At school Maths and Chemistry weren't exactly my favourite subjects but I've been fiddling with this puzzle for quite a while now.
Never sure if I was on the right track or not i sought guidance from a previous finder and a Chemistry teacher!
I turns out I was a lot closer than I expected with just D and G needing a tweak.
I finally understood where I'd gone wrong and was really pleased to get some coords that matched those of my mentor, with Evince not working he confirmed that I should get out to GZ and start searching.
Today I took a short walk through a nice area and arrived an area that matched the T rating. I spent about 15 minutes searching around and then contacted the last finder.
He told me a very specific area where he had hidden the cache but I found nothing there. After another long search in nearby places I left empty handed.
I'll keep an eye on this but I think it needs a check please.

This was a difficult puzzle to solve. I know a little about chemistry, but some of the information given seemed ambiguous. So with a bit of knowledge and a bit of help, I finally had the puzzle solved.
So I headed off to find it the cache, having had this on my 'to do' list for a while. Parked the car at a nearby access point and then it was just a short walk along the bush track towards gz. Once there the gps was pointing in an unlikely spot, so I started my search nearby. But I came up empty handed. Then I swapped to a different location and went to a spot where I had initially discounted. But still I couldn't locate the cache. Some passing muggles must have wondered what I was doing.
I was starting to think that the cache was missing when, looking from a different angle, I spotted it. Are you serious - how am I supposed to reach that? I'm not sure if this was replaced correctly by the previous finder, because it was in a very dangerous position and almost impossible to reach. I was only able to get it using a tool. But somehow I did manage to get it and opened it up to sign the log. There was no way I would be able to return it where I found it, so I placed it just beside and in a more accessible position (I actually think this is where the original cache location was, given the ratings). So all good for the next finder. TFTC

Having had a solve for this one and being in the area we headed over. The location was soon guessed along with where. We did as the hint said once in the right spot and made the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
After finding Quarry Reserve, I spontaneously decided to look for this one. More than a year ago, I found the correct coordinates but was unable to find the geocache. The hint wasn't quite as helpful, but being the daring person I am I searched where I believe the cache to be. After some poking around, I understood the hint. But I never would've guessed. For future finders, you have to look "up and down" if you know what I mean.
Thanks for the awesome geocache. Love these sort of puzzles as I am a chemist enthusiast.

Let's make Oatley and surrounding areas a little bit saver by getting rid of some unfound caches!
That chemical one was a nasty one, the rest was easy compared with that one. Once I realized which side of the river I needed to be it was a quick grab. The advantage of being a tall dutchman
TFTC! FP.

Preparing for next weekend. I have no idea what the purpose of the "sum of co-efficient" is or what to use it for in real life, but I managed to get the right coordinates with it.
Chaos? Shuffle? For sure! Have been working on this with my mates on and off for a few months. Dug out my old high school chemistry and physics notes to work on some of the formulas. Was sure I could solve the Maths problems, but that all depended on my ABCs.
So with some advice from a few fellow finders and the CO, we eventually came up with the correct digits and headed to the cache with geobuddies SMS and PDU. As it had been raining heavily all week, we shuffled carefully and soon we spied the cache in it's hiding place. Reminds me of one of my own cache hides! Luckily I brought my taller mates so we could all have CIH.
A good mental and physical challenge. A very nice walk/shuffle to and from GZ in a pleasant parkland and another puzzle in this region solved and found. TFTC. #704.

**Been working on this one for a while now, 2 or 3mths. Brewmaker contacted me, we agreed on the coords, even if it is too close to a Traditional!!!!!! Headed out today and loved the little hide.**

Joined up with Brewmaker and Seemyshell and with all committed to parts of the puzzle went off in search for GZ. After a bit of a search with us all having slightly different coords on various GPSs we came across the cleverly hidden cache.
Thanks Sykamore for the puzzle and cache.

Well that was chaotic - and a bit of a stretch too. Mentally and physically. I found the chemistry the hardest, balancing those equations took me back to time and place so remote I am not quite sure if I had ever been there.
After reading a few logs I figured out the best way to approach the cache, and yes according to the hint you wouldn't want to be any shorter than me, i.e. 1.8m
Thanks for a good challenge.

With Mr H having solved this one during his convalescence, we were finally able to search this one out. Between his broken arm and my injured ankle, we made a sorry pair as we got to GZ and considered the possibilities. As the somewhat more agile of the pair at present I was elected to make the retrieval which was done in a somewhat less than elegant manner. The container was quickly located, slowly retrieved and eventually replaced.

This is one of many, many, many puzzle caches that have been worked out over the last week since taking a nasty fall last weekend whilst caching outside of Canberra. No need to go into detail but I've got 2 weeks off work and have been housebound until today with not much else to do save solving puzzles!
A team effort today with Delloro who is currently more able than me (we take it in turns!) to retrieve the cache. TFTC Sykamore!
Cheers,

29/08/15. 4:40 PM. Cache #2903. Streak day #433.
2nd of 3 today.
After finding "Stuck Between a Rock and a Hard Place", Team Canary and I continued along the path to this one. I'd had a look at the puzzle before, but needed lots of help.
Today, TC helped me even further by stopping at a convenient location and inventing a dance that shall henceforth be known as the "Chaos Shuffle". This got me thinking of a few possibilities, but when I checked out the hint, I was even more sure of where I needed to go.
So off I headed to an area of trickier terrain, and within a minute I spotted the cache. I looked around for a suitable tool, which I used to aid in retrieval - woohoo, cache in hand. A quick sign the log and replace, and then I was back on track following TC to "Is That a Troll I can Hear?". I'd already found that one in July, so once I caught up to him I referred him to the coordinates I'd provided in my log. After that one, we parted company and I headed up to Woolloomooloo for the meet & greet event at Harry's Cafe de Wheels. TFTC.

I'm so glad chemistry and maths are my favourite subjects. It took me some time but eventually evince coordinate confirmation gave me the thumbs up. Made my way to GZ and there was a soccer game on, but they weren't too much of a problem. I looked around the GZ and even climbed under the brige. To no avail I couldn't find the cache. Maybe next time.
We were on a caching expedition with Canary today. He had already worked out this puzzle and wanted to grab it, so we accompanied him down the track. A section of the track was closed off, but that was just the way we came. I figured there are at least two other directions to approach the cache without having to be naughty like us, and skip past the barricades.
Canary and I looked at the hint and terrain rating when we got there and figured we knew where to look. After an aborted attempt by Canary to come from the wrong side (thankfully aborted, as he might have hurt himself, we later saw) we made an easy find of the cache. Thanks

Today I found a cache in a fun location after a puzzle. Normally I would give this a favourite point. But, the lack of help from the owner with a confusingly worded description and a checker that said I was wrong, even though I must have been right were annoying. Thanks to the previous fonder for confirming my calculations.

#3079- A mystery cache, thankfully due to the calculations involved, completed prior by Team Canary. At the moment my Maths is just surviving HSC General with my son, so I was glad not to have to worry about this part. This is a pretty little urban oasis that I had not been expecting. Part of the track had a closed sign, but in fairness, it was not completely across the track, so we wandered along to GZ. The boys did the honours of heading down and the cache was quickly found. Thanks
Thanks for the Evince update. A response to email three weeks ago would have been nice.

Loved the bushwalk along this hidden track. Joint FTF with my Geodad EverestHigh
I worked through the Chaos, found some entropy at work, Shuffled the numbers, got a GZ but Evince said no! I took a leap of faith and went anyway, With fresh perspective I reached out, got CIH, SL. TB out, TB & Geocoin in.
Cache will be online shortly
