On a cosmic quest today to find some caches. Luckily all was quiet at the bus stop when I visited and the cache was a nice quick find, TFTC

**#21,315**Out of excusesWe dont need an excuses not to hide a cache but we need even less excuses to find a cache. This one just fell right in our path so, no excuses, we found it. TFTC

23-Mar-24
Thanks for replacing this. Always a thrill to sign a brand new log! Tftc

17-Mar-24
As this one has gone missing again, slight change to location. Hint updated accordingly, to make for an easy find

26-Feb-24
Muggled?

26-Feb-24
Before I started geocaching, I think I did see the geocache balanced on the window ledge. Someone may have taken it.

08-Jan-24
It remains a mystery until another day

16-Dec-23
Unfortunate.

04-Nov-23
Checked every inch of the bus stop but all we found was a clothes marker hidden where you could have expected a cache. I guess the bus stop is grateful for the sorting cleaning of cob webs but if the cache is really there, we will have to get back to it another day.

24-Aug-23
Finally got it! All good here. No idea how I missed it the first time. Picked up on a chilly night where my grip strength wasn't playing ball but got it in the end. Tftc!!

17-May-23
Just asked myself the question on arrival, where would I place the container? Fortunately a quick light-fingered sweep resulted in a find. No excuses needed. Thanks Infoferret for the placement.

09-Apr-23
Found it with difficulty. Not sure I found the right one, but I've signed a log and rehidden a camo container!

22-Jan-23
You may need a stick or glove.

12-Dec-22
Its such a nice day here in Wellington today (can't beat it) I decided to take a stroll around Ngaio and hunt out some caches.
This one I ALMOST gave up on, I returned my hunting eye to the area I originally felt around and it turns out I just had to feel a little deeper to get my hands on it.
TFTC

10-Oct-22
Nope!

25-Aug-22
Replaced with a black Bison Tube in the previous location.

20-Aug-22
Waited for ages for bus to take away muggle in bus stop. Then found out that there are no buses on this route today, due to Ngaio Gorge apparently being closed (even though there are cars going past). We told the muggle that the bus wouldn’t in fact be coming and he walked off in the rain, leaving us to search but no luck Smile

20-Aug-22
Not today. Hopefully not been muggled

04-Aug-22
Looked everywhere and no luck

03-Jul-22
There was no one around so and I had a pretty thorough search here, but with no luck. Suspect this one might have been muggled. KTG

03-Jul-22
Not sure what happened to our caching MOJO.... we were on a roll. And now we can't find this one. KTG and I searched every nook and cranny of the bus stop for about 15 minimum. Even climbing up to look in the drains. No luck though. Maybe it has been muggled. Thanks for placing. We will keep an eye on this one to make sure we turn it into a smile later on

18-Apr-22

17-Apr-22
A straightforward find on my way home. Thanks for placing the cache

19-Feb-22
For some reason I sometimes struggle with bus shelter geocaches. But not today! It was in the first place that I looked. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this geocache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC

07-Feb-22
Thanks!

21-Jan-22
It’s so nice to find Caches like these!

17-Jan-22
Yesterday I stopped here... and realised I'd dropped my prescription sunglasses somewhere along the lovely Trellisick bush track!!
If anyone spots my sunnys I'd love to have them back! Just tap on my name and send an email and I'll be so happy to hear from you!!
Reward of chocolates or a beverage!!

16-Jan-22
Maybe I'm getting better at these... sometimes I've been stumped by bus shelter caches!
After a lovely walk and even a swim in Trellisick Park we came here.

Nice and easy

02-Jan-22
A free caching half day for the Crystal half whilst the rest of the family stayed at home and played in the pool. Picked an area that had lots of caches we've not been to before. A nice easy one Smile Thanks for the cache and shade from the sun.

12-Dec-21
Another Sunday, another event to attend. This is one of the very real advantages of my new job, being able to regularly travel around a greater area of the lower north island Smile

I'm out with the Seagnoid again, and we are now out and about after the event to try to find some caches in this vicinity. This was effectively a quick park n grab. The cache is fine, as is the log which soon had my name on it before I put it back as found.

Thanks for setting this one up.

28-Nov-21
In Ngaio to collect a couple of desirable caches for my stats. Missions complete and heading down the hill back to base. Plenty of room here to stop and make a quick find.
I have to laugh that you struggled to make your first hide now that your hide count is 82 with this being my 11th Infoferret find.

