Almost certain we found the spot, but inclement weather made it impossible to access. Great spot though!
Found a promising spot in a promising tree, but it was full of stagnant water -- so if the cache was there, it's drowned ...
i’ve been to this geocache twice and i still can’t find it, maybe the navigation is off but it says that i have to go into someone’s property
Having a day out with the geodaughter and picking up a cache or two. Cache in tact. Good hide fir such a highly populated area. TNLN. TFTC. Pen didn't work so took pic
Do you don’t like to make it easy do you? Battling both creatures and muggles here. Beautiful tree. Tftc! Found safe and sound, Once I got a break in the traffic
4 Sep 2019: Streak Day #188/366 (1 March 2019 - 29 February 2020).
Stopped here after my appointment tonight, had to brushed spiders away. Thanks goldennuggethunters for the cache.

The hardest part of this cache is finding a break in the pedestrian and cycling traffic! tftc
Out for a lunchtime cache to keep the streak alive. Had to wait for a mum and her young rider to pass, but a quick find here. Tftc
With time for one more cache before having to head off for my evening appointment, I decided to head to this one for a look. It was pretty quiet along here (thank you rain) and only one cyclist passed me on this section of track. With the spot on coordinates it was a straightforward find. TFTC
TFTC. Going down anniversary Trail. Quick find
Didn’t have a pencil. Proof photo attached

Made the train out this way for wander. Nice new fencing on the railway side & a relatively quiet path. TFTC
In Ashburton for Dr's appointment but a bit early and this cache only 206 m away so quick dash. After a bit of muggle dodging cache found and log signed.TFTC
I have caught the train out to Ashburton and Alamein quite a bit recently but have neglected this cache. Today was the day to go and find him. A quick find while walking along the rail trail path.
Suscoe was enjoying an afternoon in the east of Melbourne today.
After a little drop of rain around lunch time the afternoon was mild, sunny and quite pleasant really.
This was a good area for getting around today as the traffic was quiet.
A nice walk and find.
All good at GZ today.
No spiders!!
Thanks to goldennuggethunters for this placement.

Neat spot. Probably about the closest to home but we never seemed to come this way with a pen and no-one around. Thanks.
With time to spare in between jobs I took the opportunity to grabbed a few caches along the way. With the coast well and truly clear as far as I could see the pathway, I made my move to quickly search and find the cache. Thankfully it was in the very first place I looked so I quickly signed the log and re-hid the cache. Job done. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams

A passing muggle overheard a comment from the bushes and gave me the strangest look. Funniest moment today.
Cheers goldennuggethunters

Just pick the perfect timing amd you'll get to it easoly with no muggles spotting you!
Sometimes this path is busy and you have to wait out the muggles , other times it’s quiet and you can’t see anyone for miles . Thanks
Another late night find to fill a gap in the 366 calendar. Parked the car close by and went for a stroll. Being night it was deserted and so the searching commenced with wild abandon. Fortunately wild abandon wasn't really required for this straightforward hide. Thanks goldennuggethunters!
Great spot on a Sunday morning, biggest issue was my phone gps throwing me off, but mr 6 found it in good time. Replaced as found. Tftc!
Well this was my second trip out to this area this week. TrailStevo was out this Tuesday and we needed a walk. Clocked up near to 10km in the end and over 10 cache, which the geodog thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to Cherryslice, 4bait, smartemily4, Earthbound Chief and Goldennuggethunter for all the hides and maintaining the cache. A nice variety of hides and i guess I have now begun my search for those Mystical Creature thingys. TFTC Gunks
Wanted to try and boost the numbers for the month and get a long walk. Accomplished both tonight with Gunks around Gardiners creek trail and surrounds. Mostly straightforward finds with a couple that made us linger longer. TFTC
Thought I’d found this one before maybe I didn’t log. Anyway one of my finds today on a joyful bike ride on a balmy May arvo. Thanks Goldennuggethunters for the hide
I was exhausted by the time I got to this cache. I ended up walking everywhere in search of a public convenience which was found a block away in a cafe which was closing for the day. It looked really a great place hidden in the middle of the suburb away from main roads, etc. We must return and taste their wares. The manager kindly let me use his facilities despite him being ready to go home. You can really get caught out in these places when even the railway station doesn’t have public toilets! After my averted emergency I decided to go a bit further and get this cache. Easily found but cleverly concealed in a handy location. It was just as well I found this as the one I was aiming to find in this area was found. TFTC
An easy find. To think how many times I'd cycled past here before I got into geocaching. Sweet! TFTC.
Left work a little earlier than planned and made a detour for a cache or 2... parked about 200m away and found after a minute or 2 in the first spot I should have looked! Thanks to goldennuggethunters for placing this cache.
Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs (some three months later). This was my last evening out and about so I finished work in Frankston and headed to grab a few caches along the Gardiners Creek Trail and surrounds. I was here late last year but I think the cache may have been missing at that point. This remained on the list to clear off that sad face! My caching evening was at an end and if I'm honest I was pretty tired so this was my last one to try on the way home. Walked down from High Street and once I reached the familiar GZ I quickly made the find. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache goldennuggethunters and for replacing this so I could wipe off my DNF.
Beware of spiders was a great clue!!
It’s not a mint Tin anymore but a small medicine bottle/ container.

Another cache late afternoon while enjoying the sun. A short search after hitting GZ and the container was found. A little wet on the outside, but dry enough on the inside to protect the log. Thanks goldennuggethunters for the quick grab on the way home!

With a few hours to go caching I headed out this way. A very pleasant walk with a quick find once at gz.
Thanks goldennuggethunters for the cache. I've never been down this end of the trail.

Terrific day for geocaching. After a dip in the nearby Ashburton Pool, this one was just waiting to be found. Cache is well placed and in competition to multiple legged beasties. At the time almost no muggles around who would notice anything. Traded a swappable. SL TFTC. Thanks for bringing me here on such a glorious day Goldennuggethunter.
Parking was a bit of a stress but once there it didn't take long before the cache was in hand. Nice little walk on a fine spring afternoon. TFTC
With Zedaycee out for our daily cache. This one was quick and easy. Glad to see it all fixed
Completely redone the chach. Added a ftf geocache pin. Sorry it took so long everyone. Thanks for your time.
I appreciate the good intentions of 'frilk' in bringing the situation regarding this cache to the attention of the geocaching community.
Logging information regarding a cache is certainly to be encouraged and is a great way to alert the community to an issue with a cache. However, making direct contact with the CO via email/message and acquainting them of your observation AND/OR logging a 'Needs Maintenance" log on the cache page is the preferable first step. Please only use the 'Needs Archive' log when there are serious problems with the cache or its location, or if the CO has not responded to a 'Needs Maintenance' log.
Posting a 'Needs Maintenance' log on the cache page notifies both the geocaching community as well as the cache owner. This log adds an attribute to the page (looks like a colored cross) to alert other geocachers of the needed repairs. Needs Maintenance logs are not forwarded to reviewers, but they are the first step in the Archive process.
If the geocache has not been found for a reasonable amount of time and the cache owner has not reacted to a "Needs Maintenance" log, then that is the time to post a "Needs Archived" log on the listing. Please read the Help Centre article: [When a cache needs maintenance](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=107&pgid=434)
**A recent Needs Maintenance log has not actually been placed on this cache. so I am placing one with this log.**

No luck today. I would suggest that given it hasn't been found for quite some time and the CO hasn't been active for a while this has been abandoned.
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
No luck for me here. I was out in the area so came past for a look but wasn't able to make the find this time. Thanks anyway.
