Had a great stay at lake Wallace overnight, up early and making my way home caching via the blue mountains.TFTC Wilbert67
Don't know why I didn't have this cache on my target list for my day in the mountains. After leaving Clarence station I noticed it on the map and thought if I don't have a million holiday makers trailing me and I can pull off the road I'll give it a go.Surprisingly there was no one behind at all and there was plenty of space to safely pull off the road - to enjoy the view of course.Found the cache easily but it was hard to extract from it's hiding spot then very hard to open. After our massive adventure today we justified this cache as just one more close by and thankfully it was a quick find but no train spotted today. TFTC
Lost my pen on the last one but got the cache in hand tftc and cool view of the tracks
Quick find without spotting Watching the shout any trains but quite busy with the holiday traffic
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Si.tt. Deep in GR so we photo it.
Looked but no luck today. It's a really busy road and there's little room to park. Passing traffic spooked me... those BIG trucks.
Name and description I must read again? However, Co-ods lead to obvious hide. Strong fingers needed ( or a tent peg) All in good order. TFTC
Quick stop in for this travelling back to Penrith after the Lithgow Camp events. TFTC
Found It!
A quick find here on a cold morning! Didn't see any trains...

Out for the weekend with Rama497 completing more of The Road Less Travelled series.
We were returning home and grabbed a few caches as we drove over the mountains. This was one of them.
Thanks.

I found what looked like a possible cache container on the ground, but without a magnet attached to it, I very much doubt it was it. I searched high and low before I fitted a new cache. A small black container. I knew I was in the right spot a local said so. He had a rough idea of what was going on here, so I explained a bit more. As previous finders have stated, there is a new object here that the cache is located on.
Replacement work here recently Cache found on ground damaged. Log still OK replaced container and put back in place TFTC

Day 1 of our roadtrip to Canberra and back, a recreation of one we did 3 years back, to now share with our youngest team member. With the Putty Road closed, we diverted through Sydney traffic (joy) and onto the (smoky) Bells Line of Road to Bathurst, our stop for the night. We managed 18 finds for the day, with just 1 DNF. A good start.
A nice quick park and grab, the smoke was really thick here today... TFTC

Bit nervous as many huge trucks zoom past! Beautiful sunny day ; left a quiet interesting Lithgow behind for steeper climes.
Thankyou
Thankyou
Heading out to find some caches that are hopefully over the 1000 metre mark. Replaced cache and put new log in. Log signed and all hidden again. Thanks for the cache.
Unfortunately going to have to log a DNF on this one.
Everything went to plan this time - I wasn't misted out and so could safely pull over, GZ was rather familiar to me (seen this style before - maybe this was my problem), and I was donning Hi Vis.
Nobody seemed to care about me inspecting GZ but after the usual suspects of hiding spots were eliminated and the search widened a bit nothing showed up.
Maybe today just wasn't my day. Will try again soon hopefully.

Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found the log (see photo) but no sign of the magnet. Maybe some maintenance needed here!!!
A nice quick find on the way home from Bathurst. A great place to view the historic trains as they go past. TFTC
On my way into Sydney after camping for the long weekend in Dargan, I only had time for this one cache. It was a straightforward find, being right on the coordinates. Thank you Macca88 for installing and maintaining this cache.
Cooler today and so much better for geocaching and towing our caravan up the hill to the Blue Mountains. This was one of the caches we targetted and were able to find. We will base ourselves here at Lake Wallace near Lithgow for a few days and check out this area. It has been several years since we last visited. Not much in the way of views today with the low mist. Thanks to Macca88 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
On our way west, we stopped at the café for lunch and I checked for nearby hides. After placing our orders, we took a quick stroll to pick up this cache.
Nice one, thanks Macca88.
Nice one, thanks Macca88.
There are great views from GZ, which is an excellent vantage point for train spotting. Thanks Macca88.