30-Apr-21
Took a little while to find, but great hiding spot!!
Very camouflaged.

21-Mar-21
Took a little bit of searching to find. Bus shelters are a extra level of challenge i find but successful today, thanks to nobody at the bus stop. Your first cache Infoferret, gosh knows how many you have now. We are all happy you ran out of excuses Smile

27-Feb-21
Hmm. Not sure why I didn't find this when I first looked, several months ago, but I didn't, and so very surprised to make a quick find after the bus had passed by today. All good, tftc!

11-Feb-21
Sneaky geocache, a quick walk from my house so hit it one sunny evening

09-Jan-21
Out for a run down Ngaio Gorge, and I stopped by to pick up this cache. Thanks!

27-Sep-20
Unfortunately, no joy for me here today. Will watch and return.

06-Aug-20
Took a torch, but couldn't find. Maybe muggled?

02-Aug-20
Couldn't find anything here, almost lost my pen to the spiders, wont be doing that again

24-May-20
A replacement cache has been put in place.

26-Mar-20
Noticed this wasn't in it's usual spot a couple of days ago. However, I didn't have anything with me that would have acted as a replacement. Now that the Covid-19 Lockdown is in place, I will not be able to replace this cache until this is lifted.

Stay safe, everyone!

27-Nov-19
Never need an excuse to find them!

05-Nov-19
The bus slowed down to stop for me as I was filling out the log in the bus shelter, had to wave it on. Otherwise a quick park and grab. TFTC

22-Oct-19
Thanks for the find, cool hiding spot

19-Oct-19
No need to overthink this one. TFTC

08-Sep-19
A quick park and grab. TFTC

26-Aug-19
I've gone past this one a few times, but always had a good excuse not to stop. Wrong side of the road, people waiting at GZ, a bus approaching, not much parking. However, today I was on the wrong side of the road, but having spied a bus moving away from GZ, I turned around a bit further up the hill and found a park. Finally out of excuses, so swooped in for a quick find.
TFTC.

15-Aug-19
Thanks! I've been in this bus shelter many times, it was exciting to find there was something hidden in here

07-Jul-19
After locating a couple of other caches in the area this afternoon, we decided to stop for this one at the start of our drive home. Fortunately there was no-one around and I subsequently located it more quickly than I expected. #2542. TFTC.

22-Jun-19
Look up!

13-May-19
It’s always useful when you get to GZ and there’s parking and in this case no one stood around waiting! All signed and in good prefer. Thanks for a nice Park and grab.

31-Mar-19
Find # 3070. Completed an 11.2km, 3.5hr circumnavigation of Khandallah, Ngaio and Crofton Downs on foot to collect the last remaining traditional caches on my map. A very warm day with lots of stops for snacks & water, cats, birds and plants, and of course caches. Plenty of uphill - 436m - and max elevation 208m in Ngaio.
The shelter and the shade were very welcome, as was the bus that arrived just after to take away the muggles on the street. And the seat useful too to access the cache for short people like me. SL TFTC

08-Mar-19
Found whist heading into the canes game

16-Feb-19
Out for an evenng walk with my muggle friend... nice one - got to be grateful for a straightforward find in a shelter. T4td

Nice quick grab n go

22-Nov-18
Easy find before this evening event "Farewell and thanks for all the fish ('n'chips)". Thanks Infoferret for the cache.

04-Nov-18
Quick find on the way into the city. Picked early Sunday morning so small chance of a bus or passengers.

07-Oct-18
We are staying not far from here for the weekend. Stopped by here for a smiley. TFTC Infoferret. Cheers

22-Jul-18
This was one of the closest unfound caches near home so this was the day to find it A lot of traffic past here but didn't notice much interest from that quarter A quick whirl around the obvious spots and there it was TFTC

21-May-18
Finally found an excuse to pass by this way, and quickly grabbed this one. All safe and dry here. TFTC

16-Apr-18
#625. Nice easy park and grab on a rainy Wellington day. 5 more points for my PP. Tftc Infoferret.

02-Apr-18
Opened up my geocaching app whilst sitting at a friends house to discover this cache at the bottom of her driveway. Seeing as I parked my car there anyway, how could I not find it?!

