There was nothing obvious here. And there were lots of spiders we weren't going to annoy today.
Another one gets away from us lots of overgrown trees and bushes with heaps of rubbish might be a hideout for kids. Were a bit worried about poking around in here.
Hi there gabs1963. While out on the road today we hunted this cache but after a search we came up empty handed . Thanks to gabs1963 for this cache.FieldNotes:
Geraldton Day 4
Campping at the caravanparkn near the lighthouse for four nights
Today we spent the morning caching with Diane from Team Crackers
A variety of caches found today in some very scenic locations.
Thankyou to the CO's for hiding this cache

Di Morgan was in town and I was able to join them for a mornings caching around the suburbs of Geraldton
We visited some scenic locations, some that I hadn't visited before even though we have spent a fair bit of time in the area over the last few years.
Some caches were found relatively quickly but some were not. Bill found this one with the aid of his trusty walking stick,
Thanks to all for placing these for us to find.

No luck for us today. Searched for 10 minutes and then searched a little more. Feedback for the CO: Maybe a hint would be appropriate particularly for the height given the ratings are both 1.5 and therefore should be an easy find? Thanks for bringing us here regardless.
Found it. TFTC gabs1963. Happy to make the find here, Took far too long here. Replaced as found,.
Day 3 of the road trip with the boys C10,B12,L1.77 - lots of laughs and perhaps a little therapy will be needed after this trip. But one thing is for sure - I am determined to get a few more yellows on the map on my final full day here in Gero. Many thanks to the COs for the mix of caches. Sorry for the genetic log
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Quick find thankfully. Had to clear a spider out of the way first. Cheers gabs1963!

Made a quick find on a quiet day, not a fun one to retrieve though, signed the log, TFTC
Find 11 of 29 with fourteen DNFs on a day-long 30km bike ride around Geraldton with not a cloud in the sky. Many more DNFs than we would usually register, this is a tricky town! Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.
Figured this was probably still here and persisted till the find was made. Bit of an awkward spiky GZ at the best of times!

Decided to head to Geraldton to pick up all the new caches that had recently come out and also rectify some of our previous DNFS. Had a good days caching with 57 finds and amazingly only 1DNF. Most of the caches were quickly found. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches
Hi there gabs1963.
We found your cache **"Nice link"** at 12:17:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 22646).
We are staying in Geraldton for a few days catching up with friends. When we had a free moment we started our caching run by nominating a cache some distance from our camp site and then took a route that was sometimes determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our interesting trek around the local area
We ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. (3 finds today & 5 DNF's). Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic travels around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Outnabout filling a space in the D/T grid. Had tried previously to look for this one and so knew I was up for a challenge. Once seen it can't be unseen. How did I miss that? Thanks gabs1963
We awoke to another beautiful day in Geraldton, fantastic after the two windy, wet days when we first arrived. so what better thing to do than to head out geocaching again.
Yesterday we worked in the central art of town and down round the port so today we decided to head out a bit to the south, along the top of the rise first then returning along the coast.
It was a mixed day with a number of well crafted caches, a number in need of maintenance and some great hides. With the outstanding views it was a great day.
We were nearly sprung by a muggle and his dog at this one but fortunately we pulled the find before he was too close. The severe trimming on the shrub has probably made the search easier, but it is still well hidden and there.

After an unsuccessful bike ride looking for caches around the headland we detoured to this one. Two motorbikes were going up and down this very quiet road being watched by someone standing next to a car. We suspect they might have been trying for their motorbike licenses.
A quick find of a nice container. Thanks.

Wow nice hide here and the hiding place has been pruned which makes it easier but we were worried it might have gone! TFTC
I decided to have a big day and find as many in and around Geraldton today before heading further north. Took longer than I expected! TFTC!!
Last missing smiley for the area, no problem finding and reaching it . tftc gabs1963
Waiting for Mickeydv to run his race so I headed out to explore and find a few caches. Thanks, I like these big bisons.
On a 4 day drive to the warmer weather, stopping in at Kalbarri, Denham, monkey Mia, Carnarvon and Gascoyne junction.
Hoping for 2 LGA’s that we’re missed on the last trip this way and to clean up the map.
Travelling with the usual suspect Barnzy12
This is now a find finally!
gabs1963 We found your cache Nice link thanks for placing this cache for myself and others to find.

Continuing our cache hunt north of Jurien on our way to the Murchison for Easter, happy to say we walked away with a smiley today, both on our faces and our profile TFTC

Needle in a haystack or how the saying goes
Too many spider for a late night hunt
Too many spider for a late night hunt
Went and checked on this got to it easily with magnetic extender no garden orbs near it
Had a little look pretty over grown and the gold orb spiders kinda put this mumma off.
Out and about caching with CAD on our last day in Geraldton ... Quick find here once we found the correct road! T4TC:) #4413
After we checked into our accomodation we hopped back into the car to take a look around and grab a couple of caches before it go too late. All good here, thanks for the cache abs1963.
Enjoying the journey with iluvtrekking as we head towards Geraldton. So many great spots to check out along the way. After checking into our nearby accommodation, we headed out to grab a few more finds while there was light. Last find for the day. Thanks gabs1963
Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks gabs1963 (F=374 H=34) for placing this cache.

Found with Micaparamedic. The first cache of a new day and this one had the potential to be a haystack but instead the cache was in a logical spot that we could reach.
A good spot to stop on a bike ride
Bike path provided [^]
And I found meself staring at another Geraldtowne haystack.
Only this one had a wall behind it.
Poking the haystack did not produce a cache find
Well ... every wall has two sides
So off I trotted to search the haystack on the other side
With the predictably same result
Ah well, I'll add the DNF to me growing collection

Running around doing maintenance checks on all caches, still there and in good condition
Grey nomading and caching our way up the middle, across the top, down to Perth and home to Adelaide for Xmas. Out and about on our last of 8 days here. T.F.T.C.
Had two goes at getting this one. Got a confirmation from TeamBastholm that we were on the right side and geohubby soon had it in hand. TFTC. SL.
Noticed this last night and thought I would swing past this morning and have a look, after a few minutes of searching I soon spotted this nice sized cache and after opening it up realised that I was the first to find. What are the chances, my first ftf in ages! and miles and miles from home. Thanks gabs1963 for the cache, greetings from the sunny Yarra Valley!
Was hoping for a FTF but were beaten by two other teams.
Love the cache container.

We thought we were in for a FTF today too but were beaten to it. A great hide gabs1963. The container was much admired. TFTC!
