What is an interesting location, beautiful quartz geology and some great history dating back to the early 1900s here at GZ. We enjoyed seeing the ice cream cart replica, and reading about the incident that occurred here. Thanks LowPatA favourite point added. Domsky
Good hide GPS had us in another spot but then decided to look where a perfect hideout would be GOTCHA TFTC

This was an interesting little area to explore. We visited the picnic attack site yesterday and it was great to hear more of the story here. The quartz was also interesting. Tftc
#19590 - 5:33:00 PM; Day three of a road trip taking the long way to Adelaide from the National Capital with the geohoney. Spent the night in Cobar, and after an early caching run around the town to collect a few more, then a couple in Central Darling to cross off another LGA, we arrived in Broken Hill. Checked in to the motel, then grabbed a couple of caches nearby, before setting off for some sightseeing, collecting a few caches along the way, including this one. All were found in good order and returned as found once the log was signed. TFTC LowPat
We love being on the road and caching gets us out walking. A few up here in Broken Hill that weve missed on previous visits so well make up for it this trip. Team effort by the middle and not so small one whilst the big one and the geodoggie kept watch for muggles!TFTC
Grew up in Broken Hill and knew the story of the picnic train attack but had never been to White Rocks! Very interesting. TFTC!
Out caching with my caching buddy, MrsShep77, and our faithful drivers. Thanks for the great hides.

The three of us were spending a few days in Broken Hill, and stopped to find this one. After finding "first act" a couple of days ago this cache was a nice book end. Interesting story that I didn't know before visiting these caches.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache LowPat.

Freddo and Team Waldron headed to warmer climes around Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Cunnamulla
and Charleville.
After a cold start in Broken Hill the weather improved once we got further north. Sadly our last night in Broken was wet which, pardon the pun, put a dampener on things.
All up it was a great week away and lots of caches were found with only 3 dnfs.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained their caches. The occasional cache was damaged and we refurbished it and we also left new logbooks as required.
