Third find of 6 micro caches this afternoon.
Bowls was just winding up so in between exits of the members I wandered over to make an immediate find as per the helpful hint.
Cheers

Up this way again to drop off a mate to pick up his Motor-Home from Low Head.
With that done i was free to grab Caches (Mainly targeting Old Caches and those with high FP's) between here and Launceston where i "had" planned to stay tonight but the place is near on booked out so in hindsight, i found as many as i could then made a dash for home in HBA, later in the afternoon.
After visiting a fish and chip shop in the main street i drove to this one, parked the GeoMobile almost right on GZ and made the find in a relatively quick time as in my mind i had an inkling of what the container was and where it may be, this served me well in making the find swift
Sat back in the GeoMobile and munched on Potato Cakes, washed down with a DARE, Double-Espresso Iced Coffee [:x] [^] whilst SL at 11:47 on Tuesday 21 March 2023.
No Bowls today meant for a peaceful search and re-hide.
The cache and log within are in A1 condition.

After a dnf down the road glad to find this one. Not that easy. Thanks for the fun
YAY - found Grumbli Goes To Bowls today. 9th of our Great Tassie 2023 Caching Adventure. Quite a sneaky little hide. TFHC
PS - needs a new log. We squeezed our initials into a space already taken by another cacher

Day 2 of our Tasmanian Odyssey… The plan is to attend Grumbligrot’s Celebration Event in Georgetown and target some oldies before and after… that and anything else that grabs my attention or I happen to step over, in the area…
One last cache before the event… and I’m driving right past… sort of….
A quick find despite the foliage… tftc…

We were visiting George Town today to see the car show. After seeing that and having a bit of lunch we went off in search of caches to finish our day.
This one took a bit of searching before we finally spied it. I dare say the more the vine grows here the harder it could get.

On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.
Today its St Helens to Bridport via Gldstone and South Mount Cameron. Once again we followed some of the interesting geocaches like the Earthcaches and Virtuals to fulfil our day and give us interesting places to visit. The Lil Blue Lake was certainly a surprise for us as we were not expecting such intense colour. We made a dash into George Town as we decided we wanted Chinese for dinner and there was none open in Bridport. A couple finds in the area before making our way back to Bridport for some RnR.
Thanks for placing and mainting this awesome Geocache Grumbligrot

Tricky one because the obvious hiding spot is repeated many times over. It was only through trial and error ... TFTC
Heading back out of town after doing a number in the area the rating on this one caught our eye so over we went. A lot of searching and finding the little sucker was found. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
When I realised what I was looking for, I realised how I should be looking for it and soon had the little green micro in hand, logged and placed back. TFTC.
On our tour around Tassie we made here a quick stop.
After a while looking we can find the cache. Here it was hard to find.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

D3? Pretty easy find today even with the bowls going on
Today I made a late decision that I would head to g-town to collect some caches, a bit of a hit and miss here, I found some harder D/T combos but the easier ones seemed to be not there.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Thank you for the cache. Maggie the great GeoWestie caching with Carer. thanks V
With Maggie2. Lovely to have met CO and 2IC. TFTC. Found on our TASMANIA ALL OVER journey. Join us on Facebook page of that name.
Our second visit and success. Log is full so definitely could do with a replacement. We managed to squeeze our initials on though (cnc2) TFTC
Out and about with Lil Rafa to get caches for the Hidden Creatures series, all the way to Low Head, we found, signed and replaced the cache, completing the find. TFTC TNLN log dry, cool nights but nice days. tricky little cache got there in the end!
Thanks for the cache Grumbligrot. Visiting the George Town / Low Head area with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP for a couple of days. We visited late in the day as the sun was about to set, so no muggles around. This was a very clever little hide. Cheers.
No muggles near GZ which was just as well as the search took a few minutes. Not sure we expected such a small well hidden container. TFTC
Here I was on a Sunday arvo,
perfect sunny weather,
and not a soul to be seen around the bowling club ?? [:o]
Maybe there is an away game today ??
So finding the cache was an easy affair,
as I had time to search for the tricky hide,
without ending up in a long and boring conversation,
with a passing bowler on a gopher

