Found the cache but no emu. I remember always seeing one here but probably haven’t seen one since 2009.
Went out today in the unseasonably cold weather seeking east terrain caches as the stitches in my foot settle. TFTC

It was a bit cold for the rest of the family to head out this afternoon, so Samuel and I headed out with a handful of caches planned, 'we'll turn around when we run out of light' as we went....
Last one for the day as the car headlights came on.... Unfortunately the log is sodden, and not signable. TFTC

After running out of caches to do on our list, we headed down the mountain to this one and nabbed a few others in the area, nice spot in the freezing cold!

I was heading out west with some of the boys from my family for a caching weekend. We were supposed to have gone to find some of the Ying Yang series of puzzle caches that we had solved. Unfortunately, the recent rains meant that some bridges and roads were flooded and preventing access. Heading west was Plan B.
Smurfyguy eventually found the cache. Log was signed and cache replaced. Cheers.

Last one of the day. I was getting a little tired by now and we still had a little to go before our accomodation.

On our way back home and stopped off to find a few more traditional caches. Parked nearby and walked over to GZ to make a quick find. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing it as found. The container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Macca88.

Day 3. No.16 for the day on our Geo Adventure Tour of the Blue Mountains. Found with Geo Companion, Mystic Seer. Very clever hide, well done to the CO. With the Log signed, the cache was replaced as found ready for the next Geo Adventurers.
Thanks Macca88 for bringing us to this location. Cheers.

Found with Chippyddd on Day 3 mission - Blue Mountains NSW caches. Lots of rain today. Hint is very useful for a sneaky hide. Good hide. No room for SWAPS or drops. Both cache and logbook are dry. SL TFTC TFTH. Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher. Thanks and cache on.
An early start this morning to drive to Bathurst for Christmas provided an opportunity to grab this cache along the way. TFTC

What a fantastically constructed cache. Love the effort put into this hide. Thanks so much. What a lovely road to travel also.
We camped at the Wallace Lakes rest area with the caravan, found a spot where we would not get bogged in with the copious rain we had experienced. This morning dawned foggy but with signs the sun would make an appearance. We started early and loved the scenery as we travelled the area. Nice cache and hide. Thanks to Macca88 for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Fav point alloc.
TFTC Great location! And two amazing emus! Out with jkcourtz for the day having great adventures!
Found cache replaced log with new one- cache doesn’t have a lid! Needs maintenance!

I'm logging a "found it" for this one based on the descriptions in previous logs. I believe I found the cache (a plastic tube, that does not have a lid, imbedded in a timber block) and with no log. If CO thinks I have missed the mark I am happy to be corrected.
Last time we tried for this one, the guy across the road was mowing his verge, so we did not even attempt it. Today, place looks empty now and no emu in sight, but easy find. Container has no lid now.
A quick stop during my caching in the Blue Mountains! I really like the whole area here a bit further away from the busy Katoomba. Had some really asome views today and been to a lot of locations I had not been before!

Found after a search, gz appeared on the wrong side of the road for us but a bit of deduction and we had CIH. Container is missing it's lid and the log is mush so we were unable to sign and unable to replace (sorry). Beautiful area, no emus today unfortunately. TFTC!
Found it quickly but the lid is missing and the log wasn't able to be removed from the container.
Nicely done but could do with some maintenance.

Fitzy_1965 and I headed out for another day of caching in the Oberon-Lithgow area. Decided to pick up some out of the way caches and to fill in some gaps.
Cool find but log is in desperate need of replacement.

- 14281. Found during a great days caching around the Oberon-Lithgow region today with minniek.
Fantastic winter's day out caching through the Oberon-Lithgow area today. This was the next find of the day. We were starting to run out of time so we targeted some of the neat sounding caches on the road home. Quick find at this one with no emu to distract. Signed the log which is rather wet, returned the cache, and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Macca88 !!

I pulle over to check my messages, then discovered this cache was only 5m away! Having just had a DNF on the one a little north of here, it was pleasing to pull up, jump out, spot the camo and have CIH in seconds. Getting the lid open was the toughest part, followed by trying to write on the damp log. Managed in the end, then replaced the neat camo and headed back to Sydney. TFTC, but it does need a new log sheet.
Two beautiful emus came to help us locate this cache. An easy find with great neighbours.
The log was very moist and falling to pieces in my hand. I had another one in my wallet, so it has been replaced. TFTC.
Looking for caches is hard in the rain. Did find an emu feather and a fork though
Very good one, was about to give up and one last check revealed the cache
We decided to go out looking for a few caches in the afternoon with Troopy1. This one was a bit hard to reach as the camo was at arms length in the paddock. We managed to retrieve it before the curious emu came to see what was going on. After signing the log it was replaced nearer to where the hint indicated it should be. TFTC.
Clever camo as we were expecting a different type of post . Cache and log in good shape. Found with clm2760. Tftc

A quick find & we'll give this a favourite point as the curious emu's gave us a great deal of entertainment! TFTC Macca88!

Found this cache just before midnight after a 16 hour long caching day. I was very glad it was an easy find, and too dark for the emu to harass me.
This final find for the night brings todays find count up to 180 caches!
Thanks for the cache.

We are spending a week in the Lithgow area for the September School holidays, staying at the Lithgow Caravan Park. This was our 3rd find of the day, 32nd find of the holiday.
Parked the geomobile across the road from the cache and walked over to GZ. And yes the resident emu came over to say hello. Quickly spotted the cache and retrieved it without getting a peck from the friendly native. TFTC.
Note: The cache container lid is no longer attached to the container, so cachers need to take care not to drop it in the long grass when removing it.
