I found it when I was giving UP to check my scooter parking then stumbled on my first cach find
The GPS had me searching around some letterboxes and feeling rather exposed. But then I came to me senses and followed my instinct. Thanks for a detour to this lovely spot.
Out tonight to complete a challenge, and needed a couple of caches from the same owner that wouldn't be too hard to find at night, and this is the first of two that fit the bill! This find was a classic lesson to put the GPS away and trust my instinct - after fumbling around for a bit, trying to find the right location, once I leaned into my gut feeling, the cache was quickly found. TFTC!
I was super bored at home today so I decided why not come for a cache? I walked up here from my house quick find TFTC
**#19,300**Nicely done, lucky the clip was in place or it could have been a tricky one to retrieve!!TNLN TFTC

Great first find for my 3 year old. Very exciting start to the world of geocaching! Thanks!
On the way back from an hour at Northcote Rugby club, I decided to get a few caches logged. I went to (Pompallier Cemetry) Then I went to (Driveway to where?) then here. Since I have already done (Royalty to Royalty) and I knew that this one was by the same person, I soon found it.

A quick stop off near here and down the steps for the prize. Nice and easy find esp. after just finding another of this CO's caches. Views about to disappear under clouds!
Heading home after a mornings work over at Devonport and a few more tasks to complete once at home. Problem was I was heading back a different way after spotting a diversion in place and some impending rain clouds overhead. Managed to beat the downpour, but not by much, and stayed dry for my smattering of stop-offs, thanks to all COs.

Nice and easy after searched up what galvanised meant. Something odd looking was at gz and I used my hand to take a look at it and it was the cache. TFTC (Didnt sign log but took photo of log because of covid)
Took longer to find a car park than to find the cache. I like nifty ones like this. And nice not to be bush whacking for a change. Tftc
Nifty...restored my faith a little after failing at the royalty one...thus far!
Found on a evening hunt with brand0n and darkangel. We searched for this one where the GPS initially took us, and we thought we had found it as there was something that fit a similar description. After further inspection, it was just a red herring so we turned to the previous logs. Within seconds we all had the same "aha!" moment and we all raced to the cache. Brand0n was the fastest... TFTC!
Current score:
Mikefnz: 5
Brand0n: 4 !
Darkangel: 3

#626. I'm glad I found the previous one first - GC606CT From Royalty to Royalty, because it made finding this one much easier! If I hadn't, I fear I would have been looking for a very long time. But it was a short search on this occasion.
Although..... when I found the cache, it had a big monster guardian! At the risk of giving the hiding spot away... I just have to attach a picture of what came with the cache. If you're scared of creepy crawlies, then be careful! It's a weta I think.... or is it some kind of mutant grasshopper? Possibly crossed with a cockroach?
Despite the scare... thank you very much for the cache! It's been an eventful few caches tonight, that's for sure.

Was in the area so drove round here for a quick find today although only cos I noticed something strange as I was walking down to where the GPS wanted me to go. Thankfully I saw it and I was quickly outa here again. TFTC
Cache was placed on my birthday ... sweet! Had to read some previous logs to locate it. GPS all over the shop for me here. TFTC
Another find for Geowhanau. The GPS lead us to a spot a few metres away, but we found it eventually.
Out with alpenmilch80 for some after work caching today amongst the showers and we came by this one. Was hoping for a few quick finds and we managed exactly that with no issues here - a nice sneaky hide with a few ups and downs before we honed in on the right spot. Off to the next before it got too dark. TFTC
After work geocaching workout together with evilno9 to get some more numbers for the hidden creatures. TFTC
Quick and easy, hoping to get a handful this evening to bump our numbers up for the hidden creatures souvenirs. Tftc
A fairly quick find under the streetlights. Were just trying to up our numbers in the Hidden Creatures quest. Thanks!
This one had me going up and down for a bit checking all possibilites out and then I had to wait for a muggle to pass by and then I had all fingers crossed that no one across the road was looking out their windows . . . . . found, signed and returned and off for another find today
It's the Shore so obviously we have been out collecting G-2 caches...it's always admirable to find a cacher that finds a spot more than 161m from a G-2 cache north of the bridge so it would be rude not to come and take a look for at least one.
Left the dog in the car for this one since it was such a short walk, and headed to GZ. Noted to Mrs Tuolei that a spot would be ideal for a cache. She let me walk on for a bit before noting that just opposite would also be good, in fact so good it had a cache in it.
Good hiding technique that with any luck should keep it out of the hands of muggles. All good here and thanks for the cache.

