This cache is missing. I used the hint and Usachis picture to locate its hiding spot and its not there.
Can the owner confirm whether or not this cache is here please. I am pretty sure it is missing
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Lots of seals around but luckily none in the critical area. So many more seals than I have seen in the past. Great place to show case our wildlife and cache at the same time thanks
Out on an attempt to cache Moeraki clean of unfounds today. I could have sat nearby to GZ for ages watching the seal pups playing in their nursery pools. Thanks for bringing me here drawp. Sad to see that the old track down to the Yellow Eyed penguin hide is not open anymore - well at least I never saw it. I still have my old tracklogs showing in my gps and the new gravelled trackout to the point is much higher up the ridge. But I know that the Yellow Eyed penguins have suffered a serious decline recently due to a disease and maybe the colony that was here is sadly no longer.

What a spectacular start in 2024. We had a wonderful 5 weeks trip around New Zealand South Island - Te-Wai-Pounamu. We saw a lot of fantastic places, met a lot of so friendly, relaxed and helpful people. The nature is gorgeous beautiful for me, I love it During our trip we also found some geocaches and saw very nice places also off the beaten tourist tracks. Here we saw no penguins, but the walk was nice and the view fantastic TFTCcassandra07
We are going out to explore our world. Find new and special places around the world not only where we live. Therefore it was a pleasure to find your cache.thanks to drawp for the cache.########################TFTChsErich
This is an amazing spot to see so much wildlife and feel like you are amongst the seals
15:25 FITW my MomOh wow, there are SO MANY seals everywhere. A couple were sunbathing in the dry grass close to the path in places. None directly next to the cache, but there was a whole family affair going on just some 10m below the cache site. What seemed to be the dad, was just graciously sitting on a rock, completely still, not moving, in a striking pose. The wee kid was fumbling around close by, and trying to get the attention of his mom. She wasn't really interested in him and was just constantly trying to shoo him away Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, drawp!#10172
Found it, what an awesome view of then fur seals. We even had to avoid them on the path to the cache
Thanks. logged this while my muggle birding group was looking the other way. Greetings from Vancouver Canada
It was not the best of days to be doing this one, and i was hoping it was on the piece of land over a bit, but I'm glad it wasn't as there were quite a few baby seals ... pups ?. I saw seals both large and small, seagulls, kina in a divers floaty thing, butter fish also in a divers floaty thing and also on the shore being pecked by a large seagull trying to get a feed. Was well worthwhile coming out here, and i thank you for placing your cache to encourage me to come. A favorite to add to the list because i enjoyed the experience.
There were at least 10 seals sunning themselves on the track so we did not go that way to disturb them.
A fantastic walk with stunning views. Thanks for bringing us here, a fav for the enjoyment. Had a big muggle interested in what we were doing but was thankfully down the bottom looking up. We could get the cache and sign the log. Thanks for this cache drawp.
Yay! TFTC! I came all the way from Vancouver BC Canada to find this cache! Lol. Thanks for being part of the adventure!
Saw some baby seals!!
Saw some baby seals!!
Visiting the area for a short break. . With a few caches to provide the cherry on top. TFC
I've been out on this point many times, but years ago, it has certainly changed, dodging muggles we nabbed the cache, signed and returned. Seals lounging about on the beach below. TFTC!
Great breezy views today!! Fantastic wild spot. Cache all dry and safe. TFTH and taking me there.
Find #7211

We are from Abilene, Texas, USA and have come to New Zealand to visit with a friend. We have gotten ten different Cache Types and will get the 11th Type (Webcam) when we go to Christchurch on Monday. Today Bitsprayer is taking us out to find more caches around Oamaru.
Thank you, drawp for placing this cache for all to find. We sign log sheets either as Love Cachers or LCers.
Driving over 50 miles to have...
Rusty barbed wire ripping through your clothes...
Curious rattlesnakes that come out of nowhere...
Itchy mosquito bites on every inch of your body...
A 40 mph wind gust blowing sand into your ears, nose and mouth...
Cactus needles getting stuck deep in your hands, arms and legs...
Thorny Mesquite trees scratching you up from head to toe...
Some or all of these things on a hike through 101° heat...
To sign your name or trade a toy...
SOUND LIKE FUN TO YOU?

spent 6 great weeks in New Zealand with my ?? The start was a bit bumpy (Cyclone Gabrielle) but then it got better and better. We travelled to both islands and discovered a lot. We photographed and filmed many beautiful things, but most of it stayed in our hearts.Almost everywhere we stopped, a cache was already waiting for us. Most of the caches are well maintained and easy to find. With mostly very nice weather, we saw a lot of this impressive island. In many places, caches were waiting for us, which were sometimes easy and sometimes difficult to find. This cache was also included and was successfully signedWe puzzled a lot in advance and the tours ?? were well prepared So this box was also well found.now I have another on my personal cache card.many thanks to [^] **drawp** [^] for the effort and the cache and greetings from Germany ???? Seeing that I was in Moeraki this morning doing the AdLab and when I had completed it I decided to try to locate and sign off these caches along Lighthouse Rd.
Time to go for walkies now. There were seals of all sizes, some were active and others not so active. I gave a favourite for the location.
Cheers for the cache.

