Also a DNF but very busy Sunday arvo with lots or people riding past. Will try again in the week
No luck today.
I had a reasonable look, but time constraints sent me off to the next one,

One of the quickest finds of the night. Getting dark so last find tonight. Tftc
Super cool. I read the comments made the life easier. But it's here it supposed to be. Well done!!!
Ooh this was a challenging hide! I think the last cacher placed it in a spot that was hidden just a bit too well.... but a retrieved find nonetheless. Nice to tick this one off from a DNF a long time ago. TFTC
Found McJandals replacement (GABION DOWN LOW)
Few paper wasp nests around so be careful.
Clever and good hide.

My son and I had a rare opportunity to spend the day together without his annoying sisters (his words haha) and with such awsome spring weather we decided to hit the bike track grab some caches
Spend some time locating this little gem and had the best satisfaction feeling when we got it!!

Too close to the highway for my liking. Had a decent look but gave up in the end.
In light of the Covid 19 outbreak and the fact that we are going into lockdown. Kia Kaha NZ
Day out on the bikes with the little ones. First find of the day and we were stoked with a good start
I wasn't initially going to go to this cache being so close to the road. The last thing I wanted to do was search near the busy road with peak traffic but a read of the cache description suggested I wouldn't be in view of the traffic which pleased me much so off on my bike I went to pick this one up.
It wasn't in the first place I looked but soon I had the cache in hand.

Visiting Tauranga for the weekend and staying at an Airbnb which provided bikes. Headed out early to tackle this series. Not too many people about so reasonably undisturbed caching. Very convenient ladder. TFTC
Little One and Mrs had discovered this one when we were out for a walk awhile ago but decided to wait to collect until Mr was in our company. Thankfully no muggles around so it was a quick retrieve, sign and replace, before we were back on our bikes.
That was a quick & great find. Kids left some treasure. Lucky our kids are light
This was not safe or fun to do at night with a sore hip joint as it was very unsteady and sore. I wasnt going to give up easily and managed to sugn it while avoiding a third fall for today.
Out on our bikes enjoying the fine summer weather along with most of the Tauranga families, it seemed. Had to be very careful of bikers whizzing around the corner, but luckily our search was short and sweet. Cache is all good. TFTC
On our trip thru NZ we visit a lot of places and see many spectacular locations.
This cache was one of our stopps thanks a lot to the owner.

SB20 and I took to our bikes and had a great afternoon biking along this cycle way. TFTC
On this lovely sunny weekend Kathykaches and I decided to shake the dust off our old bikes and give one of these cycle trails a bit of a go. We had a great time cycling through here and stopping every few hundred metres to hunt for a cache. We signed most logs as KK + SB20. Lots of great caches on this trail and well crafted hints and hides. There were a couple that we missed so we will definitely be back to finish it off properly! Thank you for the caches!
Out on the bike still. Enjoying all these on this run. Some very well cammoed indeed, took my time biking along
This one was pretty different

Grrr. Has anyone noticed the geocaching map is not accurate? I wasted time following that instead of using logic. Oh well - - - it's all good exercise . Spotted the cache from one angle and retrieved it from another. A cool hide. Thanks .
Found it, for those vertically challenged it took a bit of fingering out how to retrieve this cache but if I can anyone can. Really challenging myself today. TFTC
Hint was good and checked the activity logs. Didn't take long to find and then all I had to do was sign and head on my way. TFTC
First of seven caches located whilst cycling this walkway this afternoon. Clambered up to almost street level initially, needlessly as I was to subsequently discover. After a few moments I was fortunate to spot the cached in its hiding place. A little bit tricky then clambering up to get my hands on it! #1850. TFTC.
Wasn't till I saw a past photo in the logs did I finally know where to look and sure enough the cache was actually in a easier place to reach (: thank you
3283 After spending the afternoon caching I was wanting to find one after midnight so that I kept my streak going and freed up today. After dinner I did some caching and then thought I would do the cycle trail in the area. This did not turn out very successful in finds but did kill time. 2hrs of searching with out a find although it was quite beautiful under the moonlight with the mist rising off the stream. Arrived at this one just before 12 so decided to hang around so that I could log it and go home. Enjoy the challenge of this one. Simple when you get the right level. Thanks for the placement. Day 56 of streak completed.
spotted as we approached the bridge, had to wait till the coast was clear lots of cyclists, you only have a few seconds to retrieve the cache before they are on top of you as they come around a blind corner, quickly replaced using the same method as retrieving.
Apart from looking up we weren't too sure where to look but mrs frewilys found it tftc
Continuing with our mission this afternoon to clear Tauranga's ***'Micros'***... thanks for the cache McJandals.
This one has been on our to do list for too long. Mr S found it because he's taller.
Thanks McJandals.
Thanks McJandals.
Definitely the walk of death. I'd have thought nothing of it in my twenties but age brings wisdom. And then, as I'm hanging out on a limb, about 30 cyclists come past. I just have to smile and wave...smile and wave. TFTC.
Looked in the wrong place initially but spotted cache after some assistance and then used what was available to get to the cache. Great camouflage! Tftc!
A bit of a tricky one for an OAP.
would have been handy to have the Grandsons there. Used a bit of ingenuity to complete this one. TFTC.

Have been trying to figure out the best parking spot to get this one as there is so much roadworks around here. After racing out to find newly notified caches we decided to scope this spot out. A small hike but worth it. Great hide in such a busy area. The traffic is non stop. Thanks for bringing us here
Well what a neat hide and great placement..every time we cross this bridge I say I must get this cache..so it was today.. a bit tricky to find parking as all the cones are out for the works tha signt are happening that solved and a short walk and soon at gz and the cache quickly in hand and signed thanks for a refreshing cache MC well done

On the mission today to make a joint milestone - finding my 4000th and Hari's 1000th - 4 left to go.
Cool hide! We came from the hi-way itself, and from the other side of the stream, so we actually walked right over the cache on our way, practicing our balance
Can be taken both from above and below!