Nice quick find here, didn't need to go far down the stairs. Out today for a full on day. Hoping to make my 6000th land on Basket of Dreams.
Stealth was very important today as the muggles in almost all of the neighbouring houses had decided to work in their yards.
Nice hiding spot, we initially walked right past it but soon spotted it on the way back up.
No aircraft were spotted today but the combined noise of all the lawnmowers, leafblowers etc... was as deafening as a jet engine. TFTC.

Nice quick find today. A easy park and grab and I didn't even have to go all the way down the stairs! Thank you (:
Once again teamed up with McCuthen Cache Clan for an excursion into the "Land of the Northern Jafa" to see what we could drum up in the way of cache finds. Our more recent attempts to locate caches have been excellent but usually before the first hour was out we were wet to the skin (and remained that way for the remainder of the day. Today we were hoping for better weather, and apart from one heavy shower managed to acheive our goal.
Setting off from Mr McC's at 4am we were working to be home at a reasonable hour (according to our respective wives), and we even managed this, along with locating 62 caches for the day, so all in a success for two southerners. Signed as "MCD" or variation there of.
I will apologise now for the "copy and paste" logs but yes we did have a great day out and enjoyed ourselves and a big thank you to all the cache owners that put in the effort to keep the game (obsession) going for the rest of us.
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Out on a late night cache run, starting with an event and ending with an event. We signrd the log as HOAC. Thanks for placing this cache and making our night enjoyable
Nice hide here, overshot as GPS was a bit off, but read some of the recent logs and had another think about it. Left the car here where it was parked and wandered over to "From Royalty to Royalty" next, before heading home for dinner. TFTC
Had a hunch as we approached but the GPS made me second guess. Should have stuck with my instincts - had it hand once I went back to check my hunch. Very similar to another in the neighbourhood! Had to get the kids to be quiet as they celebrated the find so the muggle neighbours didn't come looking to see what the fuss was about. Thanks for the cache
I was on my way to my accountant a bit early and had time to get a couple of caches. This was the first one.
Cheers for the cache.

Tftc after walking up and down the steps with GPS playing up. Used our geo senses and quickly found the goods, great spot
Great hide, plenty of potential resident muggles so my stealth skill certainly was put to test!

We'd found this and Mrs Jag50 was signing the log when 2 chaps from the house just down the path came outside and started chatting so we had to wait til they turned there backs before she could replace the cache unnoticed
Had found and were signing the log when we were almost sprung by a couple of guys who decided to stop and chat close by. Managed to get the cache returned and not spotted.
Took us a number of times but finally found it Had to use the hint in the end. Too many neighbour activity around to complete log, so will be back at a more quiet time. Thanks for the cache!
Took the kids out for some fresh air and some caching and decided to go to an area we hadn't been to before on the shore. This was our first cache of the day and a nice easy one... as soon as we approached GZ I knew where to look TFTC!
#2708. I was up in Auckland again and had a day of leave owing so headed out to target a few select geocaches. Headed over to the North Shore as I had a particular cache I needed to find to complete a challenge cache. Picking up a few caches on the way that were close to the road. This one took a minute or so for the GPS to settle but once it did I spotted the hiding spot immediately and soon had cache in hand. Signed the log and replaced as found. Didn't notice any twitching curtains in the nearby houses. Thanks for the cache.
This was a fun one - sprung my a running muggle - blamed Pokemon craze and he was happy! Master 8 found this one. Mama Drylie
Found it... 3 caches within 20mins walk from each other.
Very very similar cache to Royalty to Royalty just down the road.

OK I had been walking for a couple of hours now and was starting to feel the need to go home and rest, but I was still determined to grab a few more caches for the day. This one was not too far from the nearby reserve I had been caching in, and also there were other caches by you nearby, making the challenge I am working on a little easier. I headed to GZ and before the GPS had even thought about zeroing out I spotted something out of place. Yup there was the cache, all in good condition. TFTC #517
My GPSr had me looking at some other objects. Once I looked up, I figured it all out. TFTC.
This cut-through is one of my usual running routes, but today it was just a quick drive-by on my way home from work.
Needed to find a cache on 1st to get the souvenir. However was finding it difficult to get the time, as today was my families Christmas get together. This year we were all of in different directions at Christmas, and by the time those who had traveled away, were back and before my son headed back to Wellington, New Years was the only day we could all get together.
Heading home after dark, I had to convince my kids (who had given me a lift) to make a slight detour, so that I could find this cache.
I usually try not to do caches that mention views at night, waste of time with not being able to see the view. However this particular view is also splened at night. TFTC

The day was moving along way to swiftly, definitely has a feel that Christmas is approaching. Need to find a GC for the daily streak. Workmen were overlooking GZ but thankful that literally was able to amble down , pick up cache ,keep walking to a quiet area to sign, and stroll back as if nothing was happening. TFTC
Like a lot of other people. Over shot go first but doubled back and found it quickly.
