Clever hide, I was thinking something very different as we approached the site, but then another inspiration led me to it straight away.
There is a flowering plum tree nearby, and given there is a bee keeper over the road and a heap of active hives quite close, it is surprising there was not a bee on it.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

Cache 1058 Day 3 of my “hidden dates” cache holiday search around Dunedin. Today I’m exploring by myself taking my time heading up towards sea cliff to knock quite a few off the list on the way as well as grabbing some extras. Frosty start to the morning again but that still won’t deter my hunt for the Plastic. Stunning view right here on the corner had to stop for a minute and take it in, cache was truely a park and grab in excellent condition T4TC
In dunnas for a while caching up with KJR..
"Ticking along tuesday" another day doing some solo caching while k has to work...
No parking today...walked down from the top road..nice quick find with somewhere handy to sit down and sign the log..tftc

Looked in the obvious location which is sometimes very helpful when using my phones GPS.
A start to another glorious day as Mrs Moon was getting put to bed. Whoever said it was going to be a foggy day has their blinkers on as sun strike was the only thing to avoid picking up this cache. The only driest cache in Glenmore had a clean RITR booklet to sign. Without a baggy the hide is dry enough not needing any maintenance today. Signed log and returned to hide. Throw your GPSr away, it's over there in the Skindo hide. Ticked another dwindling hidden date dot off my Jasmer grid not attainable in Southland. Have the other fav courtesy of my luvly sponsor for showing me your neighbourhood. *RTP 325pt* TFTC
Nice and easy tftc.
Cache in good nick, would recommend as a night cache as no muggles about

Worked out the clue and the cache in hand right under the noses of the unsuspecting locals. Love it when they totally ignore you. Cache is all good. TFTC
Out on a walk this morning. Just up from GZ, was a muggle loading his Ute. I managed to retrieve the cache, sign the log and return it in between his trips from his shed to his Ute! Took a photo of the view to seem less conspicuous.

This cache was fifth on my list for today but I ended up here first after having to make quite a large detour from further down the valley. Nice quick find. I was surprised to see the tree with quite a bit of blossom on it - the seasons and weather are all changing a lot. TFTC # 13,920
Had a couple of laughs trying to spot this one .
Out for a couple of quick caches tonight while staying with NZ Bozzy
Lovely evening for a quick walk . Didn’t know this road was here

It was starting to rain with a little more conviction so weren't sure it was going to be a smiley face here, stepped back and the title made sense and straight onto the find. Signed with our initials. TFTC #202
#6038. I had a workshop in Dunedin on Thursday and Friday. Decided to take the opportunity to stay on for the weekend and do some geocaching in the southern city. Rented a car and today I did a few caches up around Flagstaff. Afterwards I headed into suburbia to grab a few more before sunset. Parked nearby and wandered back to the GZ. I did wonder if the cache might be hidden in this type of place from the title. And yes it was. Nice quick find. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks Sparesockclub for hiding it here.
Great view - I pretended i was photographing it as I waited for a car to finally leave the area. Tftc!
A great afternoon caching in the Dunedin area, about 32 caches for the day a few good up and down walks and a bit of bush bashing and a lot of fun had. Many Thanks Bitsprayer.
I wondered about the name when I saw the road markings but all made sense as I signed the log under the supervision of the inquisitive hens.
Thanks

Lots of people around had to come back a second time. Nice spot, mist on the hills dew on the grass and the sun breaking through the clouds. Makes me miss the old town.
A wee detour here on our way to Sullivans Dam via Leith Valley. Drove past and spotted where it would be straight away so parked round the corner and then made our way back. Nice quick find. TFTC
An evening excursion to celebrate the 1`7th anniversary of the removal of selective availability, and a surprisingly warm night. We parallel parked, not on the yellow broken lines either I may add, and had not trouble finding the hide by torchlight. But Mr D pointed out a problem - a local canine had left proof of having angle parked its bottom. Took a careful angle of approach to retrieve and replace the cache, you can be sure of that! Mmm, these double containers really are quite nifty, even if they are a P&G... and there's a pencil thoughtfully included. Thanks spare sock club - we must get around to doing more of yours.
I started here with my children today but didn't find it initially. After finding a few other local ones we had more of an idea of what we were looking for and found it.
Had intended to go further afield, but weather was too cold to start with, so decided to do some bike-and-grabs instead when the weather warmed up.
This was first on the list. Checked at the intersection, looked at the hill and decided to walk it. Two muggles determining the fate of the world at the bottom of the street, but they soon went their separate ways, giving me time to do the necessary. Slogged back up the hill in the increasing warmth, somewhat regretting my earlier decision.

