Like others before me, I found myself on the opposite side of the path from the GZ when following my phone's GPS. However, thanks to the hint and the logs, I was soon able to make a find. No muggles around, so I quickly signed and returned, and headed back to pick up middle child. Thanks for the cache, suehut.

Christmas Eve Eve, and we were in Geelong battling the madding crowds.

Neither of us makes a big deal about Christmas, with the exception of our Granddaughter.

With this in mind, Mr Dromaniax's daughter, who works at a childcare centre, asked if he would be willing to be Santa for the Happy Feet kids.

So the jolly red suit was donned along with the delightfully prickly fake beard and wig. Someone needs to come up with an Aussie Santa suit, maybe red boardshorts and a red rashie, with a red SLSC cap. That would have been far more comfortable.

Mr Dromaniax had a ball (even though he sweated a heap), and most of the older kids had fun. (side note; why do people subject toddlers and babies to Santa?)

Once the Santa session had finished, Mr Dromaniax went and hid a cache and found one.

This cache was found nice and quickly and in pretty good condition.

Thank you, suehut for this Traditional cache.

#15136. Travelling with Robmc and howjen567 towards Geelong and beyond. With bicycles on board we stopped for this small series of caches, not realising a few were disabled, and one was actually archived. Glad there weren't any more along here as it was 38 degrees when we returned to the car just after 11.00am.

The fellows rode straight to this one but I had stopped at #6 as I had that one on my GPSr. Names added and we continued on to #8 which we found and added a new log sheet to. However, we now see that it was archived some time ago. Oh well.

Thanks suehut

28-Dec-18
Loaded up the Deadly Treadlies for a trip to Geelong. Travelled on this hot day with BettyBoo3747 and Howjen567 to see what we could find.

Again missing a disabled cache we rode past #6 to this one.
A quick find, and off to #8. (we replaced the log, but now see it has been locked!)
Thanks, Robmc.
