Couldn’t find this one, although I ‘reeled in’ what I thought was IT. However there was no cache. Might need to be checked by creator or maybe I was just totally in the wrong spot
Found it at dusk with the geokids, not a soul about and a beautiful evening. Cache is in excellent condition. Thanks so much for the creative and fun hide, well worth a favourite point from us
Had a look but felt funny going near ppls boats so didn't wanna try to hard to find it
An awesome unique one of a kind cache, happy to have a walk after a hard run to find this one with my beautiful baby girl.
Log in perfect condition and cache is good.
Thank you for the hide

Today is our first day caching since the Covid-19 restrictions came into place. We’re on a road trip to Bairnsdale to catch up with family, and decided that grabbing a few caches on the way was definitely a must do. A freezing morning, with the temp not yet in double figures despite it being 11:00am.
We went too sure if we would be able to find this one-not logged for 18 months and a D3 to make it more challenging. However a spot on clue, really good coords and a keen caching eye made it a straightforward find in the end. The main problem was Mrs SKI got her hands quite dirty and ended up washing them in the VERY cold water near the jetty. Lucky we had some wet wipes back in the car to get ride of the stagnant water smell.
A great hide that has stood the test of time in a suitably robust container.
TFTC A fav from us

Found with Let Them Eat Cache. Came down to GZ this morning only to find a muggle in his car watching everything, plus a river cruise & walkers. Hard to hunt when there is so much activity. Came back this afternoon with geowifey & I was able to Reel it In! Thanks for the enjoyable hide.
CRE (Cache Retrieval Expert, my geohubby) hunted (or fished) this one down fairly quickly on our second attempt. A fairly suspicious muggle was in his car watching on our first attempt this morning, so we returned at the end of the day to make the find. A different one for us, thoroughly deserving of a FP. Thanks Charlie The Ant for the hide.

Thought I'd better grab this one today, to put the smiley in here. I couldn't believe how quick I found it, amazing.
Thanks Scrappy_1 for this placement.
Love the container.

After much searching I was about to give up. Ian took another look and luckily for arse started reeling in the prize. Thanks for the fun
Found this one. Great idea. Will need some maintenance though. Have sent you a message. Thanks for the hide!
I visited this cache today and found everything in place and where it was supposed to be. So for those previous DNF"s you need to look harder. I will increase the difficulty level.
Nothing we could find to reel in today..... well nothing that had a cache on the end of it..... a bit of rubbish some reeds and that was about it

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
There were lots of opportunities to reel something in, but each one resulted in nothing.
Thanks for the hunt anyway Scrappy_1.

Found it after waiting for a couple of Muggles to move out of the way. Thought it was gone at first but all good, log nice and dry. TFTC

Have the main part to replace this just need to get the last of it together. Thanks for your patience
Looks like this one has gone down the river. Sorry for the inconvienience folks!
Found a stump close to the jetty and something tied to it, but nothing attached to the other end.
Out on a caching adventure with NoonaB and an adventure this one certainly was.
The gps insisted we drive over a closed bridge (can't really blame the gps for that) so we found the other way around, which was a pleasant drive and quickly found ourselves close to GZ. There were some muggles in the area so we waited patiently and soaked up the sun whilst reading through some previous logs.
When we had the opportunity to get closer we tried what we thought was the obvious place, and whilst NoonaB was laying on the jetty getting close with the water I spotted something.. And reeled it in a really great idea for this hide, but sadly wet is an understatement.
A brief chat with a friendly boat muggle was great whilst we decided it was time to break out the cache maintanence kits. We added a blue bison tube to the cache and hopefully that will hold up for a while. It would be great if the cache owner checks in on this one to make sure. Thanks for the hide, it was a really great hide and a lot of fun. Thanks

Found on a caching morning with Bigrobv. We were hoping to be able to clear the last DNF and luckily we did! We parked in the wrong place initially, the map directing us over a bridge that was closed. We reassessed and drove around the other side via a substantial detour and parked close to GZ. We walked over and found some muggles conversing close to where we wanted to search. We read the cache description while waiting and confirmed the search location and in the meantime the muggles moved on. I went out on the jetty to search but no luck with the obvious position. I turned around and Bigrobv was "reeling" something in! We had the cache but wet was an understatement!! The log was unsignable and it was pointless putting another piece of paper in. While we were deciding how best to tackle this we had a friendly muggle from the close by boat enquire about what we were doing so we explained briefly. Lucky both Bigrobv and I have cache maintenance kits and we were able to put a blue Bison container inside the existing cache with a new log which will hopefully hold up to the water a bit better. We left the last log inside the container in the event the CO wants to keep it. Thanks for a very interesting find!
We think we found what could be the cache. But too many muggles on boats around to fully search!
After negotiating the detour because of bridge works, we found this fishing cache. The log is very soggy and impossible to sign. I have a photo as proof though if you want it
I couldn't work out how to cross the canal
The construction site has taken out the bridge !! [:o]

Love this cache. Didn't think I was going to be able to do it but I had my weet bix this morning. Tftc favorite point from me

~~UPDATE ~~
We have just about got this geocache up and running again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The timing of pulling it all together has been a little tricky with the birth of our son only very recently.
We hope to have this back up and running asap.

Back in Sale again this morning for more work and, despite the detour around an accident in Kilmany, I still made it to town early enough to squeeze in a cache before my first client. After the recent DNF I'd logged, I noticed several others had successfully found the cache so I returned determined. After capturing a photo of the pelican sleeping atop the light pole, I ventured down to where photo hints showed the cache to be as many others had said the coords are out. A quick look and I had figured out what I'd dismissed last time was actually the cache. The hardest part was getting the log out, but my name is now added so I can cross this one off the watch list. TFTC Charlie the Ant.
From reading the description, we thought we had an idea of what to look for. Had a hunt around at GZ without success. Widened the search area and Mrs SG came up with the goods. TFTC
Very good hiding spot. Location is off a bit.
MRS walked straight over location on her look, swapped over and I found it within a few mins. Log was hard to extract. Not many swapables so just left one and didn't take any. TFTC

A very clever cache indeed! Hubby missed this one first time around so we came back this morning for another go. It was the hint that helped. TFTC and a fav point given
I was pretty sure of what to look for and found something that looked very likely but it ended in a dead end. Literally. Thanks anyway Charlie The Ant. I'll come back once it's been found again so I can be sure it's there.
After having lunch directly across the canal I decided we should knock off a cache .. and this was the closest.
After a bit of searching up and down the canal (J wanted to go onto the boats to "search" .. no mate, I don't think we would be expected to go on a boat) ....
We eventually found it. With AN&J. .
I couldn't get the log book out without hurting it so I'll return to write in the log book on a later date.
tyvm for the cache .. a fav point for sure!!!

Found this one in the middle of the night while visiting sale. Thanks for the hide, one of the most clever ones we have found so far.
+4 difficulty when trying to find at night. Thanks for the hide! Was the funniest one so far
Clever little hide. Gps had us a little ways off but with help from a local fisherman we soon had the cache in hand and were impressed by the creativity of this hide. Well done and thanks mr fisherman!
Found by GeoDad. Geomum found ground zero and then dismissed what she saw. Pays to take a second look. Thanks. Silkyie
