Tassie Trip Day 208 - We decided on a day trip to Launceston to see about those new boots that we bought here but we were told you must have been draging you feet and I know I don't and the soul of the shoe has come apart from walking from the country we have been in but hey you spend good money and have no guarentee that they are any good.
This was a nice quick find and a spot to enjoy a quick find and a great view.
Thanks Hilberts for showing us the view.

Fancy another car being parked up here! Oh well goose had to get this one while i positioned the car to provide cover, a simple find and we were on our way again.
Myself and goose of gooseandegg planned a trip North into the badlands to get some caches to help with our hidden creatures finds, early start for a Saturday with me picking Goose up at around 7 O'clock even with a couple of stops along the way we made good time which helped us to clock up 42 finds on the Saturday and 24 on the Sunday before heading back to the civilised South, getting back in my drive at just gone 6pm with 580kms under my belt, 66 caches in 35 hours while not a bad haul is less than 2 an hour, I must try harder next time!

A muggle car tried to make this hard for us but we were able to park in such a way to block them. I snuck out and grabbed the cache from it's well hidden spot and returned to the car to log it. I soon had it replaced safely and off we went. Thanks Hilberts
Found after working the morning in Launceston and with some time to kill.
Thanks for the diversion

Visiting from NE Victoria and it has been a long day with lots of lovely caching adventures. A quick and easy find and SL at 3.37pm #5007 TFTC Hilberts
I know this is constantly used as a toilet stop so we weren't too keen to go digging around in the long grass. We decided to let this one be. Also there was way too much rubbish to really see what we should be looking for. We'll try again another day
Took a few minutes but found it luckily I had no problem with the dog next door he's fast asleep
Quick find thank goodness as dogs across the road didn't keep it a secret we were there. TFTC
Wow, that is some winding drive from St Helen's. I made the find quickly. This is not a family-friendly place. There is a crushed windshield near three fenceline. Tftc
found it, logged the wrong date :-/ I'm concerned that it might get 'manicured' in the very near future due to the length of the grass around there.
we from central coast NSW.....we drive to melbourne then catch ferry to Hobart to see family.... thanks
Quick find but lots of traffic. Looks like Arachnauts was here before we ran in to each other at cache #4 Merthyr Park. The blue was on more than our hands & we spent some time cleaning things up. Removed the source of the blue. Kutgw
I couldn't believe how close I parked to this one! A nice quick'n'easy driveby on our way to lunch at the Pub in the Paddock. SL TFTC Hilberts
A nice quick drive by after having to go off track for a few, thanks for the break.
With some assistance from hint, GPSr bouncing, found GZ and secured a signing. TFTC TNLNSL
I went for a ride to Scottsdale today, and picked this cache up along the way. tftc.

We needed a find today to keep our calendar colouring in competition going & this fitted the bill nicely as we'd already reccied the area. On our last visit we arrived to find a van parked right on top of GZ & they just would not leave no matter how long we extended the fake phone call. Today we parked in their wheel tracks for a quick grab. Thanks Hilberts, one more square coloured a Groundspeak shade of green.

Went out on the geo-cycle (MTB) to get this one and to get some exercise. Phew, just about all up hill, but worth it. The welcoming committee was out, but I looked in vain for the reviving barrel of spirits around the St Bernards' necks.... If you are an old bloke like me, and insist on cycling to this cache perhaps you should make sure you take your vitamins, even if you have to import them from Swisseland.
I was treated to a spectacular twilight afterglow over the rim of hills behind the city. Thanks for getting me out to grab this cache and enjoy the spectacle Hilberts. Left a paper version of my calling card.
