After dropping off Geo-wife close by, I had my chance to grab this cache,
which turned out to be a quick pick up clever little hide and camo.
Thanks gc8

Nice and hidden in there, cute little surprise!! Thanks for the cache! Cransie and Hope
There is not much worse than getting to a cache and finding that your pen will not work. Luckily my car and another pen were not too far away. I knew I would be driving this way so I looked up a few caches along the route. I did not take my GPS with me and found this one with only my memory of the description. Well done me and thank you gc8 for the challenge.
Found it. TFTC.

Went to what my phone said was GZ and only foliage was extremely thick grass which led to no luck today.
A very busy day hunting down the "Space Endeavor" series for the swag of souvenirs on offer and they were all logged very promptly before time ran out.
Logging of the handfull of trads gathered on the to and fro however (including this little ripper) may have been overlooked in my rush for caching glory.
It took an expanded search radius but eventually the hide near hopped out at me and a log was signed. [^]

As I'd started off being 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
Cybergran V and dalerious had planned to spend the day finding the Space Endeavour series and they kindly asked me to join them Rex came too and had his first full day out geocaching [^]
By days end which was accompanied by thunder and lighning, I had found 46 caches and had 2 DNFs. We had rain and were dripping wet, we had glitter and were sparkly, we had lunch at St Andrews where Rex was not allowed into the market because apparently he is a dog We also found the whole Space Endeavour series and by doing so have apparently earned enough points in the Planetary Pursuit geocaching promotion to obtain all of the souvenirs
We thought there'd be no hope of this cache still being here when we got near GZ due to the heavy machinery and removal of reeds etc from the lake
However the cache was still in situ and we laughed the hide

I wanted to clear the DNF on this one, as these days caches seem to get archived very quickly. So glad we stopped here to stretch our legs. Our coordinates did take us closer to the water’s edge, where work is in progress, but the hint was needed to move us back to where I found this delightful little surprise.
This was s handy stop to have a bit of exercise for dalerious, locus cache and Rex the GeoPup, before our long drive home.
Thanks for placing it here for our entertainment.
Three logged finds will make this look much better

Workmen in area cleaning out the creek, did not look too hard for this cache, will return
Found last night with TrailStevo on a Sunday evening escape. Hoping for double figures, but it was had Work getting there, a few false starts, a few DNF, and quite a few cache in the area that might need some maintenance. Enjoyed the drivebys, short walks and exploring the area. TFTC
Managed to find a few tonight, although it wasn't smooth sailing with a number that we were going to visit indicating many DNFs or missing. TFTC
Headed to the Kinglake area with Jacko for an enjoyable day's hiking. Okay, a little driving too, but a lot of hiking .
Early morning and we were already prodding around the bushes, surprised with a great find here.
Thanks, gc8.

An early start with Pacman to venture out into some unexplored parts of the state - todays mission, Kinglake area. Spring is here!
There are lots of surprises that could be in a bush - careful where one is putting the hands! Todays surprise was a cute one - and a surprise. Thanks for the cache!

After a previous DNF almost 2 years ago and a new container in place, today seemed like a good time to have another look for this one. It turned up after a few minutes of looking and I was finally able to turn this sad face into a happy one. Thanks gc8 for bringing me out here.
New cache in place, ready to go. Please make sure you hide the cache as found so it can't be easily seen by passers by.
Went into this with a fair idea of what I was looking for having found a cache in this same location some years ago. Looks like it's nothing but bushes & curious looks from passing traffic for me today.
On arriving at the gz I could remember visiting this very area for a sneaky little tree hide several years ago. Today though I was in the area with Snap Happy grabbing a few smilies and we made a straight forward find after a minute or two. We still seemed to overlook this cute little hide but we soon had it in hand. Thanks gc8 for the hide.

Walked around in circles for a bit looking everywhere except in the right place I read the notes again and I soon had something staring back at me
A great little hide and I replaced it as I found it TFTC

We were in the area for a post-Christmas get together and as we had arrived a tad early we thought that we would grab a few caches. A quick find. TFTC.
Couldn't find it we saw a rock in a tree and looked around that area but too over grown

I had tried for this one previously, without success, but today, with the new hint, it was an easy find. tftc.
Out caching this morning with buddies Jeckleberryandtedd, Cathlud and charlibear10. Out last stop for the morning before heading back to shopping and studying, it was found quite quickly as the coords were spot on. Very cute. Tftc
Out with TinkerTraveller, Cathlud, and my geokid CharliBear10 for a morning of caching up in Arthurs Creek. Thought we'd duck into Laurimar to do this one on our drive back to the burbs. Such a gorgeous container. TFTC.
I have had this cache on my list-to-do since it was published but I had not had a reason to visit the area. Today I was out for a morning caching with TinkerTraveller, 'jeckleberry and tedd' and CharliBear10 around Arthurs Creek so we decided to stop here on the way home. As I was the driver the others reached GZ before me but I was the one who made the find as they had hurriedly bypassed the spot. We all admired the cache and it's delicate construction. Thanks gc8 for another nice cache.

A nice short caching trip around South Morang and Doreen, to pick off a few caches that have bloomed in the area since the last time I rolled through.
Not *there* again... I think this might be the third time this patch of greenery has been chosen for a hide. The first one was a nightmare, as it migrated around so that even the CO had difficulty locating it. The second was a tricky little tree hide. This third...
Oooh. That was a nice surprise. A fun choice of container to find. Thanks for the fun, gc8.

We went to check this cache and had to hunt for it ourselves - we found the cache 10m from the original location. We have moved the cache slightly, updated the co-ordinates, and put a hint that should help even if the GPS is bouncing around. Good to go now.
With only 1 DNF log I thought I'd at least have a go while I had my son with me. After reading previous logs and the hint, we searched and searched for around 10 mins. Sadly we couldn't find it either.
Another cache down. I must say after reading the previous log I was a little worried that I may run out of time searching for this one as I had to go to my friend. However luck was on my side and I quickly picked this one up I have to agree with the previous finder this could frustrate some cachers as it is a sneaky hide. Cool camo

*FTF* at 5:20 pm. Phew, I nearly walked away from this after a prolonged search, thinking it was either bad coords or muggled, BUT I sat down and reviewed how intimate I had become with the bushes and maybe a different approach was required. I sent a message to CO to check if I was in the right place, and while I waited for a reply I tried my new approach and it was soon found in a place I was SURE I had looked. (Always the way isn't it) This is going to be a cache where I can see people finding it quickly or slowly like me. Thanks for the fun and the hunt. Cute camo, fav point.
