Out and about but failed to unearth his one. We did the circuit several times but failed to unearth this one.
Third Narromine Night cache that made us stumped. We took a few loops inside and then another few on the outside. should have brought some plastic bags and collected all rubbish. maybe everyone caught for speeding or drinking could get two hours work beside the fines and clean up this beautiful place?
Tftc. Spent a few minutes checking all the usual spots, then mrs jaybeem read some logs. Did the biz and gave the "got it" cry.
Sadly, searched for ages around GZ but no find seriously confused as to where it is if its a 1.5/2...
It's great to log a Found It after a DNF yesterday. Following the GF win by the Sharkies last night, these Shire boys are happy.
Stopping for morning tea, meant a chance to make a better attempt. Circling the hiding place I soon spied the little sucker. Showed my muggle mates how tiny they can be, signed then replaced. Nice park with statue of Pigeon. TFTC.

Cairns trip 2016. Day 2. As I head further west I traveled through Nyngen & Bourke to stop a bit north of the border at a creek side rest stop. The day was dry but I had mixed results from my caching in some remote areas of Australia. Before heading off I spent the early morning around Narromine with a few finds and a DNF.
Thanks.

Visiting friends at Dubbo while on holidays caching. Decided today to travel out to Narromine where I lived for 4 years many, many years ago, when I worked in the Commonwealth Bank. It was good to do these caches out here in the countryside and how badly rain is needed. Located the caches and signed the logs.
Having a morning out caching near Narromine as part of our two week road trip from Canberra to Tweed Heads. Many interesting caches found, some we are still looking for and a greater appreciation of our vast country. Thanks to all the COs - you have brought us to some very interesting places!
Out caching today with DiMorgan, took awhile before we found this one.
Took time out to admire the statue of Glen McGrath,
Thanks Bourkebornandbred

Today we headed to the Narromine area, with us was team Tracystone & an 85 year old muggle Grandmother.
Hunted for quiet awhile in a couple of locations just about to give up when the last walk around the structure I noticed the nano poking its head out, boy was I pleased to see it. Good hint by previous finder.
We then took the time to examine the Glen McGrath statue.
Great location so given it a favourite point.
Thanks for placing this cache Bourkebornandbred

Round and round I went, looking and looking. With no luck. Don't quite understand. Noticed muggles across the road giving me funny looks, so I moved on. Ill let this one go for now.
The 5th cache of 31 for the day, which turned out different to say the least. Dubbo to Broken Hill, a visit to Trangie outpatients where there was no Dr on duty, I was given antibiotics and told they can't do anymore there. Sent to Nyngan where I received a Tetanus booster shot but as they where not advised about the injury just the Tetanus Booster and due to a previous emergency there I was advised to keep travelling and present myself to another out patients within 72 hr's to have a "foreign body" removed from my forearm. Ah well might as well keep caching as we move west, Eventually arrived at Wilcannia and headed through town, A lap past the hospital and nope I think we will keep going. So eventually arrived at broken Hill in one piece + "foreign object" still embedded in the arm and looking forward to another hospital visit. Maybe tomorrow, I'm nearly as good as finding hospitals now as cashes Ha Ha
Hoping for a quick stop and grab but after a chat with a council worker and a not so quick look finally had this in the bag TFTC

Arrived at GZ, great no-one around. just about to start looking and here comes council worker collecting rubbish. Struck up conversation with geo-partner, me pretending to be on phone. ( i seem to do that a lot ) worker moves off finally, great start hunting. Took a little time to find this one. Geo-partner finally spotted. All signed, off we go again.
Found at 1:41 PM GAFF2.
After lunch at the nearby Hotel - very simple frozen seafood out of a packet and deep fried (should have gone to the Kebab place), we headed across the road and in the cool of the rotunda started to search for another blessed nano. We then employed IF's method and found the little container straight away.
Thanks Bourkebornandbred.

A fun find in the middle of towne
There was plenty of train spotting action happening while I poked around for the cache.
That kept the park muggles distracted
It kept me distracted too
I wandered around GZ and after a complete lap, had not found a cache [:o]
How hard can it be ??
Oh wait the railway crossing signals are 'dinging'
After the short interruption, as the triple headed diesels hauled their rake of wheat wagons out of the station, I resumed searching for the cache
Must be a nano !!
I thought.
And after a lap of GZ on the outside this time, I spied the little blighter hiding in a place where I couldn't see it from inside
TFTC and train spotting !! [^]

Nice easy find after a couple of DNFs. Last one for the night. Great note to finish on. After receiving your help earlier today, I didn't want to take advantage of that and ask more hints tonight. I'll be back out here soon anyway. Thanks for the caches.
