Was in the area today on our way home from ashburton, so we stoped in to check the cache. Cache in perfect condition, I just added a new snap lock bag and put the cache back with a brick on top to ensure protection. Happy caching.
DNF. I work nearby and gardening recently got done here so maybe its been thrown out
**20,437**Cache found exactly as per hint, so nice quick find. Made us hungry for ice cream! TFTC
The hint makes it super easy to find. Would be easy enough to find without the hint.
What to do on a Sunday? Geocaching of course!!Out today with GeoHubby (GNARwhal) to hunt down a few random caches while running some errands.A quick find here at GZ. Thanks for the cache.
Found with Gummi_Venus. I DNFd this one ages ago. Came by on a quiet weekend to avenge. Thanks for replacing! We found the container open and a bit of wet. Did some field maintenance, dried it out, and removed the bits of metal. All good here.
Found with ObnoxiousSpaceCat, cache easily found once we waited for someone to walk past (lucky it was Saturday so not busy in this area). The lid was slightly open when we found it so we cleaned out the container and relocated a wee slug that had made itself at home. TFTC!
Catching up with all of my logging.
Woops, nearly forgot to get my cache for the day. It's a multi dotday but I'll just get a trad. This was the one I chose. Under the cover of darkness, meant it was a quick find.
TFTC elliot13, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 1 today, making this find #4147

I found this little, tricky Cache during my after-dinner-walk. Really lonely place on a rainy sunday evening. TFTC and greetings from a german visitor!
Day #10 of my 11 day Summer Holiday and spending the weekend back in Christchurch for the Beerfest before heading home tomorrow. Quick find here on our way to the Riccarton Sunday Market TFTC
On a previous visit during a weekend this area was very busy, But not so busy on Boxing day. A quick park-and-grab today; TFTC
A quick park & grab on a weekend with a quiet GZ and thanks to the specific hint- no need to be lurking around looking suspicious
Also good to keep the numbers ticking over.
Container and log in great condition

New cache placed, ready to go. Please Please be careful for muggles when retrieving cache. Please recover cache as you find it and place back where you find it. Good to go now.
Went at night and had a good look. Found the thing it is behind at GZ. No cache but there is a massive hole under the object so it’s possible it fell in.
Due to the recent DNF I am disabling this cache until I am in chch on the 20th till the 23rd of September. YES this cache will be up and running as soon as possible. I am in the process of creating a new geocache container for this cache. Cheers Elliot13
Muggles parked at gz on a Saturday afternoon so headed off to another nearby cache. Returned a few minutes later but they were still there, did a casual walk by however could see anything so shall return another day.
Left a wee buddy;) to help your flame burn bright. 1 out of 4 of the elements that will help u fly hight
Could have done with an ice-cream yesterday.... Oh well, got this wee cache today instead
i had a 12.30 appointment in the city so decided to come up early and knock of a few around the area.... typical , phone not bringing up all the info so had to use my caching sense....nice and quite here on a saturday morning quick find tftc
Tregearp and I were early for a meeting not far from here, so an opportune time to check the phone, and sure enough there was a nearby cache. This is a busy road with a lot going on with trucks, forklifts, people enjoying their lunch in the sun in the loading docks, but everyone was engrossed in their own business so a quick and stealthy retrieve was simple enough. All in good order, completed formalities and replaced as found. Thanks elliot13 for the cache.
Out in the area with SJT_NZ for an appointment that we were a little early for, picked this up on the way and quick find and all in good order.
In chch to visit friends over the weekend. Cool this morning, but not ICy, I cached around the airport before making my way to see my mates boy play rugby nearby.
Still had time to kill, easy find.

We were out on this Saturday afternoon find some solved puzzle caches. I saw the title to this cache and said we have to find this. So happy I could see our favourite ice cream trucks. NIce and quiet here today thank goodness. Thanks for this cache elliot13.
Managed it middle of the day, was wearing tradie uniform, took my radio transmitter, chatted on it a few times and looked all official like I was working on something. Sat there for a while after scoping everything. Totally stealthed Cheers
This was far too easy as it was completely uncovered. Did my best to cover it with what was at hand so it is less obvious to the casual eye. TFTC
Since the CO does not appear to be watching this, and given that we replaced it a year ago when it was muggled, we have done the necessary maintenance on it today. The container has been replaced and a new system put in place for trying to keep it dry - pill bottle with dessicant lid inside an outer plastic bag.
What a busy spot! Dodged a few muggles but cache was located and signed. Thanks!
Found the obvious spot for the quick finds logged by others: a little hollow behind the only obvious object with an obvious covering item to hand. But no cache. We had a spare cache container, plastic bag and log to hand. So have replaced the missing cache. The CO might wish to check.
Reading comments should have been easy, but was looking for a good 15-20 mins and nothing... Nothing behind or under...
Thanks for the cache. Nice easy find. I didnt have a pen on me so I couldnt write in the booklet.
