checked on this cache today and noted a lot of damage to the tree - not necessarily from caching activities as it looks like kids are climbing the tree - but have decided to archive this cache and leave the tree in peace!
Been past this cache hundreds of times on the bus, saying one day,
Well today was finally the day, had time to fill in before appointment,
So jumped off the bus here, to make a quick find, cache was partially exposed,
Tree has a lot of bark damage, and cache is getting hard to cover,
may need to be slightly relocated ?,
TFTC.

Wow they are building a great playground here - just the massive slide and tower to be opened by the looks. Of course the kids had a good old try out of everything, but enjoyed the water play structure the best. We couldn't pull them away so we made our way to gz a short distance away to search. Found after a short search (although looks like a lots of bark has been pulled away, have to be gentle when searching.) Cache doesn't have a lot of covering now but it wasn't that obvious unless you are having a good look. TFTC
Nice find after your party thanks NZTravellers !
Friday 13th too !
Better head home before it's the 14th....

6.30pm - Just had dinner down the road when we spotted this cache. Bit of a search in the dark and cache found. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Unsure of our mission at present. We are looking for high difficulty caches, but anything will suffice today... After a brief pause for dinner, the decision was made to continue picking up park and grabs as the light began to fade...
Not sure if we would hug 'this' particular specimen, but the cache was a quick find. There seemed to be a few people wandering about in the darkness, but just out of range from our position... TFTC.

The first cache I ever found. Late logging, because I'm a dumb American TFTC! Loved finding this one
Cool spot ran to a few of the trees cause my compass was being a funny thing and sending me in circles but got it in the end
Found it with a group of school holiday kids just for fun while we were at the park. Fun activity for the kids
The park was very busy this evening but no one noticed 5 of us wander over to look at the tree, pretend to take photos while the log was signed then wander back to the car.
Safety and anomity in numbers, lots of people enjoying a beautiful Summer night too busy enjoying their life to eorry about us.
On a trip to Auckland with Davidson Clan to take part in a Browns Island excursion. A busy place but with 5 of us we fit right in - made short work of this one, chees NZTravellers.
Found with Phillip Perry while on a road trip up to Auckland we were joined a couple of Auckland people and made this a quick find on a hot summers evening park was very busy but we surrounded tree took photos and signed log.

I'm currently attempting a 50 day streak for the GIO Licence I am working on and as an added challenge a few of the SEAC crew are joining in.
After an outing obtaining coordinates for my latest hides I went on a mini maintenance spree of the current ones. The last one was 24/7 not too far from here and I realised I still needed a cache for the day. Hmm don't think there are too many around this area that I haven't collected - oh yes there is.....
Arrived at GZ and thought it might be a tricky NZT hide but actually the cache was out in the open and had no log. With log situation soon rectified with some paper it was hidden back in its hidey spot and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache. Streak day #44

Yay. Simple find. First Geocache done and dusted. Was around the corner from home. So an easy 100m walk. But still I drove. TFTC.
Had just grabbed the cache only to have a car pull up on the grass beside the tree and two guys get out to photograph their car. Had to take the cache back to my car and wait 30 minutes for them to go away. TFTC
As I walked up, I saw a police officer standing with a clear view to GZ. My strategy is always to approach them and explain what I was up to. So I said hello and she had already heard about Geocaching, so there was no problem.
I made a meal of the find. Maybe I was too tall to spot this one right away, but I eventually found it. TFTC.

While waiting to get 2 tyres replaced had a quick look on c:geo and spotted a close cache nearby.
Grabbed the chance in hand quick walk to and from the tyre shop.
Easy and quick find on this lovely sunny day. Great way to start my road trip. Tftc

Easy enough find in the dark. Went round and round at first but got there on round two.
found this one on a lil geocaching trip after work! nice and easy, thank you for the cache
Our son loved the nearby playground, and I left him and Mr F there while I walked over to the cache. I could spot the right tree on approach due to the great description. Just had to watch out for the nearby people at the bus stop. Thanks for bringing us here.
A few folks in the playground , but far enough away not to bother me. Quickly spotted.

A quick find in our new local hood to fill in another dot day on our calendar matrix. A quick look at satellite view over pizza for dinner and thus knew exactly which tree to search when we arrived at GZ! Thanks for the cache.
Geocaching my way around Auckland with Just-Lookin.
Had lots of fun finding some caches.

After finishing up work close by to GZ this evening I decided that a small detour on the homeward trip was in order to collect this cache. I parked up nearby and made the short walk over to GZ. A short search and the hide was soon detected. Cheers for the cache placement!
Found this one my way to work this morning (Second time in about a week that I have been "Second to Find) TFTC
Yay! Our first FTF! Waiting in the Pizza Hut for our dinner when we saw the email & rushed off. Will go back for our pizza now! TFTC