Ethnz kindly offered to give me a ride back to base after the event and even made a stop for me to find a couple of caches.
Didn't even need to use the seat! Big Grin

I took my youngest son up to Wellington in the camper van. I dropped him off at his friend's house where he will stay. Meanwhile I get to geocache and be on standby.
After staying at Greytown and spending another day in the Wairarapa, it was time to head to The Hutt area.
Son number two got dropped off at the airport. Hubby got picked up.
I needed to get the Camper's clutch checked out at Miro Auto Repairs. Once we got the all clear it was time for a walk in the Hutt Valley and cache finding of course.
Next was a visit to the cable car, followed by dinner at a friend's home that was very close. I must say it was a pretty delicious meal and the company was outstanding.
The icing on the cake was the cache at the end.

Thanks. Infoferret for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 5452 for me.

09-Nov-17
Nice park and grab. TFTC

08-Nov-17
Staying with a friend nearby while I visit lovely Wellington. TFTC.

19-Aug-17
Decided to pop back, since the gorge is now open. Nice little find!

19-Aug-17
Great that the gorge is open again. Many years ago I used to live across the valley from here in a little cottage that had 13 zigs and zags down to the Kaiwharawhara stream. TFTC

16-Aug-17
The Ngaio Gorge has now been reopened, so the area is accessible again.

29-Jul-17
Went to go look for this one today. Unfortunately Ngaio gorge has been closed today due to a slip and this cache is just past the roadblock. Unwilling to explain to the road worker why I needed to pass the block I decided to give this one a miss. Will try again later.

29-Jul-17
Taking this one out of action until the road is open again... currently closed due to a landslip further down the hill.

24-May-17
A quick stop on my way home to "find" my cache for the day. I had already been here and located this one so it was a simple matter of signing the log.

There was no-one around so it took about 2 minutes to be on my way again!

The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.

Thank you

Cherrys Rule

13-May-17
Quick find by B after I missed it! TFTC Infoferret.

12-May-17
Streaking for 387 days… almost out of excuses! Cheers for my first (physical) Infoferret cache

17-Apr-17
Easter is over. It was way too not long enough. By the time I had two days soaked up in travel and one day with cache maintenance and one day holiday relaxing there wasn't much time left. Even now, I am have just been to see Taybee, but could only stay for 15 minutes - I have a ferry to catch. But there is enough time to spend a couple of minutes here.

I don't get it? You are out of excuses? "I don't want to" is a perfectly fine excuse, and it lasts for yonks!

12-Mar-17
It sounds like this cache was placed under duress ("here's your damn cache!") which makes for an amusing back story. I don't know why it took me several minutes to find it because it should have been the 2nd or 3rd place to look rather than the 10th. I was doing it at night so I didn't have to deal with traffic or muggle issues. TFTC!

I was wondering if the CO had been "pursuaded" to place any more caches and upon having a look there's one more but *seriously* out of the way. Perhaps that's so people will stop asking? Wink

Day # 11 in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ Big Grin.
Today was a very important day in my current life as a NZ-guest-cacher Red Face:
Main goals:
1) Visit NZ's oldest cache [^] and
2) Collect 7 Kiwi-cache-types in one day RazzRazz
Both missions could be successfully accomplished Big Grin. At the end of the busy day the daily record contained 23 finds of 7 distinct types and on top a wonderful [^] (unexpected) event Wink. This added even one more icon to the list of cache-variety for today CoolBig Grin - so cool! [^]

What a fantastic and comfortable place for a cute little box! Big Grin [^]
The finder is delighted with comfortable seating [:X] and all of the quietness needed for logging... Cool! Cool

Hey - Wellington area - you have cool caches and of course sympathetic cachers and owners [^] Big Grin!
A big thanks [:X] to all Owners involved [^] for hiding and maintaining Smile.
Cheers from Germany SmileSmile

#2781

Doing the family thing on Christmas Day and needed a cache do stopped here as I was in the neighbourhood. A quick find with a dry cache and log sheet. Paperwork completed, cache replaced and then back to the Hutt for the next thing on the busy schedule. Thanks for another cache - my #2781th smilie.

Merry Christmas to all Smile

13-Dec-16
Had time to check this properly on the way into work today. Found the cache had 'wandered' around the location. Please, Please return it to where you find it folks!