Fake geocacher log deleted, moffitt5938, log not signed and cacher cannot be contacted, no valid email address.
After spending most of the day at the Otago peninsula it was time for another Geocaching binge. Two stayed at the camp site while I dropped my eldest off at the start of a mountain bike track. Thanks for the hide.
As I was signing the logbook I noticed a pair of beady wee eyes staring at me from across the road behind a bush. There was a shuffle and . . . CLUCK! Oh it's just a chicken. Cool . . . I think I will keep on signing this thing. Thanks
Went on a big adventure with Wafflekitties and geo pups, had a blast thanks for the memories! TFTC.
Found while on a winter holiday with LCBuilder and our two geodogs. We spent 3 weeks travelling down the east coast and then up the west coast, setting our tent up at a different campsite each night. We didn't have any real plan, just went where the caches took us we saw a lot of awesome sights and will definitely have to come back one day as 3 weeks isn't really that long! TFTC!
A quick park and grab on a very wet day for Sirbennis and I. I like it when thay are quick and easy. TFTC
Enjoying holidaying in the area with tmann421 and another good day of weather today.
A nice quick find for us here. TFTC

This took me a lot longer than it should have actually. I did find it in the end, but was there really supposed to be a [live] slug on the underside of it? Ickk.. !!
Greetings from Czech republic, I found this cache when walking to Pineapple track. Thanks
We almost went right past this one. We walked down the hill and made a very quick find. Tftc.
We came by during the day and the neighbour was in his garden, so came back at night & found under the cover of darkness. TFTC.
Back home after long drive yesterday. Nice to see the hens they came to investigate
A nice evening for a few caches. Kia ora for the cache. Found with Spydude13 and Lollipopcat.
The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
We decided to try and get a few around Dunedin head north up the Leith and Waitati valleys and back into town over Mt Cargill. We stopped in Waitati for a great lunch. The weather played nicely too. We stuck around town to grab the ones in town before it got too busy. Quick find as the neighbour came by and asked us if we were looking for the cache. He has been looking for it on and off for over a year. He was amazed we found it and we showed him the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Took a wee detour from heading up the vally to find some in the hillier parts. Put hands directly on the cache, then a neighbour came and had a chat. He'd looked for ages, even pruning a few of the bushes to try find the cache. Thanks for th cache.
Canterbury show weekend and time for our annual road trip to some place with plenty of boxes to find. One player short this year as PurdiePurdie got a better offer over the Tasman, (no not another MEGA).
TheWanglers, Team Gaters and I took off at 4:45am for Dunedin for a weekend of fun frivolity and finds. The plan was to get as many as we could, while still having a good old time, which we managed in abundance. Logs were generally signed kaTT, which actually should read ka pai, but I can not seem to get pi as a symbol.
A great time was had by all.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

Show weekend and a Road Trip to Dunedin with 'The Boys'....Karma Reprint & TheWanglers. Initially came up with the acronym KiTT but on seeing the TT looked like a Pi symbol we quickly changed to Ka(Pi) (ie. Kapai)....and a fantastic weekend it was. 3 days, 1100km, a heap of caches and great fun.
Angled parked and KR made the quick find and sign. Neighbour came over for a chat...he'd been looking for the cache for over a year without luck. Me thinks he wasn't using a gps...just trying to find what everyone else was looking for! He knew about geocaching so had obviously spoken to others over the year(s)..... We showed him the cache and he was well impressed (he's the house a bit uphill; owns the empty paddock beside the cache. He jokingly said he'd chopped down the tree near GZ in his quest to find the cache! ha ha ha)....onwards.

A nice quick find after wandering around the local candle but having too many muggles around for a decent search.