On my campground in Moeraki I saw a info about Katiki Point. Was driving there and it was amazingly good. Was there at 11AM and again at 3PM and saw a lot of seals and also in the afternoon two penguins. That was much better than at the Otago Peninsula.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.
Didn't see any kakaraka and only a few seals compared to previous visits but we did see the cache. I nearly didn't go for it as the wind was so strong. Thanks drawp.
There was guardian nearby, so I didn’t approach too close, but I could see anything.
No 'guardian' today but also no luck with the cache. Which is a shame because if you discount the fake found it logs it's actually been lonely for 18 months.
A great day out with Frame Family. Lunched at the Fishwife - highly recommended. We were able to get to GZ but after a thorough search we had to give up. I kept a weary eye on the seals/sea lions nearby. Will have to come back. Thanks for bringing us here. Fantastic views and wildlife.
Wanted to go for all of them and walked down to this lovely spot! Saw where the cache might be, but directly next to it were several Navy seals up on the cliff. Super sweet and definitely didn't want to disturb them! Thanks for this magical experience
Guwapo, Mama, and Papa out on a roadie!! Close but that's about all. It's near the end of breeding season and so we decided to leave the fur seals to themselves!! Another day.
Dnf box because of too many sea lions (not seals) everywhere and I don't like the idea to disturb them more than neccesary only for my geofun.
We’re going to log this one in the spirit of Geocaching having made our way here, but being thwarted by a marine guardian
Sadly, we had to leave this one unfound. There were lots of seals around, most were pretty laid back and ignored us, but one in particular was not keen on us going any further so reluctantly, we turned back.
The seals / sea lions were far too numerous to get through to get to GZ. We could probably have kept 2m away as we threaded our way through. Some were OK at that distance, but some weren't. Time to beat a retreat.
Eleventh day of a two week motorhome excursion, heading via the Coast to the l ower South Island, picking up a few caches along the way – 14 today. Travelling from The Catlins to Moeraki today. Headed out this way later in the day to see if any penguins were about. Didn’t spot any but saw several seals (sea lions?) both down below and up on the grass! Found the cache with little difficulty. #3395. TFTC.
Fortunately no seals blocking access to the cache. Just about to look up when I got the others out here. IIRC this one popped up just after I did them. TFTC.
Today we had no chance to reach the cache, a seal kept watch at gz...!️
I think it is nonsens to log a dnf in such a case. My Lottikind and I did not try to reach the cache, so Let's write a note
Thanks for showing and greetings from Germany says ƤʘƤƛRƝI

Looks like we will be back for this one as there were two seals guarding the cache.
During our round trip on the South Island we searched and found some caches, this one was also there.
Here we made a little hike through nature, saw seals and birds and the children were thrilled how close the seals were. On our round we also searched and found the caches.
This one proved to be somewhat more difficult. The terrain was a bit more challenging and an observer (seal) guarded the cache. But the strong wind and the plants helped me with the camouflage and successful access.
Thank you very much for this cache say

Took a little while to find, but may have been because we were distracted by the view and all the animals.
Thanks for sharing this amazing place.

With a nice view and on the second look I found this cache. Thank you for that! The logbook is dry - yeah!
Vacations 2019 - Road trip trough New Zealand
With Geoesposa, this was my 50th anniversary. 16 days, 4200Kms and a few hundreds smilles after, i was sure i saw nothing....
I liked everything, the friendly and civilized people, the way the country works, the roads and especially the natural beauty of New Zealand.
I fell in love....
I decided to go back in 5 years, I easily see myself living my last days somewhere lost in any stunning scenery of this wonderful country.
With the itinerary studied at home, the caches were the ones that were in the chosen places, and a few used to stretch the legs. It was decidedly not the most important on this trip. Of all the visited, only half a dozen did not appear, all being in good health except two or three.
I will use this generic log, not for disrespect of the owners, but due to the amount of caches visited. Here the majority of caches serve to show something beautiful (as it should be), not giving importance to the container.
My thanks to all the ownwers who, allied to the natural beauty of the country, have made this vacation unforgettable.

Did not go there because there were seals all over the place. I have never ever seen so many before. I just was afraid to walk through... Maybe next time.
Lots of sea lions lazing about today but easily made my way between and got to GZ and after a quick check all was ok and quickly made the find. Had just sat down and a muggle family arrived behind me. Quite a few photos later and they left so quickly replaced cache and off I go to hopefully find #6 that I was unable to look for on the way down due to muggle presence TFTC
We found Wildlife #7 (North Otago) on our South Island sojourn.
We missed this on the way down due to Muggleton, so had a quick find on the way back.
Thanks drawp for placing this cache and being a part of out geocaching adventure

First visitors to the site this morning - having only camped down the road last night. We took an excited stroll to the end of the point and saw 2 penguins and numerous seals on the way! Nice easy find - signed the logbook and returned as found. Thanks for the cache!
Found whilst on our holiday to Australia & New Zealand.
While we were visiting Nugget Point yesterday, we got talking to a couple who told us about Katiki Point Lighthouse and the wildlife you could see there. So, after driving up, we spent the night in a campsite in Hampden, and made our way here in the morning. They weren't wrong, what a fantastic location. Loads of fur seals and birds to watch. We came at the wrong time to see the Penguins, but that's a good excuse to come back again.
Nice to see a few caches here too, which obviously had to be attempted. This one was the first. Once the GPS had settled down, I checked to make sure the local residents weren't sleeping nearby before I went to investigate the potential host. It didn't take too long before the cache was found, signed and replaced before any muggles came along.
Such a beautiful place that I definitely need to visit again one day.

#3979 We went in the evening to see pinguins. With pinguins we werent lucky, but we saw many seals, some albatroses and one very little rabbit . Thanks for the cache, greetings from Czech Republic.
During our 3-week journey through the South Island of New Zealand together with Löwi17 we also passed this beautiful place. A cache here and there may not be missing. Greetings from Germany by S & T147
Last of four found on an awesome walk at Katiki point today. Found quickly without being noticed by muggles or seals, both were plentiful Thanks for placing and maintaining a cache at such a great location!
