We found it on the ground so hopefully we have put it back in the right place. Thanks for arranging
Noticed it was near a gate to a property and read the previous comment about the property owner not being happy with the cache being here, so we decided to move on without looking too hard!
11688 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 0935.Cache in good condition. SL Tnx Nedandmrskelly.
This was a tricky little cache to retrieve. Mr Herbz found it but couldn't get it so Mrs Herbz thin fingers managed ease it out. TFTC
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 122. Yeppoon to Raglan via Rockhampton. I spent the morning around Yeppoon visiting a few more caches before beginning my journey South. It all took a bit longer than expected and I managed to find a few more caches than expected as well, so I pulled up early at a pub along the highway at Raglan. I'll get to Gladstone tomorrow and have a few more caches to do in the morning.
I liked this one. The way it is incorporated and that there are four caches here, I felt sure the land owner must be involved. The next cache told me otherwise.
Thanks for the cache Nedandmrskelly

A sneaky hide that kept us looking before we finally found it. Even then we needed to get out our trusty TOTT before w3 could sign the log.
Another beautiful day in Yeppoon. We headed out in the morning to search for some more caches and chase on a couple we missed yesterday. Some completed puzzles, a multi and traditionals were amongst the tally.
Thank you to the local COs for their work in developing and maintaining the caches.
ADDIT after we had replaced this we were bailed up by the property owner. He was not happy that there was a cache hidden on the gate, and has requested that it be removed.

9/7/21 Heading back to Mackay today after stayingin Yeppoon. Doing the tourist thing and getting some caches. TFTC SL
Funny. Looked there first but thought nothing of it and found it there in the first place I looked. Intellectual find
Dam good hide. It was on the ground but knew where it should go with pierces around the cache. We liked this one
Well hidden cache, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to Nedandmrskelly . It was a shame that the other 4 caches have not been maintained.
TFTC,
We worked on puzzles in a computer session last night and came up with solutions to a lot of the Puzzle caches in this area.
After a drive from Rockhampton this morning it was time to go out and post a few finds.
Then time to look at some traditional. Looks like most in this area need CO intervention but there were a couple worth looking at.
Very clever hide.
Tomorrow will be a tourist day.

Log only has one space left

This is a bad caching day ( it seemed like there were bugs nests in every hole!!
... talk about logging too soon it pays to look at your feet whilst walking back to the car!!! Put back where (we think) it should be. TFTC!
Caching in and around the area, we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
We had trouble trying to get to the cache as each time we got close it, it went further in, finally we got the log book out. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Today we decided to head out to Yepoon for caching & a nice sea change.
We found a good variety of caches in some amazing locations.
All these caches near here are really very good. This took us a while to get it from its hide.

How water gets into that spot is beyond me, but when the cache was released a small amount of orange water came out with it.
Thanks Nedandmrskelly.

In Yeppoon for seven days and head home in two. days. My plan was to achieve 50 finds whilst up here without any really difficult ones, due to a crook knee at the moment, avoiding the puzzles and any needing water craft. I have achieved my goal of 50, actually have surpassed that number and now just finding ones close to where we are staying.
Parked close and walked back to area of GZ. Arrived at GZ and due to the accurate co ordinates the hide could only be in one of two places. It was located in the first spot I searched. Obvious spot to me as I have found a lot of hides in similar locations in the 11 years I have been addicted.
Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and micro logs to save room on the paper.

Geohubby just noticed something abit odd & there it was. Need a tool to retrieve. TFTC cheers
Seeing that I had a half day I have allocated to caching while here, temingi kindly took me around the "back" area to Nedandmrskelly's caches. As Ken had travelled out to Alpha to visit my earth cache, I though t return the favour and visit some of Ken's caches.
While here, the CO turns up for a chat. Great to finally put a face to the name. Nice meeting with you. Attached the photo I took today of the tree of us together.
Good hide - all is OK.

Easy find for me today, I think Ratdog was off her game as I had to help her again with the find. We and the bad navigation to a cache and nearly getting bogged where we shouldn't have been but all is good.

Where on earth could this geocache be? Not your typical bison hanging from a tree. Took some thinking and poking and was just about to give up when we struck gold. Cleverly disguised! Tftc
We knew what we were looking for and we knew where GZ was but it still took a little bit of time to spot the prize and grab it. TFTC
Ftf with geoquinnies and red dwarfs. Ministro must have known we were heading out this way today! We got the notification and decided to head off sooner than planned. A clever hide. gracias Nedandmrskelly
