Philip.Perry and TNXPRO ) have a few solved puzzles in Auckland so planned a trip up to get as many as we could. Stopped of here on our way to Auckland all quiet here at this time of the morning didn't take tnxpro to long to.get the log sheet for us then it was back on the road to Auckland.

With a bag full of solved puzzles around Auckland, I teamed up once again with Davidson clan and Philip.Perry. Team BOP were reunited once again to gather as many solved puzzles as we had time to find in the two days we had allocated.
Of course there is always caches to find on the way up and since we had detoured of the main route, we had to stop for this. We cache was obvious and cool, but the extraction took at lot longer - it was tight. So tight in fact it left me with bruised palms.
A cool cache. Thanks.

On the way to Auckland on a puzzle mission and figured 'why wait?' The container was an easy find but the accessing the log took a little longer then it should have. Cool, unique - Cheers whiskey64, TFTC.
A great cache-definite favourite. Took a while to sort. Thanks for the challenge
Quickly twigged this one once at GZ. Retrieved, signed the log and replaced as found

On my way to Mega at Turangi for the weekend and thought I'd grab some park n grabs on the way. Thanks.
