Full of ants and impossible to sign the log. Not the nasty ants though, so took a pic and will post when I can find it! TFTC
#8184 (4 of 22 today - including 5 Lab Caches)
Finally! Having been restricted to my LGA for soooooooooo long, I can finally get out in the worlds - up to a point. And this is pretty much the point! Not allowed to go much further than this.
On the trip down, I was hoping to grab a First2Find in Wollongong, but it was logged about 15 minutes before I could get there, so kept going to my target area.
Since my last physical find in August I had 10 Adventure Lab locations to grab, and grabbed all of them to keep the numbers - and a few souvenirs, ticking over.
So today, I went for a mix of Traditionals, Puzzles and Labs. Got most I went for but a few DNFs along the way - one or two probably due to impatience precluding a proper search.
And made my 8200 mini-milestone. Decided to make that the AL Bonus - in thanks for Labs keeping me going over the last 100+ days.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
First find on this one for a bit. Parked further away than necessary and walked back.
Quick find - my that container is... squashed.
Took it back to the car for signing duties and opened it to find a colony of ants had taken up residence.
Cleaned them out before completing signing duties and then walking back for the replace.

Me, Mr and Mrs Ant and a thousand of their eggs and babies found the cache container today. Just past the mobile speed camera guy. TFTC.
On a caching trip up the highlands with Yarffa, this was our first stop. A nice quick find
Today was a public Holiday in Canberra, and also the first day people were allowed to travel in NSW without an essential reason. This meant the dive club was out for a trip to Shellharbour. Diving did not stop me getting some caches on the way to and from the coast.
After two interesting dives the group had lunch in town, and then headed home. This was a quick roadside stop. Wow, lost of traffic along here.
Thanks for the cache Lawnikky

Thanks Lawnikky.

Day 284 - Today was a family visit day and after spending the day with family it was time to return to our camp so the cache was put into the GPS and we were on our way collecting some fuel along the way we soon approach the GZ. Arriving at the general area it was noticed that the area was undergoing some work however after making the way to the GZ the item that the Geocache was attached to was still sitting in the area it was a great thing to see the Geocache sitting there with the road sign.
Thanks Lawnikky for this cache to add to the collection however it may need a check in a week or two to ensure it has been returned to the place you set it.

Our second find in this series today. Nice quick p&g as promised. Lovely area to explore! Log was a pulpy mess, returned upside down to prevent more water getting into the cache. TFTC lawnikky xo
Shopping with geokids at Shellharbour then onto Mittagong for more shopping. TFTC. Cache extremely wet. Very hard to sign
This is a very dangerous cache to get. So close to the road with Cars traveling at 100kph, my safety mode prevailed and backed out.
Headed home from Wollongong I'm going the tourist drive. There's a beautiful panorama as one drives towards the range. This cache was a quick park and grab at the start of the tourist drive. All good with cache if you avoid the spiders. Tftc
started caching with my own account with my family. still getting use to the app =)
good find yay

Found on the 15th of May while travelling towards and around Robertson. TFTC!
Find Number 1511, found at 10:49
I have solved many puzzles in the highlands and, with the Planetary Pursuit promotion rewarding puzzle caches it seemed a good time to head up there and find some.
Heading up the pass to Robertson, I picked up this one. It was a quick and easy find.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log (sometimes we sign micro logs with G&T or GT) and replaced the container as found
Thanks Lawnikky for the cache.

Drive to Moss Vale for day to visit friends place ... find few caches with friend... thanks
OCW with delloro today around the Southern Highlands where we managed 32 finds. The title and the hint said it all, though I was feeling mellow yellow afterwards. TFTC
Found with nissan 65 . Very cool out here this morning with the wind blowing. Thankyou for the cache
Continuing my quest for 200 caches in 400 days, Halcyon123 and I stopped for this one on our way to see a play at the IPAC.
Luckily traffic wasn't too heavy - we overshot and had to scurry back to the right spot. Once there, a nice quick find. TFTC!

Found on the way to a night at the theatre. Recommend other cachers park on the Mountain end of the barriers and not walk all the way back as we did! Tftc.
Did a divert on the way home from work to grab a few caches. A nice easy Lawnikky cache. Parked safely and traffic wasn't too bad this arvo. TFTC Lawnikky.
Quick find in between muggle traffic. On the slow march to the big 1000 finds. Taking forever haha. Tftc tnln.
While staying at Moss Vale we took a drive out through some of the local area to look at the scenery and grab a few caches. TFTC
Plans were set in place with fitzy_1965 for a weekend caching mission around the Illawarra region We had a great time nabbing a whole bunch of caches with the only disappointment being the high number of DNF's due to missing containers
Nabbed this one on the way to our hotel in Figtree. Had to check the spot thoroughly first as I didn't want to have any eight legged encounters of the huntsmen kind!
Thanks for the hide, Lawnikky

11791. Found during a weekend caching trip to Wollongong with specimenX.
A plan was hatched for specimenX and myself to visit Wollongong this weekend to attempt the SES (those that we have solved anyway - we have a few left for next time) and LIPT series plus others. We left Canberra after work today and only made the one caching stop along the way for this one. A quick fiind at GZ by specimenX. Log signed, cache returned and we continued on our way to the hotel in Figtree.
Thanks Lawnikky !!