We didn't see Grumbli or anyone else at the bowls today. In fact there was not a soul around. Accurate co-ordinates and a tactile approach soon had the cache in hand. Thanks Grumbligrot for another cool cache in this region.
This was a tricky one! We got caught out by someone that was in the know hehe! Found and logged! TFTC!!
Find #211
Find #211
We thought something looked like it may be missing but we are probably way off the mark and just suffering from the dreaded cache blindness. Thanks Grumbligrot.
Hurrah! After many attempts we finally got this one. Geodaughter spotted it with some keen eyes for her first find. Thanks for the cache Grumbligrot.
Found with taurus1955. Yes, it was just as the hint said. Early in the morning , but a bowler or two around. TFTC
What an excellent place for a smilie - Found while travelling around Tasmania with misschief18 - lucky to add another smilie to our collection

Tftc. Did some sneaky night caching. Had to pretend to be looking for directions whilst the muggle neighbours drove away. Thanks for the hint - could have been there a lot longer without it!
What a neat, tidy looking establishment. Have never played lawn bowls as we have heard that more people die playing bowls than any other sport!!!!
This one was found by Mrs Beetle where Mr Beetle feared to go!!! [Cobwebs]
Thanks.

Thanks.
Bliss for bowlers - not one but two bowls clubs to check out courtesy of Grumbli. This one is definitely more upmarket & puts our local club to shame. Quick find but that was probably just a fluke. From memory I think we took the last spot on the logsheet.
Today we travelled to George Town to attend the leap day event arriving at 12.00 noon to allow us to find caches published since our last visit. We had 27 on our list including the event. We managed to find them all and enjoyed the variety of hides and our tour of George Town. Mrs "T: came up with the goods, a matter of elimination.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Hubby came up with the goods. After a lengthy search he pulled out one of our trusty tools and he soon had it signed and put back. No bowler Muggles today, TFTC This is a lovely area and we're enjoying our second day's caching here. The weather is perfect. Also looking forward to the event on Monday evening to meet and thank all the Tassie CO's who have added so much fun to our touring here.
We've now only got four weeks left of our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here!

A new day. A little bit of a search but on the right track just had to find it.

We've only tried bowls once and enjoyed it except when we had the weight on the wrong side. They were closed when we arrived today so all was quiet. I thought I had my hand on a nano but it turns out all I had managed to do was grab and squash a snail. The egg grabbed the real thing while I cleaned myself up. OK dinner time now (no not snails). TFTC
TFTC hope the guy who was mowing the lawn didn't think I was watching him though the bushes. Hint helped me find this one.
Have searched for this in the past and left frustrated and defeated. A return visit and with the aid of the hint managed to find this tiny well hidden cache.. Nice work.. thanks..!!
Tricky little thing this was, people arriving for a birthday party inside kept things interesting. TFTC
After a couple of DNF's I threw the white flag up and got some help from the CO. With an extra hint I was able to overcome my cache blindness and found this sneaky well hidden micro and finally tick off the list.
TFTC and the extra hints.
Cheers

It does pay to read the hint when one is offered. When we finally did we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!
Found 7th sept. Only just logged now as a premium member. Thanks grumbli, was a sneaky hiding spot.
Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
Headed out on a glorious day to visit Bell Bay and George Town.
The morning was indeed glorious but after lunch it was a bit windy but still sunny.
We managed to find your cache today.

TFTC found on our third attempt after a DNF and a muggle in the area second time around. Not sure why we did not find it first time

Found on a windy and rainny day with jusafan1107 on a caching raid to Georgetown. T.F.T.C. had a chat to the grounds men about the weather before we found it. it stopped raining just long enough not to get wet.
What to do on a windy and rainy winter's day? Go geocaching of course. Found on a East Tamer raid with Choppersrule. Took some finding today. TFTC
We were in the area today doing caches that have been published since our last visit. No muggles today. Cache located quickly. TFTC.
Ewe found it 15 07 2015 took several attempts before I finally located it, congratulations grumbligrot on an excellent hide.
Great hint that was spot on. Found quickly with geo grandson . The nearby bowlers had no idea what we were up to.TFTC
On our way to Australia Hill (near Goulds Country) for a spot of GCA caching, we called into Georgetown to look for this recently published cache. Despite being early Sunday morning, there was one car and one person at the club. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Grumbligrot.
Email comes through with a newly published cache. 300 meters from my house. So off to claim FTF with katiemac88 and lizziejj. Tftc
FTF with LizzieJj and SScharlie!
Out for a walk with the geokiddies and randomly checked my emails and HELLLOOOOO a new cache was published 300m away!! TFTC
