Didnt get to sign log as MUGGLE approached us, Maybe this cache should be moved as night geocachers (like ourselves) like to hunt and not be hassled by dogs and their owners (bad experience)

Lmao I don’t know what this does, but I found it. Well I think I did. So I went to Barry park with two of my friends and we were expecting it to be drugs or something, because it’s Barry park. It took us a good 3 minutes then we found it. I gotta say it was quite a good hiding spot. When I took it out I thought it looked like a bullet someone else thought it was a battery. And I decided to peel the tape off and accidentally twisted it open and was like “woah”. And then I saw all the names that were written on it and started laughing. But yea, it was pretty fun️and no need to worry cause we put it back exactly how we found it.

We are away for a few days on a TMGT tour journey through to Gisborne and back again. After a smash and grab on our last Whakatane Cache, we have had to be happy with a temporary perspex passenger window for the rest of our trip, so not too keen on leaving the car for any length or out of sight caches. So nice we could park neat to this one. Took us a little while to locate the clever hide. SL. TFTC.

This had been a planned trip in the company of HKCB to Whangarei but as the weather wasn't the best in the north we thought we would bring this trip forward and head over here to see what we could locate as neither of us had done a whole lot around this area.
Leaving home 7pm Friday evening and returning by midnite Saturday, 954kms travelled and approx. 70 caches located along with about 8 DNF's.
Thanks to all the CO's whom have put out these caches for us and completing the maintenance to keep them going.
The start of a new day and after a few hours sleep it was time to see what we could find with the real challenge being the new virtual as that was a primary goal for the trip. With the light up and no rain the day was looking good for a few caches. A nice quick find here

Thank you for the placement, thanks for the cache.

This weekend had been booked into headed to Whangarei with Cats&Dragons for a bit of caching, but as the weather wasn't looking flash at all, so we decided to head East instead to Gisbourne as we both hadn't done much caching in te area. Leave home about 7pm Friday, and returning home midnight Saturday meant we got a fair bit of caching time in for the limited time we had. All up we found just under 70 caches in total, so a big thanks for all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches we found on this trip.

Took a minute or two to find this hide, thanks for the placement.

Off the Golden Princess cruise ship, and we hired a car so we could cache our way around town. This was our 5th find for the day. A bit of searching before we had the cache in hand today. Cathylm was the one to spot it, I was at the wrong spot yet again!

06-Mar-16
After a bike ride to Wainui this morning, we returned to our accommodation for a coffee and a leisurely lunch before heading out again for some more exploration of Gisborne, and to find some more caches, of course. The CANZ Gisborne cache was on the must find list for today as we have the info from all the other North Island caches in the series (apart from the semi final).
We had a bit of trouble finding access to GZ, and in the end walked a bit further than we needed to but once at GZ, StreetWalker's eagle eyes spotted the cache. Perhaps I need a visit to specsavers? Nicely hidden. TFTC.

06-Mar-16
#11993. My first attempt to navigate to GZ was unsuccessful as we ended up outside the croquet club. We then looked at a street may, and found a side street to park in. Cache was a quick find once we had walked to GZ. TFTC.
